Description of Work: We're on maintenance contract with Associated Air for 2 of our properties. They call to schedule service and show up on time. A few years ago, we purchased an energy-efficient Lennox system from them when Costco was promoting them. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: We used Associated to replace and install our forced air heater and air conditioning unit. The original work went great, with no complaints at all. |We had a maintenance contract with them on the unit. The first two maintenance calls went well, however on the last call, the tech tried to convince me that the heat exchanger was cracked and he actually disconnected the gas from the unit saying he was required to by the state. I had another company evaluate the heat exchanger and they could not find a crack.

It was a pleasure to talk to a live person, expecially one who was knowledgeable and polite. The technician arrived on time and was ready to work. Very respectful to me and to my home. He even put on some kind of slipper to make sure he didn't track any dirt into my home. He explained everything to me that needed to be done and told me the price up front before doing the work. No surprises! I would highly recommend Associated Heating & Air to friends & family. When it is time to replace my furnace, I will definately be calling them FIRST!
Description of Work: The technician did a thorough check of my furnace. He explained everything he was doing and the reason behind it. Once he found the problem, he explained what it was and what was needed to repair. I appreciated that he took the time to include me in the process, not just come in and tell me how much I needed to write the check for !

They also put in a sub-standard part in my attic which led to $5,000 in water damage. They only re-reimbursed me after I filed a small claims law suit and WON. Not a company I would do business with.

+ -1 moreThey came on time. Did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. Their supervisor came by to check on the job while they were installing the unit. We were very happy with their service and will use them again.
Description of Work: I came home from vacation to find my air conditioner running and it wouldn't shut off. The condenser on top of my furnace was appearantly installed wrong (less than 5 years old) and leaked causing the furnace to rust. Everything in it looked damaged. Allied gave me option of just replacing the condenser or replacing the condenser and furnace. They suggested I get both done. I could see by the amount of rust I was headed for trouble if tried to cut corners so I had them do both.

The installation crew was punctual and cleaned their work area. I recommended Associated Heating and Air to two neighbors in 2004 and a family friend in 2006. All chose Associated Heating and Air and are very happy.

+ -1 moreUsing email, I requested bids from about 4 suppliers. Ryan called me within 2 days and we set an appointment, so he could see the old equipment and discuss options. He was technical enough to answer all my detailed questions, which really made the process go smooth. I changed my mind several times, but he was able to re-quote within a few hours each time. In the end, Associated submitted the lowest bid and they left me feeling confident that they would do a good job. On the day of the installation, the installers Jeff and Mike were on time and did a great job of listening to my last minute questions and concerns. Everyone in our family was impressed with their professionalism and quality of work. For instance, they put down cloths to protect our floors and did a great job of cleaning up at the end.

Description of Work: THIS COMPANY HAD UPGRADED MY OLD FURNACE IN 2003, INSTALLING NEW HEATING AND CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK AND WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE, REFERENCES, AND LICENSES. I WAS, HOWEVER, DISMAYED TO FIND BITS OF INSULATION BLOWING OUT OF ONE REGISTER THE WEEK OF OCT. 20, 2007. TURNS OUT I HAD RATS CHEWING ON THE DUCT WORK TO GET MATERIAL FOR A NEST. RYAN BLANCO CAME OUT AND CONFIRMED THIS, GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE FOR REPLACING THE DAMAGED DUCT, AND ALSO FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF ALL THE REMAINING DUCTS. FAST FORWARD TO NOV. 9, 2007, A GENTLEMAN NAMED JACK REPLACED THE DAMAGED DUCT, REPROGRAMMED THE THERMOSTAT. AS SOON AS I CAN VERIFY THE RATS ARE GONE, I WILL CERTAINLY HAVE THE REST OF THE WORK DONE.
