Excellent installation. It took about 5 days for completion. From the first presentation to the work, everything was done professionally and with integrity. They were able to come a week early before the scheduled date and start the work. Cleaned up after each work day. Answered all questions quickly. Patty at the office was very quick to answer any questions. I had four other estimates. Their price was not cheapest, but very competitive with others and you know you are paying for high quality installation. A few other companies had proposed installation plans that did not seem proper. The city inspector commented on high quality installation of the work.

I first called after hours on Thursday. The voice mail said that their first available date would be the following Tuesday. I left a message but wasn't too keen waiting until Tues with the heat and humidity we were experiencing. I got a call the following morning and told that someone could come out early Saturday afternoon. I was taken by surprise due to not expecting anyone to come out until Tues. However, he came out, and gave me the bad news. I had the work done today (Jul 31) and they just left. It took 3 guys about 6 hours to do the work. They were friendly, informative, and worked hard the entire time. I can tell the difference in professionalism between the work that they did and the prior work. They were recommended by family plumber whom I have been very satisfied with and used them several times so I trusted their recommendation. One suggestion is there might be a little better update on arrival time but I am spoiled by Family Plumber who keeps me updated on a regular basis when they are doing work for me.

The owner gave me the estimate and then there were 3 people that actually did the work. The clean up was fine.

Two Carrier dealers had told me that I had a bad compressor that although it was a known defect, they were still going to charge me for the repair and reimburse me later. There were numerous other issues with the repair including the fact that there would be no warranty. I ultimately decided to replace the unit with another brand and called Wayne fro West Coast Energy out to give me an estimate. Wayne came out listened to my story and said that he felt that repairing the unit was the most cost effective. Although he isn't a Carrier dealer he got Carrier to agree to live up to the warranty and was going to do the installation for me. He had not really tested the unit so he decided to do that first and guess what the compressor wasn't the problem. As it turns out it was a capacitor and the repair saved me almost a $1000, plus the fact that a new compressor wasn't necessary nor would it have fixed the problem.

A/C was just not working. The inside fan was blowing, but it was hot and the outside fan wasn't working. West Coast came out (on time) to fix it. After checking out the system they found that it was just a wiring problem. They fixed that problem, and checked the system out to make sure everything else was working. It now works fine. They were there about an hour. Total charge was $72. I would absolutely call these guys again if I need A/C service.

Air conditioning and heating unit was $5000 complete, inside and out. They gave me NINE estimates from three manufacturers, Trane, Maytag and Rheem, so I had an abundance of choices. I checked out their licenses and insurance coverage with the state. No problems. And they already had five full five star ratings on Angie's list and about forty five star ratings on Yelp. It took them only one day to put it in and the unit passed an independent test with flying colors. They give a ten year written LABOR guarantee, as well as the standard parts guarantees from the manufacturers; the best guarantees out there. Wayne and his men are top notch. They did not rush the job and were clean and courteous. They checked the ducts in the attic and repaired one. Wayne went to city hall to get the permit for me and arranged for the independent tester to come by. All I had to do was sit back and enjoy the cool air after they were done. I am recommending them to all of my friends.

I interviewed 7 AC Contractors because my project was very complicated, it was not an easy AC installation, asbestos ducting, unaccessible ducting, limited space .... so glad finally picked West Coast. Great service, very professional, highly recommended.

It was a great experience. They were right there on the same day that I called them. They were just very upfront about explaining what was wrong and fixing only what was wrong and not trying to sell me more things that I did not need. I also think that their price was good.

Patty was great in arragning an emergency heater replacemetn during a cold month. The technician who estimated the worka and costs was very knowledgable and gave me options that minimized future repaiirs. They installed a new heater in one day.

West Coast Energy, performed excellent from the initial estimate to the final inspection by the city. The owner (Wayne), office manager (Patty), technicians (Joe & Jerry), were outstanding, courteous and professionally efficient. Highly recommend.

Got several estimates all of which were competitively priced. The work was completed in 2 days. My only complaint is that a heat loss/load calculation was not offered or performed. My heat and AC tend to short-cycle which leads me to believe the system is oversized. Excellent follow up service as well. When my brand new AC compressor started making an unusual noise and running loudly WC Energy was out the same day to assess. A new compressor was ordered and installed in a very timely manner.

They not only performed all of the services in a timely manner but left the home spotless. Would absolutely recommend them again!

THE FIRST PERSON I HIRED TO DO THIS JOB LEFT WITHOUT DOING IT AFTER SPENDING A FEW HOURS. I HAVE A CONFINING ATTIC. I CALLED WEST COAST ENERGY AND THEY CAME ON SHORT NOTICE AND INSTALLED MY GAS LINES.
