Description of Work: I first purchased 9 new windows for my daughters home in 2014 from CAL REP. In October, 2016, I purchasws 5 new windows for my home. With both purchases and installations, we experienced professional, honest, high quality employees. Customer service was great! The installer workmanship was top quality. I HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone that is shopping for new windows.

Description of Work: Replaced french door for patio area. The installers were very good, clean, polite and made repairs in a timely manner. The additional cost included changes that were added due to initial door arrived was incorrect. The contract was signed in July 2014 and completed Nov. 2014. There warranty is very good because several returns for adjustments were completed with excellent results. Their installers, clean ups, adjustments specialist took special care to make the end product finally worth the purchase. The factory stood by their warranty and completed adjustments after the settling of end product. WinDoor in Anaheim has relocated to Brea, Ca. and continued to respond to our concerns when changes/adjustments required a return visits. | |Thank You to all of their installers, repair specialist, and customer service for their continued patience and support.

Description of Work: EXCELLENT. They were one of very few window installers who would install a window we already had and not require a purchase of materials. It took precisely one hour. No hidden fees or last-minute markups. The quote was the price I paid at the time of installation. Team clearly was very experienced. Nice new quiet window. Aaaah

 + -1 moreOne of the co-owners of the company, Joel, showed up before the scheduled appointment (on a Saturday). I ended up getting home in the middle of the window, but Joel was very professional about the situation. He took measurements of the entire house and provided the quote the next business day. Overall, I would have been happy to have this company do the work; the difference was one of price and of overall quality of the product (over which California Replacement has very little control).
Description of Work: Provided a quote for Milgard and Simonton windows. This was my second choice after the company I ended up choosing.

 + 0 moreWe were very happy with both the cost and the workmanship. The crew was very efficient, everyone doing their assigned part of the job. They arrived on time and did 15 windows in one day with no problem. The only difficulty was that one of the windows was not on the delivery truck and they had to come back two days later to put it in. This did not cause us any problem as we are retired and they always arrived within their two hour estimate. They did not request payment until we were satisfied with the final window and they were the low bidder.
Description of Work: Removed 16 windows, including a sliding patio door and put in Milgard replacement windows. Cleaned up and removed all debris.

 + 0 moreTheir service could not have been better. They showed up on time, were extremely efficient in their work while being very careful of both our external and internal spaces. The installed products are significantly better in both function and appearance than we had expected. The costs on this project were very much in line with other quotations we had gathered. May 2011 - Used them again with the same great experience. Two windows replaced, on time, no surprises, service and products are impeccable.
Description of Work: Removed and replaced a 10' slider, kitchen pass-through window, and bathroom window.

He told me about an income tax savings if I used a certain kind of windows and he followed up quickly when I had questions. Installation was within a couple of weeks and I?ve been very happy with everything. It was quick, easy, and very professional.

 + -1 moreAlthough our replacement had to be rescheduled a couple of times due to rain, when the repairman did come, the work was completed quickly. The window now looks like the original ones.
Description of Work: We needed a cracked window replaced. Since this company had installed the original windows several years before, we contacted them for the replacement. It did take longer than we would have liked for the new window to be ordered. I had to contact the company again after not hearing back from them. I understand that this was a very small job for a window company.

 + 0 moreWe had shopped around several reputable window contractors in our area including the well known Windor company. Windor is a great company but they use their brands of windows. Calif Replacement uses Milgard exclusively. In the end, Ca Replacement won out because of their unbeatable pricing. We estimated saving a few thousand dollars! Their contractors are excellent, very knowledgeable regrading the codes around the areas they're servicing. They worked fast. We were amazed at their proficiency, efficiency and meticulousness. They were very quick in coming back to finish caulking a small area around our kitchen window. We've made the right choice with Ca Replacement. I have nothing but high regards for Ca Replacement. Highly recommended!

 + -1 moreThe salesperson came to the house for an in-home estimate. He was on time and was courteous. We asked about new install vs replacement. He explained the cost factor associated with the new install. We decided to go with replacement. He also recommended a lower cost approach to the French door replacement, but we did not like it. His estimate was in the middle of the pack, and they appeared to be very competent based on their sales video. We didn't go with them because they wouldn't do the French door the way we wanted.

TWO WORKERS SHOWED UP AT 7:30 A.M. ON A RAINY DAY AND TOOK OLD WINDOWS OUT. REPLACEMENTS WERE IN AND SET WITHIN TWO AND ONE HALF HOURS. THE WORKERS CLEANED UP AND LEFT THE HOUSE AS IF NOTHING HAD OCCURRED.
