House (1440 sq ft interior) attic was air-sealed and insulation was upgraded in accordance with current city building codes. Air sealing was done with canned fire-retardant closed cell foam. Sealing was conducted around all protrusions through attic floor, including dozens of canned (LED) lights, vent pipes, and duct work. Insulation upgrade as conducted was to R-40. All larger pipe and duct work was wrapped in fiberglass batting prior to blown in fiberglass insulation. Attic hatch was insulated with closed cell foam board with a foam seal rim surrounding the hatch. All work passed city building code inspections, with inspector commenting on how well the work was done. Work was completed in timely manner as planned. Meek's crew were friendly, and hardworking, and went out of their way to ensure work was done in a quality manner. On the plus side, the crew chief was retiring from decades of field work after our job--having been promoted to supervise future Meek's work in this area. That is a big plus for anyone thinking of using Meek's in the future.
