Great company to work with. We had most of our windows replaced two years ago and finished the remainder of our windows last week. Both times everything went great.

They did a great job installing 4 new windows for us at a good price. They were respectful, great professionals the windows look real good they even made sure to clean up for themselves.

They gave excellent service. The work was very high quality and they exceeded my expectations.

Installation went very well. Metropolitan offered the same sliding glass door as a competitor on Angie's List, but for $1000 less and without the sales pressure. I will use them again!

It went great. It did take two days, but they did not leave a mess. Randy and his crew are polite and worked fast, didn't take break until lunch time. The Windows I ordered from Gary are already saving me money on the summer AC costs. Are upstairs bedrooms are not hot in the afternoon anymore. I highly recommend MHI for their price and quality.

I can't say enough good things about this experience. The price, the people, the quality... if there was a rating better than A, I'd gladly give it. The owner came out to do the estimate and measurements. I flat out told him I was shopping for the best price and had already had two other companies out to provide estimates. Well they were lucky #3. He gave me a cash or credit card option to offer me savings in top of the best price and a very good quality window and door. The schedule for installation was set up and I was able to correspond over text message and email, which is easiest for me. I had to pay a small amount down which was nice as well. I believe you should pay for work when completed and I did just that. The crew, led by Perry, arrived late but called me to say they were stuck in traffic, which was much appreciated. They got right to work and I'd didn't have to hang around (I have a 3 yr old) we checked in periodically and they kept me up to date. The installation went flawlessly and Perry even took time to show me how to operate the windows/doors. They even re-installed the brackets for my blinds at no extra charge since we had to take out the blinds for the install. My husband appreciated this extra special feature so he could just come home and enjoy the new windows and doors. They beat the big box stores in price as well as a local window company in Thousand Oaks. Called these guys up to replace 4 windows from our new home. Everything was real easy to set up and they did a real good job the windows look very nice and it was all done at a good price as well. We would recommend this company to anyone.

From the initial sales visit to the installation everything went as planned. The installers did a great job and the windows look fantastic inside and out. I was concerned about lead paint exposure because my house was built in 1948 and I have two children under the age of 6. It wasn't an issue and the house was cleaner after they performed their installation.

The initial replacement (via a pre-purchase through Angie's List) went really well. However, after multiple contacts after the service to try to get more work done, I couldn't get the company to follow through. Even though there was more business on the line for them, I couldn't get them to come through.

Gary came and gave us a quote. I requested quotes from 2 other window companies, but Gary was the only person who explained clearly what kind of windows will be installed. He also brought a brochure of the windows and doors that was really informative. The custom windows were constructed within his proposed lead time and the installers arrived on the date as promised. They arrived late but it was because of the Comic Con event traffic so I feel that it was not their fault. The installers completed the job very quickly on time. I am extremely happy with their service.

Perry was our consultant that assisted my family in the whole process in purchasing and installers of our ho. The company did excellent work. The service provider came from over 80 miles. Came with samples and listened to our needs and the price was very exceptional, beating everyone else's price. The installers were very good and professional. During the install one of the windows broke and was replaced in a timely manner. The windows have a lifetime warranty, I called when one of the window broke and they replaced that window under the lifetime warranty with no charge to me. The quality is exceptional. I recommend this company for service and product very highly.

The guys were wonderful very polite and respectful. They replaced a couple of our windows at a good price and the windows look beautiful. I wouldn't hesitate to call this company again for more window replacements.

It went real good just needed a few of our windows replaced and decided to just get the sliding door done as well. These guys are real professionals they know what they are doing. The windows look real good and the sliding door does as well. I would've loved to see the price a little lower but it's tough to complain when the job done was done real good. If we ever feel the need to get the other windows replaced we'll call these guys again there's no need to look else where.

Garry and his team did a great job. Garry was very informative, communicated regularly and was on time. His installation team was efficient, clean, and thorough. The arrived on time, got started right away and was done in a very reasonable time frame. They paid attention to the details inside and outside, and did a beautiful job in installing my windows. The quality of the windows are great, and made in America! I would use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase new windows.

In all fairness, i did not have any service done by Metropolitan. I thought Greg (the President) really knew what he was talking about and I was looking forward to getting an estimate and working with them. However, Greg never delivered an estimate and stopped responding to email on a project that has priced elsewhere at $25k. If I did that in my business I would be shot. I normally wouldn't take the time to write a review but I think some accountability through sites like this is helpful to others and brings up the quality of service. I think this business is too saturated right now to provide good service. [Update: Gary reached out and have an estimate in hand. Sounds like we had a missed exchange so appreciated his follow up.] {Update: Gary responded to the initial negative review and then disappeared. If you expect any remote level of responsiveness, I'd steer clear.]

Although no services were performed, Gary was extremely helpful to me to troubleshoot a window installation issue I was confronting in two bathroom remodeling jobs. He called me back within less than five minutes and spent time with me on the phone trying to figure out whether we might find a solution based on the awkwardly small size of the current windows.

Great contractors, would definitely recommend and use again if ever needed! Really friendly, clean, and fast! A+ all around.

The quality of the work was subpar. The window frame was damaged on the outside, and they took an old window we asked them to leave with us.

Crew arrived on time, and proceeded to get the job done in about 4 hours even though the weather was dismal and drizzling. They removed the old windows, installed the new windows, even took out an old "window shaker" a/c unit and had it disposed of, after patching the stucco where the bracket had left holes. They did clean up pretty good, but left a few scraps of jagged sheet metal in the grass which I fortunately found before any damage was done. Great job at a good price, although I'm not quite sure how the $500 discount applied to the final price. I'll definitely use them again to replace my massive living room windows, if I happen to hit a $5000 scratcher or lotto ticket.

wEverything thing went exactly as planned to date. I met with Gary and one other gentleman who gave me some arrangement options, a nice rundown on the windows they recommended along with a very competitive price. There was absolutely no high-pressure sales tactics or up-selling. A few days later I called Gary back and we executed a contract over email. A few days later I got a call with a time and date. Gary's guys showed up exactly when they said they would and got the job done right on time. Maybe even a little early. They were very professional. I was working on my laptop two open rooms away and barely noticed they were here. The place was cleaner when they left then when they got here. And the windows look great, which is the best part. I haven't received follow-up reciepts/warranty information yet, but I also haven't emailed asking for it. But overall, absolutely no complaints. Just hope if there are any issues in the future they go as smoothly as the sale and install. Have a feeling it will.

Windows were installed. All work was done well. One year later we noticed some dirt on the between the sheets of glass on one of the windows. It appears to be mold or bacteria. I called the company several times, never able to speak to a person. I left a detailed message every time with my phone number and never got a return call. On my copy of the invoice it mentions that a manufacturers warranty will be sent to me. I don't remember receiving it.

Arrived on time. Very pleasant. Finished early. Cleaned up. Helped me return things to normal before they left.
