Excellent Service as usual! Their manager David already helped coordinate a UV installation and repair at my desert condo, and I contacted him again and he sent his technician Kevin to add a UV light to my condo here in LA County, and I am very pleased with their services. I highly recommend!

They didn't finish the work and they don't have a permit. I've tried to work with the solution but they are not cooperating. We paid them $18,500 for 600 sq ft house

The communication was poor at the start. We had set an installation date and the crew never showed up. It has been 2 weeks since the AC has been "installed" and we have yet to have an inspector come by, even though that was part of the price. We tried using our AC system for the first time today and it did not work. Only blows out hot air. The company has been slow to respond to the situation, I can't seem to get in contact with anyone that can help. I do not recommend anyone use this company moving forward. Not to mention that they damaged our door trim, floors, ceiling, etc and didn't tell us about it. One of the vents was damaged on install and is bent. Not impressed with this company on any level...

NexGen is an absolute money grab and cannot be trusted. If I could give negative stars I would. They sent a tech over twice to “fix” the system and it continued to break. They sent a different tech and said the whole unit needed to be replaced. $12k later and the system sprung a leak two days after that caused water damage in the closet. The tech fixed the rookie error of the leak. But a day later the system wouldn’t turn on. Another day and another tech and they said they made the error of tripping the system when fixing the leak. Fast forward two days and the system is once again not cooling. 6 visits within a month and thousands of dollars later I’m back to square one in a heat wave in LA. Why in the world would I trust this company and pay thousands to continuously take PTO and move meetings for the system to keep breaking? This is outrageous. The only saving grace is their customer service. Do not trust Nexgen. Go with a different company

Arrived ahead of schedule and then tried to tell me that blowing out a 20 foot condensation run would be over $500. Then they tried for around $375. Then they tried to sell me some annual service package for $179. THEN after doing nothing but telling me crazy pricing for what I can manage with an air compressor or co2 line clearer for $40, they charged me $88. So no service provided, absurdly high quotes, and an $88 fee! AVOID

Although the reviews online were pretty good, I was hesitant in calling this company out, as they are a large company and my experience is that those types of companies overcharge. Well, this one is those companies. I had called Nexgen out to give a checkup on my office HVAC system, to make sure it is operational before I was to move out. They were to verify freon levels in the system, make sure all is operational, etc. The tech Jarett did not verify freon levels, or at least he didn't bother to note them on the report that I had paid them for. As a matter of fact, he did not even take the time to verify if I had an air filter, where it was located, or bother to have it changed out (as you can also see to be lacking from his report) What did he do? What is the Only thing that he did? He took it upon himself to up sell me on a new fan motor and capacitor (the capacitor is less than one year old). He shared that the fan motor was blowing at less than 40% capacity, but that was only what he had put on his report and hadn't actually done any type of airflow test to show this....because it was false. He also stated that the condenser cooling fan motor was bouncing all around, and included a video, but the video shows that there is no deflection with the fan motor. On his report, he noted that I (his client and the one paying his invoice) did not want to pay for his recommended repairs, and that they had no way to get a hold of the building owner, as the tenant was the one that had called them out. Excuse me? First off, the capacitor that he was trying to sell me was less than a year old and only cost $15.00 instead of the $342 that he was offering for a(nother) new one. Secondly, he was correct in that I had hired him to come out, and if I (his customer) didn't want to pay a 2,200% markup to repurchase something that was already brand new, then I am surely not going to trust anything else that he has to say. Thirdly, since I hired you, if I decide not to proceed with work, that is all that you need to note in the invoice. To gaslight that I was not proceeding with work that he had recommended, and that he wanted to get a hold of the building owner, but couldn't because they were not the ones that called you out.....well, that is just super shady. I am happy to share my experiences with all on the web though.

Unbelievably bad experience, no communication, install lots mistakes, got glue on our carpet and tiles floors, ran electrical cable to short, missed appointments, said they removed all old ducting then after we inspected, found they only removed half. We had to tear up our hallway to remedy. Overall, every time they promised something they did not deliver on the promise. You would talk with one person and they had no idea what the other person promised or said. we would never use this company again even if they offered the system for free. VERY FRUSTRATED IN SO CAL.

AVOID AVOID AVOID, bait and switch, zero integrity. Working with this company has been an absolute fiasco and nightmare for over a year. To begin I did what any smart consumer would do and got 5 quotes. Especially on a job of this size and magnitude. The salesman came to my house, looked me in the eye and said "we will match and beat anyone prices by 300 dollars". Well I liked the guy and gave him the benefit of the doubt and brought him an apples to apples quote beating him by about 2500.00. He proceeded to laugh at me and tell me good luck with my **** AC and got off the phone. This really bothered me so I wrote a negative review on yelp. Then and only then the owner reaches out to me letting me know they would beat it and basically said it was contingent on changing the review in so many words. By this point my wife was so bothered by the entire situation she said let's just wait. Fast forward and we're now wanting to have our AC installed at the price we were quoted. The owner decides to jack up the price based on an imaginary tariff rate that do not exist. Called him on the math and he’s become pretty ugly via emails. 100 percent dishonest company from top to bottom with money being the only thing they have in mind. Avoid them, or waste your time with salesman and owners who lie directly to you and try to bait and switch you hoping you're dumb enough to fall for it.

