Arturo came to the house for a preliminary inspection. He was on time and very professional. He was the only one of three offers that put his estimate in writing. (Big points for that). He was not the cheapest but he was the only one of the 3 that was a certified arborist. After a slight delay due to illness, he agreed on a day and time. He and his crew were spot-on-time at 7:30AM. The guys went right to work. His men moved breakables out of the way, always a good idea, and worked on all three projects at once. The line of eight cypress trees were topped in a very uniform manner as agreed. The bay was timed and laced in a very natural manner. Arturo and discussed each area on the bay that needed to be done and he (yes, he was in there climbing too) and his workers followed the directions exactly. Arturo stated the alder tree is in bad shape from the drought and may need to come out in 6-8 months. On a scale of 1-10, and 10 being best, they did a 9.5 on cleanup when the work was finished. If it comes to needing more tree service, I will definitely have them back to do the work.

How'd it go? AMAZING! These guys are like a well-oiled machine. Like a basketball team. They worked together SO WELL to get the job done incredibly fast. A huge, like, 30 foot tree completely gone in 1.5 hours. They showed up on time, they took the tree down without damaging anything else in the yard (roof of nearby garage, or fencing, or other bushes). They ground down the stump and cleaned up all the debris. I was very impressed with all the equipment and safety gear. They clearly are masters at this work and know what they're doing. I would definitely go to Arturo again for tree service. His team did exactly what I wanted, and very professional. Thank you, Arturo!

Everything was excellent. Arturo came to the house and gave me a proposal. I asked him to add me to his insurance policies and he provided me copies of both his general liability and workers comp policy endorsements. Once we decided on a date, his crew arrived on time. He and his father worked with the crew and were present during the entire job. They used a crane and were able to remove all of the trees in one day and minimized the debris at my house. I would not hesitate to use them again or refer them to others.

They did a very good job, and they cleaned up afterward. The tree was close to a neighbor's garage, and they used ropes to lower each large chunk of the tree down to the ground. Very, very polite and professional. We would not hesitate to recommend Lopez Tree Service.

Some difficulties in getting in touch in the beginning but once we agreed to the time, the team was very punctual and professional. Cleanup was very thorough. i've used this company multiple times and would continue to do so in the future

We've been relying on Arturo to take care of our trees for years. He's trimmed ficus trees along our fence, he's trimmed palm trees, pine trees, our giant walnut tree, our liquid amber, our mock orange, our sumac and last week he removed our huge Pink Dombeya tree because it had died. We've been in the house for 10 years, and the tree was well established when we bought it, so it was a really big job. Arturo and his guys showed up at 7:30 a.m., I left to take the kids to school at 7:45 and, by the time I had returned, he was finished removing the tree and everything was cleaned up. I got home around 9:00 am. Arturo's guys work very hard. They are fast and do a fantastic job cleaning everything up when they're done. When they were removing the Dombeya, I went out to see how they were going about it. Arturo had climbed up the trunk with a chain saw and was cutting the big limbs down himself. He doesn't ask anything of his guys that he wouldn't do himself and I think they really respect him for it. He's fair, honest, reliable and a really good man. He knows what he's doing and I trust him with our trees.

We used Lopez Tree Service several years ago and were happy with their work; so we called them again this time. Our yard had become overgrown. We wanted to reduce the height of many of the shrubs to make the yard easier to maintain since my husband is getting older and less stable on ladders. They took out a cluster of three dead birch trees including the stumps, reduced the size of a Eugenia hedge, pruned a Japanese pine, a large ficus tree, two podocarpus shrubs/trees, a pyracantha shrub and a xylosma shrub. We were suggesting cutting everything back pretty severely, but upon Arturo?s advice, we moderated our plans somewhat. Work got under way with two guys, but ultimately there were several guys working on the property. They were efficient, thorough, and cleaned up after themselves and then some. Not unexpectedly, a sprinkler pipe broke in the process of taking out the cluster of birch trees. Arturo offered to fix the break, and did so. We found Arturo and his crew easy to work with. We appreciate being able to discuss our ideas, and hear his suggestions. He was okay with it even if we didn?t take his advice; but we mostly did take his advice, trusting his expertise on what was good for the particular plant. The job took a little over 3 hours to complete.

Everything went superb! Arturo has cut our trees for the past 7-years, and we have long valued his professional demeanor and excellent work. Arturo and his crew arrived right at the designated time, and went to work immediately. Our Ficus Tree is extremely large and covers much of our backyard; and, while I expected that it would take a fair amount of time to trim the tree, the work was completed within 90-minutes (which also included trimming our smaller avocado tree). Better yet, our yard was left immaculate, as Arturo and his crew swept, raked, and cleaned everything. Both trees look beautiful, and we will be calling Arturo and his crew again next year. Overall, Arturo and his workers are professional, courteous, and extremely responsible regarding all aspects of their work.

Second visit to Lopez tree service.The initial contact took a while to set up but once we decided on the date/times, the guys were prompt, flexible and very professional. The quality of work is very good including clean-up and haul away. They took care in cutting near power lines in the backyard. Artoro is very knowledgeable about different types of trees, what they need and how to trim them. This is in contrast to other folks i've have asked for quotes for that just wrote down "Trim tree in back" instead of the specific species, how to do it, how much to cut, etc.

