They matched the color of wood in our family room to our kitchen to create a 'great room.' The reason my husband chose Reborn is there was a corner that Reborn matched that the other company was going to put in molding and we didn’t want that done. Reborn was able to create a more uniform look without the molding. Also, I had forgotten to tell them I was getting new floor installed in the kitchen and they came back and removed the baseboards and then reinstalled the baseboards once the floor was installed. I even had a problem with a button to take the drawers out and they came out the same afternoon to show me how to put the drawers back in. They are very responsive and I would highly recommend them to others.

We were so afraid of contractors before visiting Reborn that we were contemplating doing all the work ourselves. If we had attempted it, there is no doubt that we would be without a kitchen for months and probably still would have had to hire a professional to finish the job. We went to a Reborn Cabinets seminar on how to select a contractor. We knew full well that this was really a sales pitch wrapped in an education program, but we thought at the very least we would get some helpful information out of it. We were absolutely floored by the presentation. If it was a sales pitch, it was a good one. The seminar was chock full of good information and real examples. We learned everything for what to look for in a contractor's license to how to tell a good hinge from a bad one. Even if we weren't planning on doing a kitchen remodel, the seminar itself was a great experience. So it's obvious that we bought the pitch. We reached out to them almost immediately and had an in-home consultation with Terri, our design consultant. The rest of the experience was a whirlwind of activity and, yes, we were without a kitchen for about 6 weeks. They actually would have had the job done in 5 but we were delayed by our flooring contractor. The flooring and electrical were the only things we didn't contract through Reborn and the flooring was the only thing we had problems with. Every one of Reborn's contractors was professional, courteous, and expert in what they do. The new kitchen is AMAZING. The experience with Reborn was beyond amazing. If you live in Orange County and are considering a remodel, you are doing yourself a disservice by not looking into Reborn Cabinets. They are friendly, expert craftsmen who bend over backwards to satisfy their customers.

Reborn did a good job on refacing the vanity and its subcontractor did a good job on the tile work. The project, however, took three weeks longer than promised and wasn't completed to our complete satisfaction.

Designer gave us a decent design, but was not responsive past the design phase. When I had questions about selecting finishes, too forever to get hold of the guy. Once he even went on vacation for a week and didn't leave a message on the outgoing voicemail, and we never knew. Nobody in the office told us, they'd just pass us on to his voicemail. The customer service liaison (who is supposed to take over once you're in the construction phase) was new to his position and not very communicative and not particularly good with people. It was very much an assembly line process -- get them in, get them out. They did set up a time table that they went over with us before the job started, and we did start and finish on schedule, which is good. But.......once that timetable was in motion, good luck getting someone to take your call, get someone out if there was a problem, which there was. Now, the cabinets themselves were beautiful and held up well for the next 7 years we lived in the house and that kitchen probably helped sell our old house. But their subcontractors were horrible, especially the stone/tile guys and the appliance installation guys. I only write this review some 7 years later because I see not much has changed according to the other reviews found here. And Reborn has been calling us lately trying to find new business.

We went to their showroom and we were impressed. Although they specialize in cabinets, making them on site, they do more than that. They had a wide selection of flooring and counter top choices on display. We went to one of their monthly seminars. I would recommend you attend even if you decide to go elsewhere. Get a bit of education and some lunch free. A designer came to our home and took measurements. We discussed alternatives. We also had three other contractors come out and also give us estimate. Literally one contractor give me an estimate on the back of a business card!! This is a $17,000 job, not $100. I immediately ruled them out. Another contractor had a very good Angies list rating, however, he was not a general contractor. He did send out a general contractor, but the price suddenly went up a lot. Plus now I needed to work with two independent people and and still needed to come up with an electrician. I did not feel I was able to act as a general contractor. After going through all that is involved I'm now more sure then ever that this was a good decision. Really my only complain on Reborn would be things took longer than expected. The bulk of the work was done in a timely manner. However, a few minor things took a while to get resolved. However, I think the most important thing is to be happy with the final results, which we are. The tile work is beautiful. They did an excellent job. My only complain on that is that they cleaned their tools, at the end of the day, on my lawn. Even after asking them not to do that I did catch them doing that a second time. However, the lawn seems to be okay, and I can find no fault with their job. And I am picky. Reborn always returned my calls. They offer an on-line schedule so you want see what days they are planning to do what type of work. They always called the day before to let me know when someone will be coming out. They are not the cheapest contractor in town, but they have a long history, and are highly professional, and for me those are very important qualities.

