I highly, highly recommend Best Moving Service. From the moment I emailed the company and then called and spoke with Doug for a quote, everything was handled with utmost professionalism, and they made it all as easy as possible. The information was all provided in a clear and honest manner, and the company was very diligent about confirming everything. As a veteran of numerous moves, including cross country moves -- and thus a veteran of every type of positive and negative experience -- I was somewhat stressed about this small move because we were on a very tight schedule. Turns out there was nothing to worry about. Art and Albert showed up right on time, the move went quickly and smoothly and with great care for our items, and we were all incredibly pleased by the experience. We have a couple of other moves coming up in the future, and Best Moving Service will be our go-to!

The team from BEST was not only professional and hardworking the whole time, but tidy, polite and cheerful. They were a pleasure to work with. Not one complaint from them even into the evening. I’ve moved many times - this time we had the most stuff - and have never had such a pleasant experience!

The packing went well and the move went well also. The packing equipment costs were a bit higher than anticipated but it was worth it to have everything pack. The guys who moved were very diligent about putting the boxes in the room specified which was very helpful! They were hard-working, friendly, professional, courteous and fast.

Great company to deal with. Excellent communication. Beware of companies that advertise that they are licensed and insured. This one is. The CPUC is the licensing agency (California Public Utilities Commission). I think you will be very pleased if you decide to deal with this company.

They were fantastic. They had a crew of three guys working the first day for about 6 hours packing things. Two 24' trucks and four guys pulled up the next morning to finish packing and then load the truck. They had everything loaded in six hours. Once arriving in LB, they noticed we had wood floors so they sent me to a hardware store to get felt pads for everything which they applied to every piece of furniture they put in the house. They made sure our refrigerator, washer, and dryer were connected and working before they left. We have a Sleep Number bed and they reassembled and inflated it to ensure that worked too! Although I told them it would be okay to put more boxes in the Master Bedroom, they wanted us to have a relaxing environment and not feel cramped. They even made sure the bedding box was handy so we could sleep in sheets on the first night. Only one broke item and one chipped item in all that stuff! My only complaint and this is so lame is that I'd advise ANY packer to write "Pots and Pans" on that specific box instead of "Kitchen." There were 14 boxes marked "Kitchen" and of course the pots and pans were in the last one I opened and I found that on Day 3.

Best Moving company I have ever used. They came to my house promptly and they guys were so helpful. They were above and beyond, they were friendly, diligent, cooperative and patient. Once I got everything to my new home. I didn't find any issues and everything was delivered in perfect condition. The charge me exactly was I was quoted.

I had about a 1-bedroom house's worth of stuff to move to 2 different places. The guys showed up in the time they said they would, they were courteous, professional, and nice to boot. They moved everything with great care and attention. When they weren't sure about something, they'd ask. They were pretty quick too. They had me verify everything at each place to make sure it was all done to my satisfaction. The rates are very reasonable and straightforward, and they don't try to do complicated math like the number of guys + number of hours x gas x distance or any malarkey like that. I also got a 5% discount for being an Angie's List member, which is always appreciated. The only negative, if I had one, would be to say that although they take cards, they do the old fashioned card imprint stuff. Guys, there is technology for that nowadays and it's way more secure than the system you have now. And instead of penalizing customers for using a card (the rate is higher for cards than cash) why not say there is a discount for paying in cash?

The guys arrived exactly on time. They were extremely courteous, professional, and efficient throughout the entire move. They had absolutely no issues quickly disassembling the furniture, loading the truck, arriving at the new place, unloading and assembling everything in the most careful and professional way possible. They were done ahead of the predicted time. Overall a seamless move with no hiccups and no issues whatsoever. We would definitely use this company again.

I hired three guys who arrived promptly at 7:30 am and were done and gone by 2:30pm. The process leading up to the move was professional, friendly and confidence building. The move itself simply could not have gone more smoothly, except for the thunderstorm, but it did not slow things down or dampen anyone's spirit. The crew was so nice, so polite and very hardworking. They took exceptional care of my things, wiped their feet on their own packing blankets at the new house and never scratched a wall or bumped a corner. I would recommend them to the pickiest client, which is what I am.

The two movers, Jamal and Michael, were pleasant, respectful and very careful with Mom's belongings, such as her treasured Grandfather clock. They accomplished the load-out in under 3 hours and had everything unloaded, the bed put together and all the major furniture pieces in place in the new place within a 6 hour timeframe. It's the first move I've experienced where everything went according to plan, nothing was lost or damaged, and we would definitely recommend Best Moving Service to all my friends!

Totally worth it. Some of the best money I've ever spent. We've moved a lot of times from rental to rental and have finally purchased our first house. When moving before we have had to beg and plead with friends to get a bunch of weaklings together and struggle for two days to move everything. We'd also have to rent a gigantic truck that I'm not used to driving, pray that I don't hit anything or worse kill anyone. It's just not fun. These guys showed up and knew exactly what they were doing. They arrived right on time, hopped out of the truck, and went through the house with me to see what was moving and what wasn't. Then they got to work. I couldn't believe how efficient they were. They hauled heavy furniture down the stairs like it was nothing. Everything was secured and wrapped if it needed to be. They had tons of furniture pads to keep the stuff scratch free. The whole house was safely loaded on the truck in about three hours. We then met at the new house and they quickly began unloading everything. The truck was empty 2 hours later. Everything was put exactly where we wanted it. The furniture was assembled for us. There were absolutely no problems whatsoever with this whole move. It really made what used to be a stressful two days almost enjoyable. If you are moving, do yourself a favor and hire these guys. They are worth it. Great job Best Moving!

From the inquiry stage, to the booking stage, to the actual days of move, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Since the price was by the hour ($149 for four guys and one truck, but they have less expensive plans with only 2 guys), I didn't have to worry about an estimate not matching the actual price. The guys wrapped everything in blankets and plastic wrap. They protected everything extremely well. They took apart beds and put them back together on the other end. Nothing was broken and nothing was missing. [They use their private storage facilities (when storage is needed), so I didn't have access to my things while in storage, but I didn't need access so this was no problem.] The storage cost was reasonable. They called to confirm a day before and everything was handled very professionally. They had to carry heavy things down a flight of stairs but it was no problem. However, I did learn in the process that the insurance that moving companies use would not be adequate to replace most items if anything had been broken or lost (which it wasn't). If you have any concerns, you might want to buy better insurance. I am not sure if they sell it or if you have to go through a third party. No additional coverage was offered to me. But I am sure that this is the same with most moving companies as they meet State standards but do not exceed State standards. Because my things barely fit into the truck, they actually used two trucks when they delivered, but I was not charged extra. I would highly recommend this company to anyone, whether you need storage or not.

David, Richard & Scott were on time, extremely polite, did not stop working the entire time. Their time estimate was spot on. We would definitely recommend "Best" to family and friends.
