Description of Work: I have used Belmont Carpets several times in the past. Was not disappointed then or now. We bought 76 sy of carpeting for 2 bedrooms. Showroom has lots of choices and some sales people are knowledgeable--Joey was great. Some of the other guys did not give us correct information, though they tried. Note when you are checking their prices, be aware they quote prices with padding and installation included, so the price sounds high until you realize that. The installers were Belmont's, not subcontractors. They were excellent and obviously experienced. I reported a small problem with the padding, and Joey scheduled the installers to return on a day convenient for me. It was taken care of with no questions, no arguments. Very happy with the carpet and the installation.

Description of Work: I went to their showroom to get a bid on hardwood flooring and carpet for a whole house. I met with a salesman and picked out both products I wanted and was given a quote. Since I was at the time in escrow, I needed to wait for escrow to close for the installation. When it got closer and the loan was approved, I called to ask more questions about the wood flooring. I left a message on the salesman's office phone and his cell phone. He didn't return my call. I left another message requesting he come out and take his own measurements. He did not show up or call. After a couple of weeks, I called again and he said that he somehow lost my file and couldn't call me back. I left my number on his voicemail so apparently he lost that too. I told him the closing date and when I wanted the installation done and I wanted a price on similar colored wood, but less expensive. He said he'd check the inventory and call me back with the cost. He never called back. I decided if they couldn't even communicate with me over the phone in a timely manner, that I couldn't trust them to do the install when needed. I had only 9 days from now until I moved in and all contractors were on a tight schedule.

Description of Work: Company held onto carpet we had purchased for a couple months before we installed it, no problems. Installers were very professional, did everything we asked (taping seams, using machine to stretch carpet), and took the time to see to details like tucking carpet down against tack strips when it abuts hard flooring. Much better than our previous install. Ask for Sal to install.

Ron Matlock, the sales rep, was very helpful in making sure everything went along smoothly. I love my beautiful floor and would recommend this company to others.

Description of Work: THEY RIPPED OUT OLD CARPET AND LINOLIUM AND INSTALLED LAMINATE WOOD FLOORING THROUGH THE MAIN PART OF THE HOUSE AND CARPET IN THE BEDROOM.
