Stanley Pest Control called me right away to schedule my appointment. They showed up promptly, were courteous, clean, professional and did a great job. I called them to come back and spray again because I thought there was still this bug that wouldn't go away. They returned and sprayed again, free of charge. I was very pleased with this company.

The owner came out and inspected. He said there were spiders there but nothing out of the ordinary and no black widows. The owner was honest and very gracious. He was punctual and stuck to the time he said he would be here.

No issues. I was given a 2 hour window for when to expect the guy and he showed up 10 minutes into the time slot! He was quick, took care of the job, and we had no follow-up or issues. It we have a pest problem in the future we'll definitely call them again.

Bought an Angie's List 'Big Deal' to have these guys come out and do a treatment for ants and spiders. We have a pretty big lot (1/4 acre) and were being overrun with ants and black widows. Six months later, I'm just starting to see the ants and still no spiders, so whatever they did - it worked as advertised. Nice guy too. Very straightforward process with no problems. Would call them again.

Great experience from arranging the appointment on the phone, to friendly rep showing up exactly on time, to a completely successful treatment with no more ants! I even recommended Stanley's to our workplace as we were having an ant issue there.
Description of Work: We had a fairly heavy infestation of ants the year before and they were coming back in force again, Stanley's used a termiticide (Termidor) as the treatment around the house and completely took them out, I know from past experience that the termiticide is not cheap so I was surprised that is what they used for this $89 special. The rep was exaclty on time, friendly and more than willing to also treat around our sidewalk (away from the house) where there was more ant activity. Within a couple of days there was no ant activity anywhere and we have not seen another one in the house since. Very possibly the treatment will need to be done again next year but it was well worth it for an ant-free season, but Termidor has some staying power so we will see how it goes.

I had been experiencing many ants circling around the upper wall perimeter of the inside of my upstairs semi outdoor dining room for several months. The technician suggested I spray inside as well as outside. After a couple of weeks the ants still existed and I emailed the company to let them know and inquire about what came next. I never heard back from the company at all. After another week the ants did disappear. They did get rid of my any problem but the customer service was not up to par with my expectations. I did expect to be either emailed or telephoned back to follow up and make sure that the service performed was effective especially since I did reach out to them.

The company was great. They were easy to work with for scheduling our appointment. The person they sent was very friendly, knowledgeable and did a fantastic job of explaining what the treatment did. He arrived on time, completed his work and then was off. Easy, fast, efficient.

UPDATE: Stanley saw my review and immediately sent out another guy who did an excellent job. He was also very kind and professional. He went above and beyond to make me happy. The result was much better this time...dead spiders...but unfortunately it didn't last very long. Not sure it can...it's outside and new spiders come. Overall pleased with the second visit!!
Description of Work: I paid $89 for an insect/spider treatment since I have many spiders...especially Black Widows...in my backyard. I wanted them all killed before a children's party. I went out to inspect the next night and I found 5 spiders, right away, out in the open. i sent the company an email telling them what happened and haven't heard back from them yet. Very disappointed. The guy was really nice that came to the house, but he said the sprayer on the truck wasn't working, so he had to do it with a backpack type sprayer. Maybe that's why it didn't work. I feel like I wasted my money because I still have spiders...since the day of the treatment nothing has changed.

We reached out to Member to find out what the outstanding issues were and found that he had emailed us but we did not receive it, hence we have changed all our office email addresses to our Branch Manager's email addresses. In addition we confirmed an appointment with Member to treat his property for general pests including spiders for March 2, 2013 at no cost to him with a 30 day warranty. We appreciate that this incident was brought to our attention so we could rectify Member's concerns.

He started using a hand sprayer, then after deciding it would take too long he used the long hose and pressure sprayer mounted on his vehicle. He was friendly, punctual, and thorough and finished within 45 minutes. They even came back for free (under contract for 30 days) when the ants reappeared. The 2nd time seemed to have finished them off - it's now Thanksgiving and we haven't seen much pests outside anymore!
Description of Work: We had them spray our exterior (all sides) for insects - a streaming colony of ants and infestation of brown widow and black widow spiders.

They Explained throughly the service I had purchase, and immediately start explaining one visit wasn't going to cure the problem. We signed up with a service every 3 month. My aunt problem came right back in about a week, product they used was not strong enough. The crickets never left. I have cancel the service I have signed up for.

Arrived on time and we explained that the only bugs we were interested in exterminating were spiders. He sprayed around the house but we had to make sure that he went all the way around. We had a few spiders already back in two weeks.

As I mentioned before it is not worth it unless you sign up for an anual contract becasue a one time deal will not eleimate your problems with bugs.
Description of Work: I called for ant problem outside my home, they sprayed and the ants disappeared for two weeks and came back, then I called them again as there is a 30 day guarantee on service call and they came back and sprayed ants disappeared again, then now a month later the ants came back but service is expired, I think I should have bough some ant bait from Home Depot for $5 and it would have done the same thing they did or even better, in my opinion the ants won this round over the exterminator. Hate having to spend this much money for temporary relief, but in their defense this is the summer season when ants are out in full swing, I think in my opinion they should give a three month guarantee for almost a $100 fee for a service like this that I bough as a big deal normally priced at $165.00

Stanley pest control employee spent 15-20 minutes spraying my yard for bugs and spiders assured me the spiders would be gone in a couple of days and left. Been 3 weeks and I still cannot see a difference the treatment made. I still have the same amount of spiders.

We had an ant problem in the house. I bought a coupon from Angie's List, and then they came out. The guy was right on time. He did a really good job; we haven’t seen any ants. I would definitely give him an excellent reference. He offered other services; we just went with this at this time. But it seems like he got the problem under control. His punctuality and professionalism was excellent.
