+ -1 moreI had a lot of wind damage to my roof from winter storms in December. Th insurance company (Farmer's) tried to low ball me on fixing it and damage to my solarium. The first quote I got was considerably higher and I wouldn't have had any money left over to help with the other repairs. Jeff came in at a much better price and quickly did the job after the rains stopped with much better shingles than were offered in the other quotes we received. He was both pleasant and professional. Great job!

+ -1 moreWe did like the quality of the composite roofing materials compared to other companies. We were told that they would replace any rotten areas, use a sheathing material, and vent certain areas. However, like we said we are not quite ready to replace at this time. When we do we need to not only replace the house roof but 2 breezeways, car port and a 3-car garage roof. We di think quite highly of the materials that would be used.
Description of Work: We went to a home show where Tugwell Roofing was displaying their roofing materials and services. The gentleman we spoke with was very professional in describing the materials. Although a couple of questions on pricing would have to be from the manager who wasn't present at the time. I had heard that this company does a very good job and that was the main reason we went to see them. We do plan to get our roof replaced within the next three years. So if they are still in business they will be the ones we consult with.

The roofers were professional, polite, efficient and very tidy. The price was close to the other 2 bids and they did an excellent job. We could not be more pleased with the entire process.

They were all polite and were open to a suggestion from an old lady regarding the venting of the bathrooms.When the city inspector came to do his job he noticed some of the gutter guard had slipped out of place. I called Tugwell immediately and he had his man there to fix the ploblem that very day. Many of my neighbors agree that it is a beautiful roof and I am deeply pleased with it.
Description of Work: Completely tore off and disposed of the existing single layer composition roof.Installed Limiited Lifetime - 30 architectural composition and starter stip, over 15 lb felt underlayment, complete with high profile vented ridge and rake trim.Installed bracing on front two eves.Replaced sheeting on four damaged corners. Entered attic and re-directed the two bathroom vents through the roof and provided and installed vent covers for same.Removed and replaced one damaged facing barge rafer.Installed quality-steel gutter guard on all gutters and downspouts.Replaced, sealed and painted all pipe jacks.Cleaned grounds and ran magnet every day befoe leaving the job site.All workmanship is guarnateed for five years from time of completion.

Jeff came out when we had arranged, He gave me an estimate, which was very close to what I was charged, except for the gutter guards which I requested later, I thought I would need all new gutter but he assured me he was able to straighten the ones already there and secure them and they would be fine...he was right,,,,,they look like new. They came out to do the job a few weeks later, had it totally finished in a few days.......totally cleaned up any debris and left a beautiful new roof!
Description of Work: I found this company to be excellent.........professional, friendly as well as doing an excellent job.. Complete overlay with great looking, high quality, lifetime 30, composition shingles over 15ib felt underlayment, High profile ridge caps and rake. Replaced all damaged sheeting on eaves and overhangs, replaced23 feet of2x6 barge rafter and 4-5 rafter tails, Replaced,sealed,secured and painted all pipe all pipe jacks and vents as needed. Cleaned all gutters and downspouts, installed gutter guards on all gutters,,,,,,,installed anew condensation line for the swamp cooler, All workmanship guaranteed for five years from time of completion. Also did some extra wood repair on gable and back of roof (N0 Charge)
