A contract was signed and deposit for the work was submitted. The deposit check was cashed the very same day. The provider agreed to do the work on Sept. 13. On Sept. 12th I called to confirm the appointment for installation and Steve Hunt told me the materials would not be in until Sept. 17. I told him I wanted the job done on Sept. 18. I asked him to call on the 17th and let me know if the materials were received. I had to call the office, the cell phone number provided, AND send an email on the 17th before I received an email stating the materials were still not in from the supplier. The workmen did a good job except they left all of the trash from the job on the side of my house. The contract specifically stated all debris would be removed. I had to send an email asking that the debris be removed. The siding looks good. The service failure for Siding Pros was in their communication and follow up. At one point they told me I could call the supplier to find out about the materials. I told them my contract is with you, not the supplier. Upon completion of the job and final payment submission (again the check was cashed that very day,) it took four requests before all of the lien releases were provided. When Steve Hunt showed up to pick up his check, he asked me "what am I going to get? An A or a B?" I told him he was going to get the chance to sign the contract stating I had paid him in full. He then said, "oh, you've been coached." I am an older woman. The insinuation from Steve's comment was that I wouldn't have known to ask for his signature without someone telling me to ask. It is insulting and sexist. He has no idea my involvement in other contracting jobs.
