 + -1 moreWe chose Academy at random from the phone book. They sent out one guy to do the work (Cliff). He was friendly, thorough, and didn't take too long to complete the work (about an hour or two). He showed us what he was doing to our old/existing locks and explained why we needed it. The work seems to have been good since we have had no problems since.
Description of Work: When we moved into your new (1923) house, our front and back door knobs/locks needed work. Our older locks in front where sticky and the back door lock was too flimsy. They ended up examining and lubricated our existing lock, latch, and dead bold on our front door. They replaced the door knob/lock in the back with a new mechanism.

 + -1 moreTHE GENTLEMAN THAT ANSWERED THE PHONE DID NOT SOUND PARTICULARLY FRIENDLY, BUT WAS EFFICIENT. THEY HAD A LOCKSMITH TO MY HOME IN ABOUT 45 MINUTES, LONGER THAN ESTIMATED, BUT STILL ACCEPTABLE. THE LOCKSMITH WAS PLEASANT, FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.
Description of Work: I NEEDED THE DEADBOLT LOCK ON A SECURITY SCREEN DOOR UNLOCKED TO GAIN ACCESS TO MY HOME.
