Description of Work: I purchased the $79 deal through Angie's List. After confirming that they'd be there, they cancelled the first visit with no advance warning, then re-scheduled a new visit. In the second visit, they charged an additional $225. I have two small garage doors, so I was asked to pay full price for the service on the second door plus the extra parts fee for 'premium' parts. I don't have a problem with the fact that I should pay for the serviced 2nd door, but considering they cancelled the first visit, there was no price break for the 2nd door from their full rate & no fine print for the 'upgraded' hardware I was told I'd have to purchase for my wood doors. I was told by the technician it was in the fine print, but when I checked it actually didn't cover this particular case.

Description of Work: They advertised that they could help make garage doors less noisy. After he worked on them, he pointed out he needed to do more because doors needed new parts. He replaced a few things and then added a keyless entry for me. However it would have cost much more to make them quieter. I did agree to what he did because I do not know much about garage doors. Then when he left and I tried the combination to the keyless, it did not work so he had to come back out to reprogram. I did feel that I was taken advantage of, but I should have asked more questions to begin with.

Description of Work: Couldn't say enough about their efficiency and promptness. The tune-up was so quickly accomplish do and made a huge difference in the operation of both garage doors. Highland recommend this Company!

Description of Work: They performed a maintenance tune up on garage door system via Angie's List special. Was having problems sometimes with garage door going back up, stopping halfway, etc. Michael,the technician replaced a limit switch. |Everything has been working great. Never been so quiet. Michael, the technician loves working for his company.

Description of Work: Replaced a broken spring and tuned the garage door system. |The garage door has never been as quiet as it is now in the last five years! Definitely will call Sam's again for future garage door repairs or tune ups.

Description of Work: Garage door would sometimes reverse upon closing. Sam diagnosed it as a pressure problem and made the appropriate adjustments. The problem has not reoccurred so I am very satisfied with his service.

Description of Work: They squirted oil on the garage door hinges and gave me a repair estimate. I could have got one for free from someone else. This estimate cost me $39.00.

Description of Work: Replaced the garage door motor. I was given a time frame and they called about 10 minutes before arrival to say they were on their way. They checked the motor, gave us an estimate of cost, and explained our options. They did an excellent job and we were very satisfied.
