I couldn't get my garage door to go up or down. I used the Angie's list website and found Denker's. I called a little after 8 am. Cheryl answered and took all my info and said she would call be back. She got back to me within 15 minutes to let me know Dan would be out between 9 and 11 am (same day!) Dan did arrive, as promised, around 10:20am. Looked things over and within 20 minutes had the old spring out and a new spring installed.

The experience went very well. They came promptly and said exactly what they were going to do and they did what they promised. The price was reasonable.

It was a comforting experience dealing with this company during a stressful period with my HOA. They came to check out my damaged garage door, since I thought it could be repaired. Laws have changed since it was installed and they needed to replace the entire door. Couldn't find one to match the rest of the condo complex, but so close, no one can tell the difference. Cheryl went out of her way to find the closest match, and to make sure it was immediately installed within a couple of days. She even called me after their business hours to give me an update. This is a great company with excellent staff!

I called at 8:30 in the morning; I spoke with Cathy and explained the problem. She asked where I lived and when I told her, she said that was on the outside of edge of their service area, but she said she was going to check with someone in the field and see if they would be available to come out. She called me back in about 5 minutes and said that he would come to my house and would be there around 11am. I asked if they could call me at work when he was on his way, since I work close to home and would come home at that time, she had no problem with that. Dan came to my house around 11am and checked on the damage, he said he could repair it and it would take about 30 minutes. He finished in about 20 minutes and fixed a couple of other little issues with the garage door that he found and it was working better than before it broke.

After getting quotes via phone for a garage door, I was most impressed with Cheryl at Denker's and the services and prices they offered. Their prices and customer service were better than Costco who installs the same doors. Cheryl was helpful on the phone and set up an estimate appointment. Dan came out and was very professional. He brought door samples and explained what would be the best door for our budget. He made a great suggestion to go with a longer door track because we have steps leading into the garage and the larger track would accommodate the additional head room needed while the garage door was open. After putting a deposit down on the door, we waited a few weeks for the longer track to be delivered and then Cheryl called to set up the installation appointment. Dan and Bill showed up on time, did a good, clean job of removing the old wood garage door and installing the new one. It looks and operates great!

Denkers' is excellent. We've used them 3 times (once for the garage door purchase and twice to come fix our opener). Each time has been terrific. I call make an appointment, and it's kept. They even call when they're in the area to let you know they are coming soon. That's great when you work close to home, and can then go home to meet them, instead of waiting at home for them to get there. Each time I've called to have the garage door opener fixed, I've told Cheryl make sure there's a replacement on the truck...this opener has had it. Each time they adjust and fix the existing door opener, basically after I've told them to replace it and charge me for a new one. That's when I know a company's solid and reputable...when they won't spend my money when I've told them it's OK to! The last time I told Cheryl the door was going up too quickly and making a huge racket. When I came home, the door still went up pretty fast, but was so quiet you can barely hear it when you're in the garage. This is a really responsive, responsible and professional company. I'm glad to recommend them without reservation.

Using Angie's List as a source I called this company to have a garage door installed at my home. An appointment was made to estimate the cost and the gentleman showed up during the time promised. I felt the estimate was a good one and eventually (I had to clean up the garage some and move some stuff around for the workman to move around freely in the space) made an appointment to have my old door removed and a new one installed. On the day of installation I received a call that the installer would be a bit late due to a longer than expected queue at the garage door warehouse. Once he arrived, his work was very good and he had the door up in about 3 hours. The door looks great and I'm quite pleased.

My single car garage's metal door torsion spring broke the night before. I decided to call Denker's Garage Doors in the morning based on their reputation on Angie's List. I called at 8:10 am this morning and left a message. Cheryl called me back within 20 mins and said Dan could be at my house between 9 - 11 am. The quote I got was $225 after a 10% discount for Angie's list members. The price was reasonable based on what I read on the Net, so I asked Cheryl to sent Dan over. Dan showed up around 10:00 am. He was very professional and inspected my garage door. There was no surprises and he confirmed the quote. I asked him to start working, and he got everything done under an hour and my garage door is now working again. It's definitely a relief to be able to get my car out of the garage.

