+ -1 moreInspector found a few things that needed to be fixed and came back with a huge estimate. It should be illegal for pest inspectors to inspect and also perform the corrections because they will always find something wrong. Work was hired out to a private contractor (for a fraction of the cost) and completed but when Big Time came back to inspect it wasn't done good enough for them so the contractor had to do more which required another inspection. Each time they inspected they charged another $100. So, why would it be good enough the first time. The whole endustry is a racket.

+ 0 moreTim and his crew of 1 worked diligently for 3 days to complete items agreed to in the purchase of a new to us home. They answered all my questions with patience and knowledge. He made recommendations for future work too. I would recommend their services any day of the week.
Description of Work: Big Time is so much more than just pest control. Replaced & repaired hvac duct work, replaced 2 useless outdoor spigots, improved grading around home, and so much more.

+ -1 moreThe entire process went very well--my focus is on communication, and Big Time does that very well. Big Time followed the contract time line, and all aspects of this messy, complicated job went very smoothly. The entire job lasted approximately 6 weeks...that was from start to finish. Big Time also went out of their way to locate the appropriate sized barge rafters to match the existing cedar siding. It's now 2013; no smell, no bats except in the wooded tree areas, I'm extremely happy!
Description of Work: We had a major bat infestation in August 2011; over 200 bats. The Big Time team visited our home within 48 hours to investigate, assess the situation---they were there for least 2 hours. Very professional, was told they would provide a quote to exclude the bats, remove the guano, and fumigate the home due to bat bugs that can travel through electrical receptacles. Mike’s team provided an estimate to perform the following work: Safely and legally exclude the bats Remove and dispose the bat guano (over 50 each 30-gallon trash bags) Spray the attic with a natural product that helped with the odor of the built-up guano Fumigated the home for 2-weeks to ensure bat bugs didn’t look for another host (humans) Plugged the numerous areas where the bats were entering the attic (cedar siding house) Replaced barge rafters at both ends of the home (Big Time also does construction) Big Time worked during the month of August; extremely hot in the attic, anywhere from 110+ degrees. The team showed up on time, or if they were running late, we were contacted. Excellent communication—timely response to my email inquiries. The estimate was detailed; very thorough, and I felt the price was fair for the amount of work that had to be done. Mike had to return a few times after the exclusion…bats are tricky and found tiny places where 1 or 2 bats were getting in. He came within a few days of our call, and plugged the areas. Mike is extremely knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and he and his team provides excellent service. We now have an annual inspection contract to ensure the bats do not return. I highly recommend Big Time for pest control as well as your construction needs.

+ -1 moreWe own two rentals and have been under contract with Big Time for approx one year. Today, a Saturday, I have a brand new tenant calling me about mice scurrying across the kitchen floor. Big Time has posted hours of 9-5 on Saturday but no one answers the phone and there is no answering service for immediate needs. I am not going to tell my new tenant or any tenant for that matter that they will have to wait till its convenient for my pest control company to stop by and take care of the problem. So, I immediately called Clark's Pest control and guess what, they answered the phone and I am now under contract with them. That's how I do business.
