Mesa Garage Doors

The sales person was wonderful, prompt, professional and very encouraging. The day of the installation the crew determined that they did not have the right materials (due to bracing needs of this particular garage) and had to reschedule. After a second and third installation appointments (of which we took time from work to be at home) where the crew, again, could not do the job, we canceled the contract. While I understand mistakes can occur, Mesa was very difficult to deal with in correcting their mistake (the original sales person misjudged the job), was rude and did not want to return the deposit. Mesa only cooperated after I stated that I would file a complaint with the better business bureau. Lastly, no one in charge at Mesa would call me back or speak to me; rather, they let the crew captain or customer service representative (who always referred me to the business rep or other). My conclusion is to go with a local company with better service.

Overall it was a good experience. They showed up on time when they said they would and they cleaned up well when they were finished. If needed, I would hire them again for future service.

Mesa's representative, Jim Chambers, came out promptly and gave us an estimate on the spot. We signed off on the venture and then the wait began. The door was almost 3 weeks late from the date given to us, which held up our 'move' back into our garage. The install was not worth the money. The workers were sloppy and left puncture holes in the ceiling and ran all the wires stapled to the ceiling. The 'topper' to this experience is that after the door was installed, we noticed the window pains were all skewed and needed to be removed and reinstalled. Additionally, there are gaps under the left and right sides of the door, which let water and debris into the garage!!! It's 3 months later and the door is still not fixed properly. This has been one big headache and game of phone tag. Mesa needs to care a little more and inspect its work before the installations happen. We should have used another company. Their representatives, if they call you back, offer no solutions and no recourse.

Quotation process was fine; work was scheduled within a week. We did not do our homework and later concluded that we had overpaid. Workers arrived on time. Our quote indicated that they were to cut back the shelving inside the garage, but they interpreted what was written in the quote to mean that we were supposed to have performed that task ourselves. They called their office and confirmed that they were to do the work. Job took 4-5 hours, was performed efficiently and the final result was excellent.

The installation was fine. However - the installers did NOT remove the old door, despite that being part of the standard contract. Instead, they left the door sitting in my back yard. I have since made numerous phone calls to request that the old door is hauled away - I have had two dates promised and then completely ignored. I've also left voicemails for the service manager that were never returned. The customer service for Mesa is truly appalling.

Improper installation, door fell on car. Garage opener was too powerful for door (Liftmaster). Had about 30 workers out to fix problem never resolved.

I contacted three Garage Door companies and ONLY Mesa returned my call and did so the same day. They set an appt for the following day. It was important so they came as early as possible. The office person called later in the day to say the service man would arrive between 8 and 9 a.m. On the dot of 8 Tony arrived. He was personable and explained what needed to be done NOW and what might need to be done in the future. He did the work we agreed on...he said I needed to do a certain thing every 2-3 months and showed me exactly how to do it. He was great and I was more than pleased with his/their service.

Mesa sends out a representative to checkout out the installation site and take measurements to assure that the garage door installation goes smoothly and to provide a price quote. They offer garage doors that have lifetime warranties on the door coating and no-cost repairs for accidental breakage of the door windows. They offer two types of automatic garage door openers, the standard chain type and a super quiet belt-driven model. The garage doors come in several standard colors. Our almond garage door was readily available and the installation was completed within one week. The installation team was very efficient and knowledgeable with this type of installation. They removed and disposed of the old garage door and left the installation site very clean.

Their service was great. They showed up on time, the work was detailed and they didn't try to up sell me. They are just great to work with.

The salesman came on time to the appointment, offered many options and negotiated a fair price,(not the first one he quoted) favorably comparable to other estimates we got. The installers came when scheduled and did a professional job of installation. They determined that a wooden frame around the existing frame, as recommended by the salesman, was not needed, and deducted the item from the total price quoted. They demonstrated the working of the door and made sure we understood how to open, close, etc. They were fast, neat and knowledgeable. Shortly after they left a loud noise started (skidding). We call the companys number and within 2 hours a tech arrived who fixed the problem and encouraged us to call again if we had any more trouble. We are very pleased with quality of the product and especially the service.

They did a great job installing the system. They matched and beat another company's price.

On time, polite and left the area very neat.

They were reasonably priced, except the salesperson showed me a sample of the Gold series door with insulation and thought insulation was included in the price. They did not mention that it was extra. They did an excellent job in installing the doors and opener. They also left everything clean right after. They missed their appt. time for my estimate, saying it was a clerical error. They were suppose to call the morning they were to arrive to give me an estimated time. I ended up calling them by the afternoon. They came 20 minutes after I called.