Denker's did a really good job. They cleaned up after themselves and were just altogether great. I would definitely use them again.

The main spring on our garage door broke at 7:30 am, trapping our cars inside. I first called the company that installed the door originally as soon as they opened. The person answering the phone transferred my call to the service department where I had no choice but to leave a voice message asking for a callback ASAP. They returned the call 3 hours later, but by then I had called Denker's based on the Angie's List rating, and Dan arrived before noon as promised. He determined that a special order was necessary, but agreed to drive a considerable distance to secure the part immediately, quoting me the $450.00 total cost of repair. I agreed and he returned 90 minutes later, and installed it quickly. The fast service and special effort to get the part was really appreciated. We would not hesitate to use Dan's services again if needed.

We went ahead with it after having a power outlet installed near the spot where the unit would go. I called them back and the same installer came out and put in the whole system in two hours or less. Included were motion detectors, lights and control box. Efficient, business-like, punctual with no pressure and friendly phone communications.

We selected this company from Angie's List. The company had very good ratings there and our experience was consistent with that. The owner came out himself and gave us a quote. After accepting the bid, we arranged for a convenient time to complete the repair. The same person returned at the scheduled time and completed the repair.

I interviewed and met with 11 different garage door companies provided to me via Angie's List. It came down to Denkers and the other company. My wife and I drove around the addresses provided by both companies, visiting around 10 homes and speaking to 4 homeowners. All 4 were happy with both companies however in viewing the product...Denkers installation was far superior, their lines were straighter, well balanced, and the finish work was also better. So I decided to go with Denkers. However the bonus was I saved $3,500 as the other company wanted to charge me around $13,500 for the same exact job! As for the installation: when the time arrived the owner came out(on time)as well as his respectful helpers. However, during installation we discovered the manufacturer had delivered the door with the wrong type of glass. To my astonishment, Denkers offered to install the doors so my family would have security, and when the correct doors arrived they would return to remove the incorrect doors and install the new. This type of customer service is just down-right rare! When the correct doors came, Denkers promptly installed them. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the product, service and price. I will definitely use them again. Thank you Denkers. :)

Checked to see if my existing door opener could be tuned up to work right. When it was determined that a new opener would be needed they came right out the next day and installed it.

He was on time, very pleasant, found the problem right away, went straight to work and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently.

Job was done in less than an hour-very professionally.

Denker took the extra time to ensure I (the customer) got the product that fit the job--and (fortunately) not the product I thought I wanted.

Everything was well planned; a dream company.

A simple problem, but they handled it all very nicely from original phone call to repairman's speedy work, and everything done at a fair price.

You can NOT find a better company than this for replacing your garage door. I got three estimates, and theirs was $400-$800 less than the other two for the door, and the other two salespeople were pressing me to replace the perfectly good opener for an additional $300+. Every aspect of this job was fantastic. The price, the service, the delivery, and the installation all were flawless, and the people at the company are extremely helpful, pleasant, and honest. It was a pleasure doing business with Denker's Garage Doors. I give them my unqualified endorsement.

Initial contact and follow-up with the office manager was courteous, efficient and informative. Denkers provided a preliminary estimate based on a picture I sent of the current garage doors. Subsequently, Dan Denkers, the owner of the company, visited our home to provide a firm estimate. Mr. Denkers was rude and unhelpful throughout his visit, provided information that conflicted with what every other garage door company told us, and seemed thoroughly uninterested in providing a quotation for what amounts to a $8000-$9000 job. For our money, there are far better, more courteous options out there.

SINCE WE NEEDED TO GET OUR CAR OUT OF OUR GARAGE, WE NEEDED TO HIRE SOME GARAGE DOOR PROFESSIONALS TO COME OUT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO GET THE DOOR BACK ON TRACK AND THEY DID.
