Description of Work: I replaced an old rotten wood side gate with steel gate. Jim from Tom's Iron Works came for estimate and gave us a reasonable price. We chose design from his pictures. Paid $200 for deposit and paid the rest at the time of completion. Jim came on time. The door is beautiful.

Description of Work: Installed a new iron patio gate. We were highly satisfied with the service we received and the quality of the gate. Our neighbor commented that it is one of the nicest gates she has seen.

Description of Work: The nice thing was that they came out on a Saturday morning to do the bid which worked out better with my work schedule. Many other companies would not do that. After the initial meeting, a couple of days later I received an email copy of my design/bid. It took some time to coordinate and arrange and schedule the work but I was not in a hurry so I didn't mind. The final installation went without a hitch. They removed the old gate and installed the new one. The fit and finish was exactly what I wanted. I was very pleased with the outcome.

Description of Work: They sanded and painted a wrought iron fence in my backyard. There were areas where it was rusted. Two men arrived in timely manner. There was difficulty in communicating as they did not speak/understand English as well as I would have liked. My main issue was what happened with the rabbit fence that was attached via trenching and tying to the wrought iron fence. The two men tore it out of the ground, in pieces, and it took my husband several weekend days to reinstall it. I would have had them reinstall it, but the paint on the wrought iron was not dry enough. My husband was angry about the way the rabbit fencing was simply torn to pieces and tossed into the shrubbery. |The work on the wrought iron fence was satisfactory, but I was home to supervise and find areas where the sanding was not satisfactorily completed and where the painting had been skipped.

Description of Work: Sammy came over and repaired an old iron gate. He repaired the gate where it had rusted, replaced two hinges, and repaired a support strut.

Description of Work: Tom's was responsive and quick and they followed up when they said they were going to follow up. The pricing was cheaper than any of the other gate manufactures. Their installation of the gate was well done and detailed and they showed pride in their work.

Description of Work: I was looking for a fence and gate to protect my property. I had 4 quotes, Toms Ironworks being the best priced. Paid cash and got a bit taken off price. It took about 2 weeks from time of order to installation. Although what should have been a 1 day install turned into 2.5 the quality was very good and I was very pleased with it all. I had a tree that was going to get in the way of the fence and the guys, with my approval, cut the tree completely off. They worked well with any needs I had as a home owner. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: Installed 3 foot high iron fence on 2 sides of pool to keep small children out of pool area. Looks very "Disneylandish" and actually improved the look of the pool area. Did great work at a reasonable price.,
