We had plans drawn up for a complete backyard remodel that included the pool. Our decision to go with Angel’s Pools for a significant portion of the remodel was based on price, communication, and reviews. Edward, who wrote the proposal, was extremely efficient. He was prompt with returning my phone call, surveying the job site, and submitting their bid. The proposal was detailed and very clearly written. The initial impression left no doubt on who we felt most confortable with to remodel our pool. I needed trust and confidence in a contractor. Construction projects come not just with financial concerns but also with emotional challenges. It can be extremely stressful. From the initial contact with Edward on the proposal to the interaction with Jose, who is the owner and who supervises the construction, we could not have been happier! We had a few minor issues that were unforeseeable but Jose was there to calm any concerns and work through those issues. I requested five change orders during the construction and Edward was always fair and consistent with pricing. Jose and the crews were always timely and pushed hard to meet their timelines. Jose was extremely cooperative with all the other sub-contractors I hired for other portions of the project. There technical skill level was great. I could not imagine anybody better to work with than Jose. His communication was outstanding throughout the construction. We could not be more satisfied with the work Angel’s Pools performed for us. I would not hesitate to work with them again!

This is the first time I've ever left an Angie's list review, but our experience with Angel's pools was the best experience we've ever had with a contractor. Responsiveness, quality, competitive pricing, and most appreciated was everything was on time. From our first contact with Edward, the estimator....to the final punch list, we always felt listened to. We replaced our old plaster with Stone Scapes, new lights, new tile, gunnite repairs, new energy efficient pump. The crews showed up on time when they said they would. There were not big surprises. Our neighbors were so impressed they use Angel's to re-do their pool also.

I'm not an easy guy to work for. Edward and his team were on time, told me what they were going to do and when they hoped to have it done, and met those timelines. His guys are pros, and you can tell that they know exactly what they are doing. It took a few months as it was a major overhaul to the back yard, but the finished product it awesome. With a project this size, there are always going to be minor issues. Jose (the owner) was very quick to address anything that came up to my satisfaction. My only minor complaints are that I wish I would have been prepared for the chaos that would be my backyard during the project so I could have put away and protected some of our outdoor furniture from the dirty, dusty, project. The outdoor living area they put in is awesome. Our family treats it as our new living room. I would recommend Edward and his team to anyone.

First off, we have used various contractors over the years for both major and minor home remodeling projects. Angels Pools was, by far, the best company we have ever worked with. Edward, Jose and the entire crew were professional, polite, respectful, hardworking, on budget and on time. Almost too good to be true. By way of background, our swimming pool developed a significant crack and was out of level. The decking around the pool was cracked and lifting and the drain lines were clogged and non-functional. We narrowed our choice of contractors to two reputable companies. We selected Angles based on the many reviews that we read on Angie's List and Home Advisor. As indicated, we wound up doing a full remodel of the backyard. Included in this was stripping the plaster from the pool and replacing with a new pebble finish, installing three new LED pool lights, fixing the crack, installing new plumbing and electrical, etc., etc. They also ran a new gas line to a newly built barbecue island and replaced all drain lines. They poured nearly 2,000 square feet (I think) of new concrete decking which is proportioned and sloped perfectly. Jose's crew showed up on time every morning, worked hard throughout each day, and cleaned up thoroughly at days end. They were friendly and went out of their way to ensure that we were happy with the work. In short (and obviously) I would highly recommend them.

If you are looking for a top notched company than Angel's is the one to call. We joined Angie's list and the first company I went looking for was someone who could repair our existing pool. Angel's Pool, Inc. popped up. I first looked up to make sure their Contractors License and Workers Compensation Insurance were current and up to date, which it was. So many companies post that information, but when checking it is not current. We made the call and set up an appointment. We were so impressed with Edward who showed up on time, with sample books in hand. We talked about what really needed to be done, gave us some terrific suggestions and began to measure the pool area. Because our pool was 35 years old you can imagine the amount of work that needed to be done. Our cantilever deck was cracking, plaster chipping, the heater didn't work, the filter was too small for the size pool we had, etc. etc. etc. Within, what seemed to be hours, we received a 6 page written proposal. Talk about professionalism! We decided to not even look into contacting another company. We called Edward back to say okay. He met us the next day to sign the contract and we gave him a deposit. He informed us that on Thursday of the following week the existing pool and spa would be emptied and demolition would begin on the following morning. And it was. Everyone showed up by 7:00 a.m. and began the transformation of our pool and spa. In 9 days we went from a run down, falling apart swimming pool and spa to a beautiful swimming pool and spa that we can be proud of and we have the pictures and video to prove it and we would be happy to share them with anyone who wants to contact us. Each man who worked on our pool was a professional. The gentleman who did the brick coping was a perfectionist. He has worked with Jose Angel Cruz for 20 plus years. In fact, I understand that most of the people that work for Angel's have been associated with them for some time. He has a great crew. The men showed up on time, began working on time and continued to work the entire day until it was time to go home. The back yard continued to be functional because they cleaned up each day and put their tools away until the next day when work would be begin again. Every man who worked in our backyard was pleasant and helpful if we had any questions. My husband and I owned a manufacturing business for more than 40 years and we know the importance of providing a good product and what true customer service is and should be and Angel's Pools has it. You won't be disappointed. They know what they are doing from beginning to end. We would recommend them without hesitation.

