Sam's Garage Doors

All went very well. He was punctual & professional. Did not try and up sell. We were so pleased with the service we signed an annual tune up agreement with the company.

The appointment was easy to make. The technicians called to verify when they were on their way and arrived on time. They were professional and did a safety inspection, lubricated and tightened where necessary. They did point out that my garage door opener is old and offered pricing on a new one, but it wasn't a hard sell. They were fast and professional and my garage door has definitely been running better and quieter since the service.

They were fantastic. There was an extra charge for the wall switch but they were able to do it. The additional services were $80. They take whatever time is required to make everything in woking order. They are able to refund to additional requirements on the spot. We don't have to reschedule for them to come out. Their price was very reasonable. I didn't have issues with their pricing. I would absolutely use them in the future.

Job is done on time, good manners, very professional. Highly recommended.

Mike came out and tuned up my garage opener. He also made sure that both of the remotes were in working order (only one was working when he arrived). The door now functions much quieter and smoother. He noted that the lens of one side of the safety detector was missing but saw now reason to change it out until it no longer performed its function (given that this replacement would have been additional monies I greatly appreciated not having a hard sell on it).

They called beforehand to confirm appointment and arrived on time. They brought the appropriate motor which fit my space and installed it quickly. They cleaned up afterward. They set up the remote so my car opener worked as well. Works perfectly and is a big improvement.

Mike, the repairman, was a pleasure to work with. He was very informative and walked me through the tune-up process. He worked very clean and efficiently. I would definitely hire him again.

Sam's Garage Doors did not provide a tune-up as advertised, instead the representative tried to encourage us to purchase of a brand new garage door and opener. Nothing was lubricated on our door and opener, nothing was balanced, nothing was adjusted or tightened as advertised in the Angie's List deal. We received no service for the money we spent on the "deal". We did not feel a brand new door was necessary at this time. Another garage door business was contacted and solved the problem we were having.

can't say enough great things about my interaction with this company. they were very responsive, scheduled the appt with ease and the technician was very professional and kind.

Excellent experience start to finish. Called office, scheduled a Saturday appointment so I didn't have to miss any work. Advised the office that I had a heavy wood 2 car garage door with springs. Office person contacted Sam to ask what would be the best type of opener for my door. Answer came back within 30 minutes. Suggested (2) different models. Asked if they could bring both, so tech could see the door and advise which would be best. Sam (owner) came to do the job when the appointment was scheduled. He came to my Los Angeles home, despite the fact they are located in Orange County. Very professional and honest. He advised that the less expensive screw drive would be good enough for many years of service. I didn't need to buy the more expensive chain model, that could last 25 years. Installation was professional and he cleaned up everything. He explained and demonstrated how the system worked. The price was fair for the quality of the product and the installation. I would rather work with the owner of the company like Sam, instead of saving $50-$100 on a Home Depot or Lowes never see the same person again installation. Price charged was the exact $400 that was quoted over the phone. Sam has excellent reviews online. This is one more for the record.

OK. He tried to sell me new springs to the tune of $250.00.

service went well. He diagnosed the problem, presented a solution and finished all in a couple hours. Garage now works great.

Very impressed, I?m a single woman and just purchased a condo. I have been having a few issues with garage door making noise when opening and closing and trouble with keypad. They took their time to explain everything to me, checked all working parts oiled the rollers and springs which helped with noise they even installed a new light bulb in the unit! They advised I will need to replace the rollers and springs but as I said just bought the place and have a limited budget. They did give me a written estimate for the repairs and I will definitely use them when I'm ready. Thanks You to my Tech's Alex & Mike!

I was very happy with all that he did, he offered to set up the car openers, explained how everything worked and his cleaning up after he was done.

The technicians came and installed the garage door opener. It took a little over 2 hours for the opener installation. The techs were very thorough to make sure everything is working perfect. The installation job was done beautifully, and before they leave, they inspect the opener just to be sure that everything was done correctly and we won't have issues. We love the new opener and the weather strip. Will definitely use Sam's Garage Doors again for our future garage door related needs.

I called Sam's garage Door at 3:00 PM last Saturday afternoon. A pleasant lady answered and said " we can send a tech out on Monday". She asked me the issue and I told her. She asked how I found them, I answered " Angies List". I asked if there was any way they could come today. (Saturday) She answered that they could come between 7and 8 that night.......GREAT.......By the way, they do not charge for service calls. At 7:00 PM he showed up, I showed him the issue. He doubled checked all connections and made some adjustments. We tried the remotes and push button receivers and door worked great. Remind you, this was at no cost to me, he would not even accept a tip. I asked how long he had been with the company, he answered " 5 years, I own the company"... This was , without a doubt , the nicest experience I have ever had. My garage door is old, when it comes time, Sam will be my first call. I will highly recommend "Sam's" to friends and family............Regards,Ted
