The start was delayed due to rain. Some scheduling conflicts delayed it twice more. When the job did get started it went very well. It took three and one half days and the site was always left clean in the afternoon. The finished roof looks great!

The company did a good job repairibg a leak I had with the patio bracibg on the roof.

Great !! They did a great job on the roof and repaired some dry rot. The guys were punctual, showed up when they said they would and completed what they said they would. Kept in communication with me. I am very pleased with this company. Would say that I would use them again, but I got a 50 year roof, so I won't need too !!! But want to highly recommend this company. They are a local company and great at what they do.

We needed the old roof replaced on a house that was at the end of its life. Got the contract and quote from Tugwell Roofing which was done quickly however they offered an upgrade to title 24 compliant shingles. I felt like this was a good route to go in order to avoid the possibility of needing to also do anything with attic insulation to be compliant. However it turned out that the materials were only just released by the manufacturer and weren't actually available yet to be installed. The contract was signed in July and they couldn't actually do the install until March. The delay wasn't really anything Tugwell could control but it seems like they should have noted prior to offering it, that the product was new and it would have delayed the install. We weren't in any particular hurry to put the roof so opted to wait rather than go with a non title 24 compliant shingle after finding this out. I believe Tugwell thought they would be able to get them as they had even scheduled a crew which turned up to drop off equipment but hadn’t been advised the installed was delayed. During the interim we were only receiving occasional updates as to the status. Sometimes it would go more than a month between contacts from them to update us. Even to a point where we were beginning to wonder whether they had forgotten about us. However once they had the shingles in hand they were completely on top of getting the work scheduled and done in as timely a fashion as possible. The new roof looks very nice and clean compared to the old shingles. Aside from the delay which I can’t entirely fault them for, everything went smoothly and without issue.

Patrick came out. Located leak in attic. Then found nail that had backed out and penetrated shingles. He removed the nail, refastened the sheeting and repaired the damage. He also repaired the flashing around the vent pipes. We've had several storms since and no further leak.

I contacted Tugwell about a month ago as we had a leak in my daughters room. The office staff that took my call informed me they would have someone out the next day to repair the leak. This company is very good at communicating with you on arrival times and shows up when promised. Long story short, I ended up needing a new roof. I was explained the various options for my roof replacement and never felt pressured to upgrade. Tugwell installed my roof in one day as they had a crew of 10 to 15 guys on site on the day of the install. The project foreman was in contact with me through out the day to explain any additional items that were needed to be fixed such as dry-rot. When I got home from work there was my new roof and the surround area was completely cleaned up. During the installation they lay large tarps surrounding your house to catch any debris. If your in the need for any roofing work I would highly recommend Tugwell Roofing. There are a lot of roofers out there that will quote you low ball price but later add on a ton of change orders don't make that mistake go with Tugwell Roofing, a professional roofing company. One last note, I had both of my neighbors indicated how nice the crew was.

In all areas, from removal to replacement, this company exceeded our expectations. Everyone we dealt with was extremely professional, we're very happy with the quality of our new roof.

Both times these folks came out, for different jobs, they were very professional in every respect. They did the work promptly and properly, they charged me a fair price, and I will hire them again without hesitation should I have more problems with my roof.

They were slow about getting to me. They just told me it would be very expensive, did not give me a full quote. He was inexperienced, he was young. He said he had experience but you could tell he did not know very much abut roofing. He said he would contact his supervisor to get the exact cost but he never got back to me. I kept calling and never got a call back. He was kind of late, but not too late. I only spoke to two people; one who called me to make the appointment and the person who answered the phone and they were very nice. They were very nice and considerate but as far as performance they lacked. The politeness was good but professionalism was lousy.

The list above was basically what they agreed to do. I was aware that there would probably be an add on for the poor condition of the sun room roof sheeting and it did add about $1000 which was extremely fair considering they had to work around 5 large skylights, but the sun room is a pride to look at if you like looking at roofs. The crew treated me very well although I have been around contractors enough to stay out of their way. But they let me have input when it was needed and allowed me to do some little things I wanted. They were a hard working bunch, kept the place clean and when it was over, I scarcely knew they ever were there. When the job was complete the manager (Jordan) came over and did a complete walk around with me on the grounds, then same on the roof. He spotted a couple of insignificant items but to him perfection was the rule and that is what I saw and got. When the county inspector showed up, it passed without a single hitch. .Was the price good. I have no idea. This is the sort of work where you either like the bid or you do not. I did not seek other bids partly from knowing a couple of other of his customers and reading every review on Angies List. I would have to say that given the extensive work involved I got my money's worth. Certainly the add on for sun room repair was very fair. I wound up with a better roof that will last a very long time with amenities I really love (repaired cooler, skylight, gutter guards and best of all a really complete sun room with no leaks or issues. As the county inspector said as he headed for his vehicle, "you get what you pay for". I fully agree. Thank you to the Tugwell team, all of you. You were the best!!!

The experience went very well. They are a very professional company. They did what they said they were going to do. They were there when they said they were going to be there. Everything was best basically.

They way underestimated the amount of squares needed for the job. I found it to be a poor estimate.

Every step of the process went smooth, from the estimate onward. Crew showed up on time, there was enough people to do the job correctly and timely. They consulted me throughout the process to make sure all the repairs I wanted were done. The job was finished on time and done to perfection. Everyone exceeded my expectations. They cleaned up each day, brought me materials ahead of time so I could paint them before they were installed, and suggested better ways to improve my roof. The dry rot repair was extensive and they handled it with ease.

They showed up on time, and did an all around excellent job. They put a new swamp cooler, that we bought, on the roof and in place free of charge. All in all this is a really nice looking roof.

Work was complete within a day as a large enough crew worked the day. Well done.

No leaks thus far after first rain since repair work was done. Workmanship appears high quality, but workers showed up without prior notification.

They did a good job. It took a little while to get them out here, but I had told them that I was not in a hurry. They had other things going on. It was a good experience. I didn't do a comparative analysis because their quote seemed fair.

Jeff and his Crew were polite & professional. They were able to start my job early than I expected and that was great. Brian is a hard worker and passionate about his work. I was explained everything that was going to be done and the timeline which made me feel in the loop of things. I am very pleased with the roof! Looks awesome. Thank you Jeff & crew.

The crew that stripped the roof on day 1 was on-time and done by 1pm. Installation crew was on-time on day 2 & 3 and were skilled and efficient.

Punctual, professional, explained in detail needed repairs, affordable. Fantastic job!

I was very impressed with them. I live in Oregon and they were working on a rental home in California, and they kept in touch with me the whole time, letting me know if anything else needed to be done. I have a renter in it right now, and they kept in touch with her. She was also very impressed and said that they came the next day after they got the roof on, and they finished cleaning up and the yard looked better than when they started. They sent me pictures of the roof and my renter said that the roof looks very nice.

Jeff was courteous, knowledgeable, through, and very honest. He indicated we had several more years of roof life and provided us a variety of options that he could help with either now or in the future. We appreciated his advice and chose to wait on our roofing replacements. But we'll definitely contact Tugwell when it is time to do the work in a few years.
