My appointment was approximately 5 days from the date I called. Repairman arrived on time, and was very professional. He told me what was wrong, and how he planned to fix the problem. He also warned me that replacing the roller and cable might not be the only problem. But after he did the repairs everything was fine. He was very fast and efficient

I was impressed that the owner of the company came to do the free estimate and that he also came to install the door. He was efficient and took care of everything. Receptionist was very good about returning calls and easy to work with.

I called them and they gave me a quote and scheduled an appointment. They arrived on time and complete the work in a timely fashion without any issues. They charged me the quoted price. Good service overall and I would definitely use them again.

I went to walk my dog before going to work this morning and my garage door wouldn't open. I tried the "emergency" pull but it didn't work either. Searched Angie's List for garage door repair companies. Read the reviews and chose Denkers Garage Doors. Called them a little after 8AM. Was informed that the repairman was scheduled to go on another call today that was not in the direction of my house. Asked if there wasn't someone they could send over as I couldn't get my car out of the garage and couldn't go to work today. Cheryl told me she would check and call me back. I asked if she could call me back ASAP as I'd have to call someone else, if they couldn't send someone out today. She agreed to call me back ASAP. Within a few minutes, she called me back and said I was in luck because the helper was running late and the repairman could come by before going on his other call. I explained the problem with the door, she told me it was a broken spring and it would cost $250. They were here within the hour and the price was exactly as they quoted. In addition, I had a cable that was hanging which he noticed and stapled so that it wouldn't get caught in the garage door. I received professional, courteous and quick service. I will definitely use this company again and recommend them to family and friends.

Their price was a $1000 cheaper than a contractor friend quoted. They were prompt, professional and very communicative.

My experience with Denker's, when they installed my garage door some years back, was so good that when I had a problem today I called them first. I spoke with a very informed lady who suggested before I spend the money on a house call I check something myself. I followed her instructions and solved the problem instantly. I heartily recommend this company to anyone.

Everything went smoothly from the phone call to being here on time and fixing the door. I was told there would be a service call of $125.00 and that there may be other charges if it were to need new parts. He was quick and efficient. He did a extra maintenance on the garage door and still charged only for the service call. It was a no fuss, no hassle experience. It's been about a month since he did the work and we have had no further problems. The garage door is working great.

I needed a door for my 1928 bungalow's detached carriage house. I pulled Denker's off Angie's List and called, Cheryl was very pleasant, informative and gave me the "Angie's List discount" right off the bat. Most of the time I go to a few different contractors for bids - in this case I didn't bother with anyone else after that first call as I'd done my research beforehand and the quote was more than fair. Dan came out, took a look, pulled out a catalog to show me options suited to my meager budget, I pointed, he wrote it down and we shook hands on the deal. I don't think that first meeting took any more than 15 minutes. The work was done a few days later and I could not be more pleased at how it all turned out! Dan even went way above and beyond by not only adding a new beam to the inside of the garage opening to secure the door better, but by primering the outside trim around the outside of the door. The whole experience was truly a slam dunk and one of the easiest home-improvement related transactions I've had so far - and I've had plenty lately, as I just purchased my home. If I ever need garage door services again (which I doubt, the work is definitely quality) there is just no reason to go elsewhere.

One of the panels in our garage door was sagging - causing the door to jam when opening. Dan came out, moved a brace from another panel - which got the door opening again, but then went to get another brace to replace the one he moved - came back the same day - IN THE RAIN - and installed it. Great service - would absolutely recommend him to others.

Easy process. Contacted them, set up an appointment (on time), and got my bid. A few days later I called them to do the work. They worked with my schedule, showed up (a little late), and got to work immediately. Very efficient workers. English as a first language is a plus in my book. Finished timely - made a few adjustments to my specs, paid them and off they went. Very neat as well. Works and looks great.

Denker's the person who came to do the quote wasn't too helpful about explaining all of the options. He did not come across as friendly either. They were quite good except for that worker.

An excellent experience. Bob knew what he was doing and solved the problem quickly. He even allowed me to go to the store to buy the new springs while he went to another call in the area. When he came back he installed the springs and made the adjustments and only charged me for a single service call. Cheryl also was great in setting up the appointment. She told me she would call a half hour before Bob was coming over and she did. He arrived right on time.

