They were very good and very informative. The workers were very pleasant and very nice. I would recommend them.

The young man was clean, his car was clean and he arrived on time. As it turns out the previous owner of my condo must have tried to clean the vent with a shopvac because the vent wasn't just clogged with lint the extension hose of the shop vac was stuck deep into the vent. What should have only taken 20 minutes turned out to be about an hour and a half because the young man never gave up. He was determined to pull that stuck pipe out and he worked at it until he did it. I am very happy with the services of the Mighty Ducts and will definitely use them again if need be.

I called two of the contractors closest to me that were highly rated on Angie's List. We selected Mighty Ducts to do the work. After listening to my description of our issues Andreas Laux (owner) asked enough questions to gain a complete understanding of our needs and explained how he would address the issue. He then provided an verbal estimate which included the cost for the remediation company he used for removing the old asbestos ducts. He followed with an emailed copy. Of the two contractors we got estimates from, we selected Mighty Ducts because of the completeness of the estimate process and the feeling that he understood what we expected. Price was not a factor since both contractors were within $100 of each other. Andreas and his crew arrived on time and completed their work in a professional and clean manner. They answered any questions I had during the process and had me with them when they checked their work. Andreas stuck to the estimate and also took the time to check our AC coolant. We are very happy with the work and are considering using Mighty Ducks for a modification to our system.

Mighty Ducts did an excellent job for us!!! I first met the owner Andreas at our house for an estimate on the duct cleaning and furnace replacement for our new home. Andreas is very knowledgeable about duct cleaning/HVAC and he clearly explained his services. He submitted the quotes to us via email the next day. The air duct cleaning quote seemed a little higher than some "bargain" ads I have seen but I believe he does more than the average company. He did give me several discounts to help lower the cost. I also felt very comfortable with Andreas' knowledge and his process. We scheduled the service the following week after all painting, tile and carpet work was complete. Andreas himself came to do the work with his assistant. He was on-time and spent a few minutes answering all of my questions. The service took about 5 hours because we have many vents and two separate furnace/AC systems. They did a great job cleaning all ducts and vents. The process keeps all dirt and dust out of the house. There was a little paint chip debris from the vents which was completely cleaned-up as they worked. They also wore shoe covers in the house at all times. When they were done we could not tell they had been there. They also cleaned the furnaces and the cabinets around the furnace. We have one furnace with the water heater in an exterior closet on the side of the house. This closet was full of debris (leaves, dirt, etc) left by the previous owner. Andreas took the time to completely vacuum this area. He inspected both furnace and AC units. There were some wiring issues with the furnace that Andreas found and corrected. It seems that past maintenance was not done well and Andreas corrected it. Andreas noted that the coolant pressure was low and offered to add coolant to the system. There was an additional charge but he first completely explained why we should do it and how much more it would cost. Throughout the process I was working on the house (new blinds, etc) and I would occasionally check on the process. Andreas was always happy to explain what they were doing and answer my questions. Andreas and his assistant were very polite and friendly with me, my wife and my two young daughters. I know that we got a good value for our money and I have no doubt about the quality of work they did. It is comforting to work with someone who is clearly knowledgeable about his trade and is dedicated to providing the best possible service. When we are ready to replace our furnace later this year I will seriously consider going with Andreas/Mighty Ducts. I also plan to use him for our ongoing annual furnace and AC maintenance. I highly recommend Mighty Ducts!!!

They were originally scheduled to come between 12:00 and 2:00 but Marie called me in the morning and asked if it would be okay if they came later between 3:00 and 5:00 because they had an emergency installation that morning. She said they would give me a 5% discount for the inconvenience which they did. The time change was fine with me. Matt called when he was on his way to give me a time estimate of when he would be at my house. He arrived pretty quickly from the time he called. He was very nice and went right to work and answered all of my questions. I am going to call them again soon to clean out my air ducts.

I was very pleased with their professionalism and respect for my home (e.g., they wore shoe covers and vacuumed where they had worked when they were done). I have already referred others to Mighty Ducts !

They haven't done anything. I don't remember what they quoted me at the time for the service, but it was reasonable. They seemed knowledgeable.

