8 hr. and two guys showed up a bit late. Very nice, clean and went through all the work I had for them. Issue was really that they were not overly skilled for the work. They were able to paint bathroom but were a bit sloppy for my taste leaving residual paint on tiles, mirrors, drips on lights, etc. Partially completed grouting repair task but must not have understood the request to regrout all tiles and seal problem areas along windows and floors. Essentially spent a good chunk of time removing/cleaning temporary tub seal tape on tub and ran out of time to do anything else. Replaced kitchen sink faucet but 2 days later it is lose and I"m having to fix on my own. Not a bad experience but the "skilled" part was not quite there.

The Handycrew handyman was great. He arrived on time and only took 45 minutes to remove the old fan and install the new fan. He was neat and very courteous. Would definitely use this company again.

Gustavo was very pleasant to work with, he showed up on time, listened to what I wanted to accomplish and worked efficiently all day to accomplish each item on my list. I was very pleased with the results at the end of the day!

It went great. We had an Angie's List coupon for 8-hours of handyman service for $349ish. Gustavo was knowledgeable and approachable. What would've taken us weeks to repair, Gustavo repaired with confidence so quickly. We never thought we'd get through the entire list! He amazed us. Any task he could tackle with grace. We're very impressed with his skills! He was worth much more than we paid.

All replacements requested were left unfufilled and damages were painted instead of repaired. The one replacement ( door bell) was not the requested type of material. The panel which was purchased to use for replacement was damaged. When he was questioned about why the job was done so poorly, he said the house was for sale.

Great - arrived on time and replaced ceiling fans and remote controls. The owner is so nice and helpful that he is a pleasure to do business with. Anne G.

Great. Francisco was prompt, extremely pleasant, and cleaned up every spec of dust and took out every bit of trash left from the jobs. Look forward to using this service again soon.

This was a $119 big deal purchase. I don't remember the name but I remember the name of the electrician that came out. They got the work done but it took, probably, three visits. Like, they did the work and then something else broke. They came back out and claimed that wasn't part of the op original thing. I have an older house with wiring and they fixed one thing but then they broke something else. An outlet was broken so they fixed that outlet, but then he knocked out a whole wall side of other outlets. They came back and said it was not part of the original deal so they charged me again for that. So they fixed that and then something else got knocked out so they came back. I paid it because I understood what they are saying. What I probably should have done was have him come and assess everything. They just came in an piecemealed the broken outlet and stuff. I don't really fault them it is just that I probably wouldn't use them again.

They give you a low cost item and then give you a bid of $500 for the work to be done. It is like a bait and switch. They just want to get in the door. It is a waste of time because you have to wait and wait. They should be up front about the pricing.

The deal said "a Kitchen or Bathroom Design Consultation with 3-D Renderings." The level of service provided was shoddy. I wouldn't even call it "a design consultation". They just sent someone to give me a simple quote. As it was supposed to be a consultation, they should have provided some basic ideas and guided me through the process. In my opinion, it was nothing like that. Also, 3-D rendering was a joke. It was like a very simple drawing hastily prepared upon request. Perhaps I expected too much for the price I paid. All in all, it was a disappointing experience. In the future, I'd avoid this kind of deals in general from Angie's list.

Pro: Prompt for appointment. Offered suggestions for bathroom remodeling project I described. 3D image was so-so. Cons: Verbally offered a price which I think was rather misleading, and did not provide documentation of what was and was not included. Quoted a price for attic cleanup and installation of new insulation which was extremely high (2x the next highest estimate) and pressured me to accept it.

Juan was very professional and honest in his assessment of what he could and could not. We had called him out initially to fix leaking coming from our upstairs sliding glass door when it rains, causing the rain to soak the inside carpet floor. But after looking at the door frame he stated that we would be better off calling a door installer as the frame of the slider did not look to be installed correctly and he did not have the right tools or parts to do a good job on it that would ultimately fix the problem. He did clean out the tracks of the slider for me which would help to allow the rain that gather there to flush outside more easily which I appreciated. Since that is a project that we had wanted to be taken care of above all else and he could not help us with it, he stated that he would not charge us for coming out and doing what he could if we did not want to use his service for anything else. I really appreciated his honesty and that he did not try to just fix it haphazardly which would probably not fix the problem and then charge us. He probably fixes about 11 different items in and around the house in a very timely manner and I ran out of items for him to do with time to spare that day! I would defiantly use this service again.

This was my first experience with Angie's List. I have to say the company was very responsive and replied quickly to my phone and email inquiries. Aldo arrived at the scheduled time and was very professional. Work was completed quickly, I would recommend this company to others.