On-time arrival, professional work done quickly, and at the lower range of the estimate. Work was just done today, so we will see if this fix was sufficient over time, but we are very happy.

RJ was the salesman who came out to give me an estimate. We discussed needs and he not me opted for the lower end door using my exisiting motor. Noted minor added costs to move motor, resize and reinforce door which seemed perfectly logical. OK'd job and three days later door was installed perfectly. Received thank you from owner plus written guarantee. Very easy to deal with. In fact general contractor doing work across the street came over and got a brochure and RJ's business card.

The company was very professional. They came on time and I have been happy with the work performed. The garage door seems to be holding up well with no problems

THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS RIGHT ON TIME. THEY QUICKLY REMOVED THE OLD DOOR AND BEGAN INSTALLATION OF THE NEW DOOR AND OPENER. THEY BOTH WORKED BEAUTIFULLY. THE AREA WAS CLEANED BEFORE THE CREW LEFT. I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THE DOOR OR OPENER.

THE JOB WAS PERFORMED IN A TIMELY MANNER. THE NEW DOOR IS GOOD QUALITY AND MATCHED THE COLOR OF MY EXTERIOR HOUSE TRIMS. IT SAVES SOME SPACE AND ALSO CLOSED AIR TIGHT TO AVOID DUST/DIRT COMING IN.

THE COMPANY WAS PROFESSIONAL. THEY HAD THE JOB COMPLETED IN A TIMELY MANNER. THEY CLEANED UP AL THE WINDOWS AND MESS. THEY WERE COMPETITIVELY PRICED AND KNOWLEDGEABLE IN THEIR AREA.

IT WAS REAL GOOD. I GOT GOOD SERVICE. WE WENT TO A VERTICAL GARAGE DOOR INSTEAD OF THE WOOD GARAGE DOOR. IT KEEPS THE TERMITES AWAY. THEY WERE ON TIME, AND THEY CLEANED UP BEHIND THEMSELVES.

GOOD, NO-HASSLE INSTALLATION, APPEARS TO BE OF GOOD QUALITY. SALESMAN WAS PROFESSIONAL. THE CREW WAS GOOD, EXPERIENCED, NO-NONSENSE. I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED THAT THEY PAINT THE RAW WOOD USED INSTALLATION.

THE DOORS ARE TOP OF THE LINE AND THE BEST PRICE IN TOWN. AFTER DOING COMPARISON SHOPPING THIS COMPANY IS THE ONE TO GO WITH. THE PERSON DOING THE INSTALLATION WAS ON TIME AND CONSCIENTIOUS. HE SHOWED US HOW TO PROGRAM OUR CAR'S INTERNAL REMOTE WITH OUR GARAGE DOOR OPENER. HE HAULED AWAY THE OLD DOOR AT NO ADDITIONAL COST.

FIRST CONTACTED AND MEASUREMENTS TAKEN. SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS AND BUILD OUTS HAD TO BE PUT INTO PLACE TO RETRO FIT ODD SIZE DOORS. WORKMAN ARRIVED ON TIME AND WORKED IN A NEAT AND TIMELY FASHION. REPLACED OLD DOORS (3-CAR) GARAGE WITH NEW WHITE VINYL AND WINDOWS. OPENERS WERE ALSO REPLACED.

MESA GARAGE DOOR SHOWED UP AND TOOK THE OLD ONE WITHIN AN HOUR DID A GREAT JOB. THIS WAS IN LA COUNTY AS THEY USE A CONTRACTOR FOR THE VALLEY. MY FRIEND HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THEIR CONTRACTOR, THAT'S WHY I BRING IT UP. ALSO, MESA WAS VERY SLOW TO CALL HIM BACK AND FIX THE PROBLEM. TO BE FAIR THE RATING IS MY EXPERIENCE AND NOT MY FRIENDS. MESA'S WINDOWS CONTRACTOR WAS EXCELLENT. JOHN MILLER SHOWED UP ON TIME AND DID A GREAT JOB INSTALLING THE WINDOWS.

I LIKE THE QUALITY OF THEIR PRODUCT, THE DEPENDABLE SERVICE, AND THE COMPETITIVE PRICING. THEY ARE ALL GREAT WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY CLEAN AS THEY GO AND ARE NEAT AND TIDY. THEY'RE VERY RESPECTFUL OF MY PROPERTY.