Overall, I highly recommend Denkers. We got a quote from our local Lowes, and they quoted us almost $200 more for the same garage door. Denkers does most installation work for the Lowes stores in the Long Beach, Santa Ana areas, so by cutting the middleman out (Lowes) you save yourself money. Because we were saving money by going directly to Denkers, we upgraded the door to 24 gauge with insulation....and still ended up paying less than the Lowes price (which was for a 24 gauge door with no insulation). Seriously, save yourself time, money, and the hassle of the big box stores and call Denkers. Great customer experience and value for the money.

I picked Denker's because they could service our garage door immediately. The spring broke on Sunday, they returned my message at 8am Monday, and had the door fixed around noon the same day. The work only took about 20 minutes.

I was impressed with the pleasant conversation with Cheryl, who answered the phone and took down my information. We scheduled the estimate for later in the week. When the installer arrived, he measured and gave me a price for both doors and hardware. We scheduled the installation later in the day when Cheryl called to say that they had everything they needed for my installation in stock. I am very pleased with the doors. I must not be used to having garage doors that work so easily because a month later, I found I had forgotten to put my car away late one night. I ran out, opened the door and started to drive inside. Unfortunately, I had not allowed the door to fully open and I damaged the bottom section. I scheduled another visit by the installer. He quickly listed what he would need and scheduled the repairs for the end of the week. I was very pleased with the timely way we could schedule the installation and repairs. This company has been very responsive and pleasant to do business with.

We were very pleased with them. They were great. The price was reasonable and we were given choices on what we wanted. He was very good and knew his stuff. He got us a good garage door opener.

My roll-up garage door was not closing consistently. Denker came out and evaluated the situation. The service technician was quick to diagnose some issues with the door and recommend adjustments. He didn't try to oversell the services. In fact I had to point out that one of the cables was starting to fray. He replaced the cable and lubricated and adjusted the door and opener. It is operating much better now. I did downgrade some points from excellent to good because the technician arrived a few minutes after the 2 hour window the appointment was for and didn't call to let me know he would be late. I also had to wait several days for an appointment due to a backlog of service calls. This is not their fault, they can't help if they have more demand than they can service promptly at times.

Called Denker's Garage Doors Wed, and had them out the same day to give me a quote. I agreed to the quote on the spot and set up an appointment for Friday. They came Friday and installed the garage door. Done and Done.

The spring on my garage door broke, so went looking and found Denker's on Angie's List. Called the contact, Cheryl, and she gave me a quote over the phone. She apologized and indicated it would take a week to get someone out since one of their installers had a death in the family, but that wasn't an issue for us at the time so I setup an appointment. The installer showed up on the appointed date/time. The guy was friendly and the job was done quickly. I would recommend them in the future.

Denker's was able to come out a day or two after I called and arrived right in the middle of the 2 hour arrival time window they said they would. Dan did the removal of the old opener and installed the new one faster then I thought it would take. (I tried this myself once before and it was a pain in the neck). Knowing what the retail price of the opener is, I thought their overall price including labor was reasonable. Dan spent some time explaining how to activate the wireless keypad. One minor issue, shortly after Dan left the opener stopped working. I noticed the LED lights on the safety sensors were not on and traced the wire leading back to the opener. While stripping the insulation off the wire he must have also cut into the wire because it had broken off in the quick connector on the back of the opener. I was able to fix myself and did not need to call them back. I also had to re-aim the safety sensors. Neither issue was a big deal but felt I should mention them. I would recommend Denkers.

I had an order with another company and was growing frustrated and angry with their customer service. I called Denkers and not only had an estimate within hours, I had a superior door installed the very next day. Best of all, I saved over $150.00. I couldn't be happier.

I broke the torsion spring on my garage door on a Saturday. I had unhooked the door from the gear and it dropped, breaking the spring and denting the door. I did not know what broke at the time, only that something was wrong. I looked on Angie's List and found Denkers. They had a good score and good comments. I called Monday and someone was able to come out the next day. They gave me the estimate, which seemed reasonable, so I okay-ed the work, and they did the rest.