I was searching for cabinet refacing places back in January, before I signed up for Angie's List. I filled out a few contact forms and spoke with a few places to get some ideas on cost. I got a call from Reborn today, May 12th. I filled out the form in January. The very first thing the rep said was, "I see you filled out our contact form in January. Sorry for the delay." She said it like it had been a few days, rather than four MONTHS. But fine, I figured I could at least price them out to compare to the information I received from some other places in January. I asked for a general range of pricing for refacing cabinets. I realize they can't quote me without seeing my kitchen, but rather than setting up an appointment and wasting time meeting with someone when it is out of my price range, I just wanted a ballpark number (every other quote I had received for refacing was more than I had in my budget, so I had already decided I will probably have the cabinets painted instead). I wasn't asking for an exact quote, but a range. Something like "We do them from around $1000 up to $5000" or something. She immediately refused to even give me an idea without meeting a designer. I told her I didn't have time to setup a meeting unless I knew it was something I could afford anyway. Finally she said, "We do refacing anywhere from $100 (one hundred) on up." Really? Don't mess around with me. You are not refacing ANYTHING for $100. Especially not a kitchen, which is what I told her I was doing. Then I was just irritated that she was trying to placate me with absurdly low prices, hoping I would just do a consultation like she wanted. They must give out candy to the res who can set those up or something. That is ALL she was concerned about doing - setting up a meeting, not helping me understand costs. So I finally told her I wasn't interested and had planned to paint the cabinets since refacing was generally out of my budget. She then told me I was making a mistake and that painting will make them look bad and then I will have to repaint them every two years, thus wasting my money anyway. First, I am not an idiot (as she seemed to think) and I know plenty of people who have repainted cabinets and as long as you use quality paint and products, they look amazing, even years later. The old owners of our house repainted the bathroom cabinets at least 4 years ago and they look BRAND NEW, so I know she is full of s***. I logged in here out of curiosity to see their rating and it was terrible! Doesn't surprise me. All I am saying is if they don't respect you on the phone when they first talk to you or they don't care enough to call you until 4 months after you ask them to, stay away.

They're workmanship and the quality of their materials is excellent. Their price is good and reasonable but a little high. Their scheduling is terrible.

We decided not to use this company. Although their showroom is beautiful, for us they were over-priced. Our problems came after we informed them that we decided not to use them. We were getting telephone calls & letters soliciting their business very often, even after we kept informing them that we had already decided on someone else.

They didn’t come on time. They didn’t provide the layout pictures that they promised. Things like shelves and grab bars were extra costs. Craig, the salesmen, didn’t seem to really be engaged in my project. I wanted to put in a tub that I could update later to add jets, but they didn’t do that. I spoke with the assistant manager about the problem, and he was nice but not interested in helping. I would not recommend them.

Reborn will not get another job from me. The Quality of their craftsmen, except of carpeting, is above average, but Reborn's ability to manage a job is extremely poor. A 10 day job (their estimate) took almost 3 months (No changes from me - just incompetence by them) They started the job without having all the parts. (lost 2 weeks waiting) They failed to run the job past engineers, suppliers, and building code to see if there were any flaws (Shower door couldn't use the glass they allowed to be selected, shower door deminsions requested were unacceptable per code and they said nothing until the day the door should have been installed) (another cpouple of lost weeks) They failed to provide a waterproof transition between the tile floor and the bedroom carpet as requested, even after it was called to their attention (their carpeting guy blew this one). They failed to keep tabs on when phases were complete. They failed to keep the customer (me) informed of any of the above problems until after they happened. I would not hesitate to use there craftsmen again, but next time I will select a competent prime contract who knows how to manage a job and puts the customer first - it is obvious that Reborn Cabinets is not up to the task.

