This business has relocated to Los Alamitos CA but retains the same telephone number. Randy purchased the business from Charlie a few years ago. Randy returned my call quickly and provided me with a ball park labor price range over the telephone. Since this estimate was about 1/2 of the other estimate I had received, we agreed on a time for him to come and confirm the estimate, and if it held, for him to do the work. He arrived promptly at the scheduled time (9:00) and confirmed the estimate he gave me over the phone. He completed the work about 12:30 and the work was done well. The cost was the lower end of the range of the labor estimate plus the cost for the materials. I experienced no problems with him or his work. I would not hesitate to have him do more work for me.

Randy, the plumber, did a superb job. The first drain was inside and Randy cleaned up every speck of grime. The second drain was a very tough clog outside where the laundry and kitchen drains meet. I have had other plumbers in the past punch a hole in the grime and the water starts to flow, job finished, but Randy not only created an outlet for the water, but he used several different bits on the snake to make the hole as large as possible. That is not the best part, he still charged me the same amount that he gave me over the phone, even though he spent close to 2 hours on the job. I am going to have Randy clean out my main drains on an annual basis before they just stop up at some inconvenient time. I am a dedicated do-it-'yourselfer', but it is just not worth the hassle of trying chemicals, trying the hose, renting a snake etc. Randy did an immaculate job of cleaning up afterwards also, and I could tell because the clean out is just below a newly painted white house front.

Randy was punctual, coming over in less than an hour after my phone call. He was very tidy, keeping the area where the sink clean out was; dry and problem free. He took a lot of time with the toilet tank situation and it helped me avoid what surely would have been a MAJOR repair to both the toilet and our new hallway carpet. I would recommend this person highly and will most assuredly use him myself again.

I called in the morning, and he was there in the afternoon. Ed did a good job, cleaned up, and was very nice and helpful.

MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH CHARLIES PLUMBING WAS EXCELLENT. THE SERVICE WAS VERY PROMPT SAME DAY. THE PRICE I FELT WAS VERY GOOD FOR A NON SCHEDULED JOB. HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE.
