+ 0 moreI practically cried tears of joy when they were done, I couldn't believe what a fantastic job they did! It was like getting my new kitchen back. I won't go into the ugly six months saga of getting this done, suffice to say I was looking at having to re-do all the granite in my kitchen for $10,000. Jim was communicative, punctual, scrupulous, and clearly committed to doing an excellent job at a great price. They worked quietly and quickly, and made a great effort at clean up (but getting that fine layer of 'silt' that flew around the kitchen certainly wasn't in their job description).
Description of Work: Repair crack in granite island in kitchen, caused by shoddy work covered up by fabricator (separately reviewed). Granite installed about 3.5 years prior during kitchen remodel (problem brought to fabricator's attention who did another cosmetic repair). Required craftsman to break off cracked portion (about 4" x 30"), build up / shim underneath, fabricate edges, epoxy, then buff surfaces to obtain a polished, smooth surface to blend in perfectly with the rest of the island. Two people working 9:30 to 4:30 w about 1.5 hours off for lunch while epoxy set up.

They gave us some good tips on maintenance and our counters look so much better. They are very reasonable compared to the company that did the work last time - we would definitely use them again.

Now, you have to know where the repair is located to be able to see it, i.e., the marble looks like it never splayed. In addition, TopRepair discounts your bill if you contribute to one of their favorite charities.

+ -1 moreThe owner and his son came out as scheduled, were very neat and efficient, and did an excellent job. The price was very reasonable too. After Top Repair was done, all the scratches were gone and the countertops were like new. They also got rid of the two low spots left over from the previous botched work. I am very happy with Top Repair and highly recommend the company.
Description of Work: My Corian countertops had been marred by a contractor who tried to refinish them but who did a terrible job. Besides leaving scratches, he also left a couple of low spots that were noticeable when sighting along the counter top. I found Top Repair through a referral from a countertop installer. Top Repair only refinishes and repairs countertops. The owner and his son came and completely refinished the countertops. They did an excellent job.