I called and spoke with a very pleasant women on the phone. She explained how the duct cleaning was done, answered questions that I had, gave me an estimated price and then scheduled the appointment. Andres (the owner) and his assistant showed up promptly at the scheduled time. They were both pleasant and friendly and answered the questions I had. Then they got right to work. They completely cleaned the air ducts, furnace and dryer vent and even did some minor repairs at no additional cost. Andres pointed out some problem areas that will need to be addressed in the future, but did not push to up-sell the job. The final price was exactly as quoted. Overall, I was very impressed with Mighty Ducts. They were prompt, polite and competent. I'd not only hire them again, I've already requested an estimate on some other work. I'd absolutely recommend them to anyone.

it seemed like a straightforward job. the bid was low. he promised an excellent air filter. after i discovered that he just used drywall to make the chaise and that there was no metal duct inside, and when i discovered a cavity duct was not what i wanted, he became upset that we did not have a clear understanding of the scope of work to be performed. i relented, since he promised that 70 percent of all households have cavity ducts and that this was normal. But i came to find out that he did not seal it properly. The chaise made from drywall is illegal in new homes as i was told by another contractor. The filter did not cover all the air going through. I could smell the inside of the house. i had to hire someone else to make a metal duct and the smell went away. i will have to replace the drywall chaise as well, so all the work will have to be redone right. i will NOT be using angie's list in the future. they do not screen well enough.

They arrived on time, were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They did their work quickly and then cleaned everything up and went on thier way. I would not hesitate to receommend them. The only downside was I did not realize how many vents we had and they charge by the number of vents so the total cost was more then I expected.

I originally called Mighty Ducts to clean my air ducts since I was experiencing asthma attacks and it was suggested by my doctor. They came out to clean my ducts and notified me that they couldn't complete the job because the ducts had been damaged and were leaking badly, losing as much as 30% of my heat into the attic. He said he couldn't fix them because they contained asbestos and needed to be replaced. He gave me an estimate on replacing the ducting and I also asked him to include replacing the 40 year old furnace. He encouraged me to get other estimates, which I did. The other companies confirmed the findings of mighty duct without me prompting them. Since his estimate was the best and his reviews in Angies List were great I went with him. Mighty Ducts contracted with a licensed asbestos removal company to remove all ducts and evidence of asbestos. He then installed a larger 4 ton unit which is rated at 95% efficient. He also replaced all ducting and included better vent covers than the existing ones. He showed us how to use the programmable thermostat and tested the unit for proper function and airflow in all of the rooms. He also ordered a more efficient HEPA filter and returned to install that a month later for no extra charge. He again tested the unit for proper function. His installation included 1 year service. Since installation our gas bill has been reduced by 25% from last years bills and the unit now heats all rooms evenly. I would definitely use Mighty Ducts again. He explained all of his steps in an open and above board way that gave me confidence that I was getting what I expected. I feel I got more than what I expected.

At first the company told me that they did not service our area but then they called back and said they would come out here because of my Angie's List membership. Everything went well and the job was done quickly. They arrived on time and got the job done within 20 minutes. They replaced the plastic duct out of the dryer with the flexible metal one at no cost. They were easy to work with. Now laundry dries in a reasonable time-- a fraction of what it was taking before.

Don't even bother with anyone else, folks, these are the guys who set the OC standard, both from a service and cost perspective. Andreas and Matt showed up on time, did an inspection of all the ducts and got right to work. They noticed how shoddy the previous contractors' work had been and pointed out gaps where my attic air and dust were coming into the house where hoses were left unattached. They went above and beyond the scope of work they were hired to do by fixing my ducts and nailing them properly in place, cleaning the vent screen in my bathroom - all this work was on top of the thorough cleaning they did on the actual vents/ducts and furnace. I will hire them again, no question, and soon, as I need some additional AC work to get everything up to code. They rock!!

It went very well. They were very punctual (even early), I was able to schedule at convenient time for me. The pricing was fair. There are 12 vents in my house. He explained what was going on with my furnace and was able to repair it, so I will no longer have difficulty with my heating (my furnace is 30 years old). Andreas is the name of the gentleman who came out and did the work. I think it is a family business. It was great.