I am scheduled for an "open house" on Saturday Jan 23 and discovered th problem on Thursday Jan 21 morning. Nir at Home Pro Services agreed to try to fit me in with their busy schedule and sent Francisco to take care of my problem. He arrived a little ahead of the appointed time and about 30 - 45 minutes later had my doors closing like new. Francisco did a great job and Nir was very helpful in addressing my last minute request. Highly recommended.

The communication between the person that did the quote and the guys that actually did the job was definitely lacking. They didn't know what the project was or what was included in the original quote. I was told the job would take a day and a half at most. I took two days off work. Then a 3rd day was needed. I had to take another day off work. I was told the guy would call me an hour before he was coming over so I spent the whole day at home or close to it. He never called or showed up. I had a note left on my door on a Sunday when I wasn't home. I get a call from the owner saying we needed to reschedule. He stated I should have called him to confirm the guy would be able to come the 3rd day. I'm not sure why that would have even crossed my mind, but apparently that was my fault. I am happy with the work but I would not go with this company again. I paid more than the quote and wasted a lot of my time with no apparent concern from the owner.

Didn't choose them with them due to their lack of responsiveness.

He was excellent, fast and professional. They're an A+. I would absolutely use them in the future.

Both guys worked hard and were very pleasant and respectful.

Awesome would rehire no probelm

The specials had a variety of skills. I needed out of the ordinary services, and he was able to complete all of the jobs as requested, and to my satisfaction. I intend to call again the next time I need help.

I was putting my condo on the market and eager to get some minor repairs done. I had bought a 2 hour handyman deal on Angie's list months before an eager to use it. When I called Nir (owner and scheduler) he was very nice on the phone but it was about a month until his first appointment. I was hoping that if I was happy with the 2 hour experience I could hire him to complete many more projects. But with the long wait, I hired a different handyman to complete what I needed done in time to put my place on the market. When September 19th came, I still had a few minor repairs that needed done like sanding and painting a wall and wind sill. The guy arrived 45 minutes late. He had a young boy with him, i think it was his son who seemed to be 14 years old who started to do the sanding in the bedroom window. Then he sent his son to the car to wait. While it was just him and me in the room he started to ask me if I lived alone, if I had a boyfriend, why I didn't have a boyfriend, he said I was beautiful, sexy, then said I had very sexy legs. I was very embarrassed and felt uncomfortable so left the room an waiting in my living room. I realized I was feeling very uncomfortable in my own home and how inappropriate his questions and comments were. I went back in my bedroom and demanded that he leave and called Nir immediately to report what happened. I am a nice and friendly person but in NO WAY encouraged this type of inappropriate behavior. Men who are working for women need to deliver the same professional behavior and respect as they would give to any man.

Best. Deal. Ever. This was one the best buys I ever made. I purchased the deal and they called me the next day to set up a day for the work. The deal was $299 for a handyman for 8 hours. When the person called (I forgot his name), he was very professional and asked what I had in mind. I told him I had the two cabinets to put together and the two shower heads. They said they ask so they can make sure they send the right person with the tools and to see if there was any drywall/construction work that I needed done. Gustavo arrived my house promptly at 9am, and I showed him the two cabinets that needed put together. One was for the bathroom, which was attached to the wall (I didn't know that) and the other one was called a cabidor, which is attached to the door hinges. I didn't know how long the cabinets would take to build and install, but he had those done by 1pm. I decided to get this deal because I knew I couldn't put the cabinets together my myself (I've put together simple shelves, etc) and figured it would be about $50 - $75 for each cabinet. This seemed like a great solution, plus I could throw in a couple of other items. At first my Dad was complaining that I bought this, but once Gustavo was there then he remembered about 4 or 5 items he needed done! So in addition to the cabinets and shower heads, Gustavo also repaired our broken toilet roll holder and put up these wire racks (to store our laundry soap) above our washer/dryer that we've had forever. The service was so good, I'm starting another list of things that we need around the house! And that experience taught me, there are a lot of things that need to be done that have been broken for so long you forget about them. But it's nice to have someone there to fix them!

Overall we are very pleased. Our thought was to hire them to do the wall repairs and have another tile contractor do the back splash. We are happy we had HandyCrew do it all. It's done and we are getting the kitchen ready to paint. The entire process from bid to completion was done as promised.

I received quickly feedback when i requested to a estimate quote. Mr. Ezra come to my house on time and gave me professional suggestion. I like it. We are not ready to hire Handcrew at this moment because we are waiting for CSLB approval and also their quotation was over our budget.