Was very happy with Reborn Cabinets. Every employee that came out was extremely professional and did high qualityh work. My husband is VERY picky, and he was very pleased with the workmanship Reborn had an online portal with a Calendar, and they kept their scheduling pretty accurately. The company would call every evening before to confirm, and all workman were ready to work on-time. The only glitch, was when we had a minor issue with one of the panels, it took them a little while to rearrange schedules to get a person out to fix. We have all heard the horror stories of kitchen remodels, but ours went very smoothly. They are bit on the pricey side, however to us, it was worth a little extra for a smooth remodel.

We met the salesman he was very nice, we looked at samples and chose something we liked. We shared our concern that with only 1 bathroom , the job need to be completed on schedule. We also told. Them we suspected that there would be damage behind the tile and that we assumed that the wallboard behind the tile would need to be replaced. We also said we wanted all of the tile removed because the tiles were falling off the wall and we did not think the surround would adhere properly. We told them we did not want a single valve system because we were worried about water pressure. The salesman told us that we could buy a double valve system and they would install it but ithey would not warranty the work. Because of that we decided to go with the single valve system. We signed the contract and then the project manager was supposed to come out and measure, he sent someone else so the project manager never saw our house. The person who measured, indicated thAt they would not remove all of the tile, just 22 inches above the tub. We said no,that isnt what we were told. We had to call the sales man and had that conversation again and were assured that the tile would be removed. The bathtub we ordered did not come in the depth s we ordered, there were many frenzied phone calls, we were going to cancel the job. our issue was that we have a tiny bathroom . The project manager said he found a tub that would fit and he had ordered it We added a cabinet and hand rails......found out if you order additional stuff after the contract is signed they collect all of the new charge. They planned the install before the July 4th Holiday. The install was supposed to take 2 days so it should not have been an issue. They alway set their arrival times like the cable company, between 8 and 11, showing up at 11. The first day, we had the same discussion about removal of tiles and had to make more phone calls, they tried to charge us more to do the work and we had to call the salesman who called the project manager. They dont seem to talk to each other at all. We had to constantly remind them that we had only one bathroom. After our tub and shower and toilet was removed, we saw the material we had ordered, we did not know that the sample was on a backing board. The material was thin plastic, we called the salesman and ordered something else...of course that means we were now going to be without the bathroom for the week it would take to reorder something better. The first tub surround was installed a few weeks later, it looked nice but the shower water pressure was horrible. They installed the cabinet, it was beautiful. The fellow who did the cabinet. Took pictures of the tub and surround and we discussed how bad the water pressure was. We complained and did not feel like we were getting any one to listen. We called the project manager and anyone who would listen . They said if we bought a non low flow shower system they would install it. We were out shopping for the shower stuff and realized that we had spend 7000 on a shower and we were about to spend more and decided it was bulls/$&t. We went to angis list and found the owners phone number. He posted it when people complained....we tried more than once and could not reach him. We did finally get a call from someone else who came out and listened to our issues. They ended up redoing everything, This time they sent the master craftsman and he did a great job, discovering mistakes with the first install and replacing the single valve low flow system with the duel system we were told we could not have.. lWe hired them because we thought redoing the bathroom with tile would take too long. We thought 2 days would be fine. We started the job at the beginning of July and it was finished completely the first week in September. It looks nice now, but all of the crap in between has left us feeling stupid that we hired these people and spent as much as we did. The custom cabinet was perfect, matched perfectly to our existing vanity. The rest, looks nice but...we paid a lot for a job that took as long as this one did. They don't seem to communicate with each other, the project manager had few customer service skills and never visited the house. If we did not call the company owner , who knows when this would have been done. We wish we had never hired them.