Since it was going to be a very hot week, and we had been trying to survive with an on again-off again system, they moved everything up to the next day. The service men (Jose and crew) were great!!

NexGen Palm Desert Air Conditioning and Heating Contractor Review NexGen was one of four air conditioning and heating contractors that we requested bids from to replace our existing HVAC system, which consisted of two three ton air conditioners and two gas furnaces. Sean Norman came out to our house and reviewed our current setup and asked questions about why we wanted to replace our systems. He noted that our existing air conditioners should still be under warranty and to have that checked out. He also noted the poor installation of our communications wire which was frayed from being out for years in the harsh desert sun. After reviewing our options and comparing bids one final time, we found that NexGen offered not only the best price but the best equipment, given our house size and being able to fit behind our existing outside wall. Sean made sure that our air conditioning units would not exceed the height limits set by our HOA. After giving NexGen the order, they found very attractive credit rates for us that were better than any of the other bidders. They gave us a senior discount of 5%, and a veteran discount of 5%. After the contract was signed, NexGen had a crew of five at our house the next day. They arrived as scheduled at 8am, and completely finished with the installation by 2pm. There was only one problem with the installation, which they fixed the next day, and they cleaned up and took all of our old equipment with them when they left. The city inspector reviewed the installation and signed off on our permit yesterday. He remarked on the quality of the furnace installation. So far, after three weeks of operation, our air conditioning and furnaces are working perfectly.

First off, let me say I normally do not make it a habit to write reviews on every company I do business with. Having said that, I do feel its important though to let others know that may be in the same position I was, to have a honest opinion of a company they may choose. My wife and I decided to purchase a new HVAC system for our home. The house was built in 1999 and therefore is now 18 years old. The system we had was a 4 ton Goodman which was not in desperate need for an entire replacement (AC, Coil and Furnace). We figured since we are getting older and could afford one now, to replace the system so as to not worry for the next two/three decades. Believe me, I did some research through Google, Yelp, Angie's List and word of mouth. I had several companies come out, all with a different manufacturer that they use. Goodman, Rheem, York, Lennox and Carrier. I was about to pick one, when I said heck I don't have a representative from Trane. I called Nexgen as they listed they also service the Murrieta area. I initially talked with their GM Sean Norman. I was not a very friendly call, as quite frankly I was tired of all the sales pitches and information that I had received. So, basically I told Sean go ahead and have someone come over, but believe me I know what I want and am not interested in sales pitches. Sean, said ok not problem, and had someone who was in the near area stop by later that evening. Michael Amodeo is one of their Project Managers and stopped buy to give us information on their product; Trane. He was not only very knowledgeable, but very trustworthy and straight forward. Those of us from the east coast appreciate this kind of communication, basically here it is... without all the pitches... He not only told us to do research but, check out reviews of not only their company, but the product as well. That's confidence not only in the company he represented, but the product line as well. I did the research and found out that most of the individuals that came out to see me were telling me the truth about their product. But, the major difference was not only Michaels knowledge and honesty, but the simple fact that the product he suggested (Trane) was without doubt the absolute best. And, the company not only with honest with hardworking employees, but also had a very successful product line as well. This is mainly due to their owner Ismael Valdez's total commitment in building long lasting customer/vendor relationships, through honesty, integrity and hard work. My wife and I made our decision and went with Nexgen... The installation which is VERY important, went very smoothly as Michael said it would. Jose (Crew Leader), Jesus and Peter were very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They kept the area clean and picked up every scrap thus ensuring the area was left in pristine condition. TRUST ME... Go with Nexgen and their Trane product line. Both are the best. If you want to talk to me personally, I'm in the book. Scott Richards

Jeff gave me a fair price, and the job was done the very next day – a Saturday. The installers: Juan, Walter, Daniel, and Armando were right on time, very polite, and did such a great job that even the city inspector was impressed with their work. The receptionist, Janelle, was very organized and helpful.

Great. Called and was given the price within 2 hours. It was installed within the next 2 hours.

They were excellent. The cost was very good. They were clean and efficient. The workers are very good. I don’t really have any complains. It was just a very nice job, well done and very well priced.

They crew came and worked very hard non stop to get the job done SAME DAY! They crew explained to me how to work my t-stat and new syste. I am a very happy client! I would recommend these guys any day!

I would use them again. As a mechanical engineer, who is highly critical of anyone's product and workman ship, I give them an A. I did a full HVAC replacement and had new Trane furnace installed in the attic and 5-ton condenser outside. One the first day, the brought a team of five people to remove the old system and install a new one. Took a day to complete the work, with some follow up patch work the next day. I have had their system install for two year and it is working great still. I am very satisfied. Just a note, Custom Comfort, Mike Diamond and other HVAC companies wanted to charge $18,000 for the same work.
