Description of Work: Economy Appliance repaired my front loader washing machine. He had to replace the drain pump. My machine is about 10 years old so he had to order the part. He was a very nice older gentleman. When I called to make the appointment he returned my call within 30 minutes and came out the very next day. When he realized he did not have the right part he told me he would order it and come back to finish the job. He didn't charge me until the work was done. I wasn't going to be home the day he wanted to return with the part. He said it was fine, fixed it and left the invoice with a hand written Thank you. It took trust on both our parts. Mine was letting him in my house without being home, and his, that I would pay for his services.

+ -1 moreI called Economy Appliance Repair to try and get my washing machine fixed. They were pleasant on the phone, and the estimate was within reason, so I set an appointment for that Thursday. I waited all day, but they did not show up, nor did I receive a phone call either on that day or any day afterward. To my knowledge, they have completely forgotten this failure of commitment. The next day I called "The Washing Machine Man" who squeezed me in that same day and had the machine fixed in 1/2 hour.
Description of Work: Nothing. They failed to keep the appointment.

+ 0 moreHis rates were reasonable and he got the job done. When he called for service he asked the correct questions for what I was looking for. He brought the right part for the stove the first visit. He had to order the part to repair the refrigerator. That was no problem and he got it fixed.
Description of Work: I had my refrigerator and stove repaired.