I could not recommend them high enough. They were all very professional from the original very realistic and practical quote from Eduardo Plascencia, to Jose Cruz who was constantly on top of the project communicating on the phone and in person with his employees to Julie in the office handling a variety of things behind the scene and on the phone with us. They were all very nice and gracious people to work with and all took ownership of our particular project. The demolition, the three major modifications of construction to the final coping, tile and Hydrazo installation on the pool and spa sides and floor never stopped. I felt like Jose Cruz's supervision was always taking consideration of my position as the customer in keeping it flowing smoothly and efficiently. Jose was always available quickly by text or a phone call. I never asked him a question that he did not have an immediate logical answer for that obviously was drawn from his years of experience in the pool business. Every employee at one time or another mentioned to me that their highest goal was always that the customer would be happy and satisfied with the progress and the final completion. I will happily verify that they all consistently lived that motto in their daily actions. Every day, the site in our back yard was swept clean and all the materials and tools were stacked and stored neatly. It always looked so organized. There were never any food containers, plastic bags, drinks or half filled coffee cups or odds and ends of trash floating around the construction sight. Anything that would be a potential hazard for us as owners walking around in the evening hours was red taped and made very visible to be avoided. The employees were very polite, friendly and professional regardless of their position on the job site. Any time there was a surprise in the project, I was immediately called and consulted as to my choices. We especially appreciated their flexibility to add a feature, adjust a dimension or change an option right in the middle of the process. It was always appreciably accepted and never considered an inconvenience. There were a couple of small start up items that did not work as planned after it was put back in service and with a text to Jose, a technician was there in the morning and fixed it immediately. For all they did, we were amazed at how efficiently the job ran, what an absolutely beautiful end product we have to enjoy with our family and friends and what a satisfying view we experience every time we look out our family room and kitchen windows. Their pricing was very competitive and the extras we added were very fair in cost. I would absolutely use them again and would not hesitate to recommend them to my best of friends. David N.

I can't say enough good things about Angel's. Everyone was great to work with; Edward the salesman, Jose the sup., all the crew members and the office manager. Edward was very knowledgeable about pool building and made suggests appropriately and helped guide our decision making. They answered their phones or called us back the same day EVERY TIME I called them. They showed up, worked hard and the workmanship was great. They were punctual, clean and friendly. They were willing to work with us on minor changes as we moved thru the project. They didn't try to nickel and dime us on a couple change orders.

I can't thank Jose and his entire crew at Angel's Pools enough for the beautiful pool and spa that they built for us. The workmen were always on time or earlier and focused. We were also working with a second company for the rest of the backyard as we had initially contracted with them to redo the hardscape. When we decided to add a pool afterwards, it was deflating to realize that our contractor didn't build pools...but, we searched and decided on Angels Pools to work with us. And as precarious as it is to work with 2 different companies, Jose made it all work! The only delays were on my part as we had to wait for special ordered coping and hardscape but if it hadn't been for that, I'm confident that the pool would have been completed from being dug out to filled and ready to swim in a little over 2 weeks! After the pool was built and filled, we realized there was a leak. Jose was on top of that as well and had someone out here the next day to fix it. He was always accommodating and responsive to our questions and concerns. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I must admit the project did not go as I had planned. But when do projects ever go as planned? Spa works great and the price was very fair as was quoted prior to the work beginning. With some minor bumps in the road the job was done and the spa is ready for us to enjoy. I was contacted by Angel the owner to address any issues or concerns I had regarding the project and some time later we met at my residence to discuss my issues. He showed great concern over my opinions and never did I feel as if I was being pacified. I was impressed with the companies value, in my honest opinion. I would use this company again.

Not much to report as far as details. They did what they said they would do on time and on the quoted cost.

