Nu Kitchens And Floors

First, I would say that the end results are very pleasing to me and my wife, but the time to do the work was not what we expected. A three and a half week period to complete the job during which had a total of six days where actual work was performed. Communication was almost totally one way. We had to call Nu Kitchens for everything; what work was scheduled to be done thatday, when was the work to be done, what time would the crew arrive, etc. Our original selection of cabinet color and style when needed for installation was suddenly on backorder with a two week wait for delivery. We had to select another cabinet that was available at this time. We were told it was a better cabinet with more features?? The next problem arose when when it was time to install the granite. We had selected two pieces of granite and they put our name on the pieces, buy when it was time to install it we were told the pieces we chose were lost! I had to immediately go to the granite warehouse and pick out two more pieces. Needless to say, I was totally frustrated by this time. The final part of the remodel went realtively smoothly, tile floor, appliance installation and final electrical. As I stated previously, the end results were excellent; the quality and workmanship was good, but I would not use this contractor again nor would I recommend them to anyone.

Job was completed in a timely matter and good value .