Andreas and Matt arrived right on time. Andreas began thorough inspection of the ducts in the attic and underneath the house immediately and made proper reccomendations before cleaning. Andreas also inspected the AC/Heating unit as it was giving us trouble. The team did quite a bit of troubleshooting and solved the problem without any additional charges. I will use and highly reccomend this company to anyone. They were professional, good humored and dedicated to the high quality of their work.

Delightful experience from beginning (calling Marie to discuss system and set up a time) to end (Andreas and Matt doing to the actual work). These guys were friendly, responsive and on time (early even)! The cleaning itself went smoothly with Andreas explaining what was going on throughout the process (not only what they were doing and why, but what they found at each step and how they were going to deal with it). The initial inspection revealed a few potential issues (when the heating system in our house was updated years ago from a gravity system, the old ducts were disconnected but not removed from the basement leaving very little visibility). Andreas and Matt worked around this (crawling over old ducts, etc.) to reconnect a few new ducts that had disconnected and patching partial disconnects. They tested the suction at each vent, did the cleaning itself very efficiently, reinstalled the grates (the removal of which was challenging given the layers of paint), changed the filter, sanitized the whole system and waited to make sure the system was working efficiently after the cleaning, all within a few hours. Andreas also gave us his recommendations on what could be done to update the system (remove the old asbestos ducting, suspend the ducting (they are now sitting on the basement floor - awesome for rain and rodents), put in a new filtration system, etc.) but there was no hard sell at all. He also left specific instructions on the what type of replacement filter we would need to get for the return in a few months. These guys were great and we will be using them again if we do decide to update our system.

Andreas (the owner) & Matt arrived the week before just to do a duct cleaning. They showed us the inside of a duct & told us that the old ducts had no plastic lining as they should...instead there was just fiberglass...now black from use. They quoted us a reasonable price & the next day we booked them for 12/10. They arrived on-time, were very professional, as well as friendly & completed the job as scheduled. They cleaned up their working sites very well & returned anything they had moved back where it belonged. I would not hesitate to recommend Mighty Ducts.....from the phone conversations with their office to dealing with Andreas & Matt, it was outstanding service for a reasonable price. I chose them based on their Angie's List ratings & once again Angie's List came thru. The best outcome of all is that we are now breathing clean air!!

This was the best experience we ever had in dealing with a service company! The owner, Andreas, and his assistant, were very friendly and courteous. We were quite impressed with their professionalism. They arrived on time ready to tackle the cleaning of our very dirty air ducts. Everything was explained in detail. They laid down a large tarp to protect the carpet. The entire inside of the furnace compartment was thoroughly cleaned. They had a super high powered 500 lb. vaccuum system to clean out all the air ducts. They were also sanitized. They put a new air filter in the furnace. All the vent covers were removed and cleaned. When they finished, they left the area spotless. We will definitely hire this company again in the future, and we highly recommend them.

Owner of Mighty Ducts and his two assistants arrived on time. Owner first discussed the scope of the job with homeowner's visiting parents to clarify everyone's understanding. After protecting the homeowner's property with floor coverings and booties, contractor proceeded to complete the duct and dryer cleaning. Special precautions were also taken to protect the wall paint from chipping around vent coverings. Main air filter was cleaned and replaced. A long brushlike, rotating tool was inserted into each of the seven room vent opening (and the dryer vent) to dislodge dust/debris from each duct. Dryer's flexible ducting and electrical connection was restored in better condition than originally found. Mighty Ducts' owner also correctly assessed and informed homeowner's parents of faulty duct work in the attic, gave us an estimate, and had all ductwork repairs completed by assistant, Andy, that same day! All systems (dryer, A/C, and furnace) are now working efficiently...and the indoor air is cleaner. Everyone is happy.

The team was very friendly and productive. They arrived right on time, checked out the ducts and quickly begun cleaning. They explained everything before the did it and made sure we didn't have any concerns. They also double checked our central air filters and discovered we had the wrong size. We were very happy to have hired them. It was a pleasure to have them.