They put in an extra flip down drawer under out sink for sponges. It did not last. It fell out and landed on somebody's foot. They sent out a young man to fix it. He told us that it may or may not last. Of course, it did not last. We tried to have them come out and fix it but we could never get ahold of the right person. Instead, we ended up gluing it shut. They then tried to solicit us for more business many times. I would not give them any more of my business since I was not satisfied with the service they already provided. They should have replaced the sponge holder at the beginning.

They did a good job. They was a lot of disruption in my household while they were performing the job. They did not handle and coordinate that very well. I have forgiven them since their work was good. I would use them again in the future.

I decided not to hire this company for a few reasons. The salesperson who came to my home tried a hard-sell approach, which I didn’t like. He told me I’d have to sign a contract that night in order to receive a special discount, and his quote wasn't comprehensive. If I wanted to have the cabinets painted, for example, that would've been additional money. I felt like there were a lot of add-ons. Also, he failed to actually show me their products. In the end, I found another provider who was a better fit.

I'd tell others not to use them and to check somewhere else. It was supposed to take weeks and it took months. The customer service was horrible. The finished product I guess is okay but the process of doing it was not worth it at all. It was so miserable. They were on time the days they came but they weren't not on time with getting the project done. We were painting our kitchen on Christmas Eve, that's how bad it was.

I spent too much money with Reborn Cabinets Inc. Company. I don’t think I would use them again. I liked them but they are way too overpriced. We have a small kitchen so I should have been charged less. They were very professional though. The work they did turned out to be nice.

Their quote was way above what I had budgeted. They had done a very good job on the kitchen cabinets. The workmanship on the kitchen remodel was good and they performed pretty much on schedule. They showed up pretty much on time. They had done a really good and job and that is why I went back for the estimate, but they are a little on the pricey side. All I can tell people is that you will get good work if you have got the money.

They were good. They do good work, but they are also expensive. Edit: The one thing about the granite poor grade, poor quality in the granite not the workmanship, but the product itself and they installed it the way it was so I would give them lower then a B, more like a D. And they would not come back to fix it. The girl in the office is very rude. The lady that helped us knew there was a problem with the granite, but she didn't stop it. She was the interior decorator and should have let us know ahead of time. She actually invited herself to dinner.

I had some discussions with them. We didn’t do any business with them because their prices were a little higher than the others. They quoted $80000. I liked that they had an established showroom and they had weekend events. They were very helpful in explaining how things worked and how to spot the differences in the materials used along with the services they offered. It was helpful for me to get an insight into the entire kitchen remodeling process. I got an insight on how to speak to a contractor, what to talk to the contractor about and what the contractor means when he uses certain words or terms. I also got an insight about the different features of a kitchen, the latest about remodeling information, what to look for and good cabinetry. Ultimately I didn’t end up using their services because their price was 3 or 4 times higher than the other services. In terms of their seminar, the willingness to share information and their knowledge were all very helpful. They were very responsive. I would probably not call them again for another quote because of their price.

Things were a bit rocky at first, but they recovered admirably. The first project manager was awful, but the company sent another manager, in his stead, that worked excellently. Ultimately, they did a wonderful job and completed the work on schedule.

The best thing about them was that they give you a time table about their work schedule. They were punctual and professional. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

They came to our home to do an estimate. We received the quote approximately 9 days later. Wow, were they overpriced. The sales associate stated everything is done in house and they do quality work on kitchen cabinets. They give you sales pitch stating their competitors quality is not up to par compared to them. I then research on google and better business bureu and found that they have many complaints from previous customers. Thank god I didn't have them do my kitchen or else I would have been ripped off and would probably be disappointed on the quality of their work.

Took much longer than anticipated, about 20% longer

They came to give an estimate but we needed to get other estimates. We are in the process of doing that. We aren't sure if we will use them because the price was too high but we might use them. We like the people but not the price.