They came recommended to us from a painter we have used for years. The service went great. The crew completed the job in about 2 months. Angel was very good and professional. The pricing was great and they were very efficient workers. They completed the pool in the time estimated. I would highly recommend the company. I believe they do pool repair as well.

FANTASTIC! This is THE most professional contractor we have ever worked with! I did extensive research on pool contractors prior to calling 3 contractors for bids. All three contractors had been in the business 20+ years and after the interview process and bidding, Angel's was well below the next highest bid. Usually that would make us skeptical (we typically take the middle bid), but Edward was extremely knowledgeable and up-front about the process, his company and his bid was very fair. Knowing pricing on some of the materials and my husband's experience in construction labor costs helped us realize the other contractors had a huge amount of "fat" in their bids. Throughout the entire process, things progressed EXACTLY the way Jose (Angel's Construction Manager for us) said they would. Every day (including Saturdays)the crew (employed by Angel's, not subbed out) arrived on time and did what they said they would accomplish that day. I can't even count how many times neighbors stopped me to comment on what great work ethic the crews had to even be there on Saturday. They were extremely considerate and neat. Even though their contract said they were not responsible for plant material, which, in a project of this scope, is absolutely expected, very few plants bit the dust. After the pool surface was demolished, a couple of cracks were discovered (after all, it was a 27 year old pool) and even though it was an addition to the contract to repair them, the charges were very fair. The same was true for the spa. After demolition of the pool deck, it was discovered the spa had been plumbed totally wrong - it had worked but it was not correct or efficient. The addition to correct it was fair and Jose was thorough in explaining how it was plumbed originally, why it was incorrect and how it was going to be re-plumbed so that even "non-pool savvy" people like us could understand. He wanted to be sure we knew the re-plumb was a legitimate and necessary addition and we are so happy we did it. And that illustrates how great the communication was on the project as well. If we had a question or concern and emailed either Edward or called Jose, the reply was almost immediate and we were constantly told, "If you have a question, feel free to call us any time!" Edward checked on the progress several times and Jose was there AT LEAST once a week and sometimes a few days in a row. Edward said to me, early on in the project, " Our crews have been doing this for a long time, they know what the process is and they know exactly what they have to do." That is the truth! Luis was, I believe, the foreman on the job and he knew how every facet of the job was to be done. He was an absolute master and perfectionist at how the stone coping pieces would be layed and spaced, how the waterline tile would be placed and how the 1X1 mosaic spa tiles would be layed. The pavers, which were about 1500 sq. ft., under Luis's supervision were done perfectly and as we have discovered since, the grade and drainage patterns are perfect as well. Our pool and backyard is simply beautiful! And it was completed just 1 week beyond what they said it would in the contract - even with the pool crack repairs and re-plumbing of the spa! We have always been very reluctant to give totally outstanding reviews for any contractor we've used for other things before but Angel's Pools was truly a one-in-a-million contractor. An A+++ in every way!

Everything went good was built on time all worker were friendly and willing to listen when changes need.

When i was looking to replace my skimmer, i found this company through Angie's list. I contacted them and they responded promptly. I scheduled the appointment. The person visited our house was very technical and detailed too. He was exploring few options to fix the leaking skimmer and gave the reasonable quote for replacing the skimmer.

Angel's pool was a definite win with our decision to use them to completely redo our pool! Edward was extremely communicative and had answers ready for me with in minutes of asking. Everything went super smoothly and we really appreciated all of his suggestions to enhance our pool. What we did: *new deck with a demo on old deck *replaster *coping *filter replace and all electrical (we love our light)!! *upgraded circulation *start up service What didn't we do?? My family is happy and was grateful our deadline was made... Thank you Angel's Pool... Especially Edward and team!!! You made our Summer :)

They were very clear about what they wanted to do, and they even did a little bit more. They cleaned up and took away some of my old equipment that I no longer needed.

I can't say enough good things! Eduardo gave me a general bid for what I was considering, and I had 3 other companies come out and none even submitted bids as they said they couldn't compete with the quoted bid. After choosing Angels, Eduardo gave me options and advice on various items and we agreed on a contract. They were on time, professional and cleaned everything up. Midway through the project they gave me some options they thought may be good add-ons without any pressure, and I agreed to two of the three ideas. Despite two days of rain, they came in on budget and on time, with only one mistake (the coping I chose was considerably higher than the old stone border, so the concrete was about 2 inches higher than it had been, and once poured prevented two French Doors from opening completely, but they trimmed the bottom of the doors at no charge and fixed the issue within two days). It was a pleasure working with Angel's Pools and their people. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
