Sam's Garage Doors

He had to improvise since my garage door is no longer manufactured. Once it was all finished, the end result was exactly what I wanted.

The technican was VERY knowlegable and performed his work professionally. The new (x2) door openers work great. However, he did not activate the "Home Link" as mentioned in the offer. The price was very competitive. My main concern is that the offer was for the "Liftmaster 1356" and the installation was the Liftmater 8065." I was not advised by the Vendor of this change. Therefore, I have no idea if the unit installed equals the unit offered on Angie's List.

I had used Sam's Garage Door before and had a good experience, so, when my garage door wouldn't go down, I called them to come check it out. They were able to send someone out that day, gave me a 3 hour window of time and Mike, the technician, called when he was on his way. He checked it out and determined that the motor in my garage door was dying and he was able to replace it right then with a new opener. I do recommend Sam's Garage Door as both times that I've needed garage door servicing, they've been prompt and their technicians have been friendly and professional.

Sam's Garage was able to send someone out to replace my broken garage door springs the same day I called, actually, they arrived within 45 - 60 min of my call. Jesse, the service tech, was very polite and professional and had a great friendly smile. He quickly replaced the springs. I really appreciated that as part of the service he also checked the garage door to make sure the cables, rails, rollers etc. were all in good working condition and that he lubricated all the hinges. It was evident that Sam's Garage Doors strives to give their customers a good experience. Based on this experience I highly recommend Sam's Garage Doors.

Easy to make an appointment, arrived on time, efficient...further services or updated mechanism I may need or want in the future were fully explained without any "upselling" pressure. I will definitely use again for garage door maintenance and for future upgrade and/or replacement of (old but still functioning) motor when I am ready.

Absolutely wonderful... Mike was on time, helpful, efficient, clean and a pleasure to work with. My two doors work better than they have in ten years. I introduced him to my next door neighbor and Mike ended up doing some work for him as well. Mike completely removed one opener and reset it to a place that would make it more efficient. So.. Two tune ups and reset opener, all for $114! The last company I had out wanted$75.00 apiece just for the tune up! Bravo Zulu Sam's!!!

I was contacted by Sam's to say that I was not in his service area and to contact Angie's for a refund. I did contact Angie's and arranged for a refund and the kind representative is going to search for a provider that will honor that same or similar pricing for a vendor that will serve me. I am on a limited income and this was a great deal for something I did need to get done. I hope to hear from AL with a new company!

Mike called ahead when he was coming which I appreciated. He was personable and explained things clearly. The door is now quieter than it ever was and closes softly and thoroughly.

Technician was professional, reviewed and replaced rollers. He was quick and efficient. He also showed me how to work the door without the electricity and what happened when I used the rope instead of the handles to pull door up manually. I found this very informative and appreciated the time he took to explain. I would definitely call this company again.

I'll admit it. The garage door is the last thing I think about when doing house maintenance. My poor garage door hadn't been serviced in... well... suffice to say it was quite a while. I was the $69 tune-up with roller replacement that caught my eye. Once my purchase was complete, I was contacted by Sam's very quickly to schedule the appointment. Needing it to be on a Saturday I was pleasantly surprised that I could schedule it for the very next Saturday. It was a late appointment (5:00 - 7:00) but that was fine by me. The day comes for the service and I get a call from Sam's saying their tech was running late, but he only missed the appointment window by 30 minutes and the work was done quickly. I understand how late day appointments can slip and I appreciated the call keeping me informed on the delay. It's a GREAT value and I highly recommend Sams. In fact I'm calling them next to see about getting my old and NOISY garage door openiner replaced.

Technician came out, explained what was needed and why. Took the time to explain how to use new garage door opener and remotes as well as yearly maintenance. Very professional and very nice. Would certainly recommend and use Sam's garage door service again.

I ended up getting it done. I wasn't super thrilled with what they did but it is what it is. It was kind of a waste of time and money. They literally just came and sprayed grease. It wasn't the kind of tune-up I was expecting. I could spray the grease on the wheels myself. They just come out to sell you to replace the wheels. It's kind of scammy. It wasn't how they advertised it. They should be more honest and detailed with their advertising.

They were not able to book me right away, but were very courteous and professional in the appointment process. The specialist, Mike, came out today as planned and completed the work efficiently. The door works great, should last longer now, and he also gave me a few tips on helping to keep it working as long as possible. He also had advice for when it's time to replace any of the major components. No sales job, just honest tradesmen advice. Much appreciated. There was no additional cost as the Angie's List Deal covered it all.