Arturo at Lopez Tree Service is amazing!! So knowledgeable, professional, punctual, honest, and fairly priced. I actually had the option of having one of my trees cut back for free by a contact through our real estate agent, but I trusted Lopez so much I preferred to pay for their service than to risk it with anyone else just to save money. I would hire Lopez again in a heartbeat.

Wow. It's not often we have found a service provider that is as professional and accommodating as Arturo and his team. We were very happy with the whole process from the initial onsite estimate and the excellent work. Arturo should be very proud of the business he has built.

Arturo showed up on time to give estimate for work. He was professional and knowledgeable. He was able to get work done earlier than promised. The work was done as promised and his crew cleaned everything up after they were done. I would certainly use this company again.

This young man ( Arturo Lopez ) really knows how to run a business. First of all, he returned my calls in a timely manner, when others did not. He was very prompt, and showed on time, when he said he would. A man of his word. I was really satisfied with Arturo and his crews work. The job was done well, including the CLEAN-UP. I WOULD use them again for sure. Not the cheapest, but definitely the best.

A good family business. The estimate was accurate and lower than 2 others. Arturo Jr. was great working around our crazy schedule and did what he could to fit us in as soon as possible. Arturo Sr and his crew were on time, friendly and professional. Our rather large tree was gone, and the site was cleaned up within the hour . I miss the old tree, but they were the right ones for the job. I will hire them again.

Arturo contacted me the same day I messaged him and set up an appointment for an estimate. He showed up on schedule, described the conditions of my trees and how he could improve the previous hatchet jobs. I had a another company bid on the job but Arturo's was much less so I went with Lopez Tree. There was a break in his schedule so his team was able to start the job early which was great for me because we were experiencing high winds and I just wanted the job done. Arturo managed his team like a drill sergeant and I had every confidence that the job would be completed in short order. Every branch, leaf and palm frond was cleaned up and they left the job spotless. My original bid was just for the two eucalyptus but we made a deal for the palm tree for an additional $200. It was a fair deal. Long story short - I'm never going back to the weekend mow and blow guys that typically troll our neighborhood. You want someone like Lopez Tree - they're licensed, bonded, insured and registered arborists. That last one is important if you live in Glendale where there are severe fines for the homeowner if you don't follow the rules regarding protected CA Oaks and Sycamores.

Lopez was prompt, thorough, and cleaned up nicely. Trees were looking the best i've ever seen in my 20+ years here.

Since buying my house a couple of years ago I've had probably 20 cards and flyers dropped by offering tree trimming services. Given the potential upcoming El Nino storms, I recently decided to move forward with a trim. As they had excellent Angie's list ratings, I contacted Lopez Tree Service to have them come out and give me a quote. Arturo swung by a couple of days ago to take a look at the tree and I just now had a face-to-face talk with him about it. Regardless of the large number of flyers I've received, and regardless of the opportunity to make a sale, Arturo let me know that my tree did not need trimming - that in fact doing so would cause it harm. Needless to say, Arturo's professionalism and concern for my best interests has won my business for any future need I may have.

Arturo and his crew are great. They arrived on schedule and worked quickly (and safely!) and before I knew it, my huge tree was gone. From cutting down the large branches and the trunk, to feeding the wood chipper, to grinding down the stump, to cleaning up the debris, they all worked in coordination with each other and the job appeared to go smoothly. I appreciate that everything was cleaned up so nicely when they were done. Arturo is hard-working and gracious, and his professional attitude is reflected in the cooperation and work ethic of his crew. My neighbor asked if he could have some of the chipped wood for mulch and they were happy to accommodate by leaving a giant mound of the stuff on his property. And I couldn?t be happier schedule-wise! I called him on Saturday, he came to see me on Monday, and the work was done on Tuesday. I highly recommend.

Arturo responded to my first contact call within two hours. He arrived the next day for an estimate. He is a certified arborist, and walked the property with us assessing which trees were healthy and which had to be removed for the safety of the house. He assured us that he would be on site for the entire job. He also told us the job could be done in one day, as he brings a large crew. He gave us an estimate that we feel was very fair - approximately $300 a tree for removal, extra for the trimming. We agreed on a date to do the work. Arturo and crew arrived on the appointed date, on time and set to work. I was amazed at how fast, safe and efficient they were at removing the trees. The removal impacted our next door neighbors as well. And Arturo and the crew worked on both of our properties. The work was impeccable. And before leaving they cleaned up both my and my neighbor's yards. My neighbor was so delighted with their work that he tipped them! I can recommend this company without reservation and will use their services again.

Nothing. I was very pleased with working with them the first time and left a nice review. However, i have called and left about six to eight messages over as many weeks using multiple media: email, phone, texts, and have not received a response. Very disappointing.

I thought the Mexican Army was marching up my driveway. Six men wearing orange shirts marching in a single line and each one carrying some type of weapon. Wow! They all marched right by me and went straight to the backyard and laid their weapons down. Of course their weapons were what they used to work with, but ,well....Each man knew exactly what they were supposed to do and went straight to work. They were done in a little over two hours. They came on time and were very professional. I don't usually take the time to write long reviews, but I took the time because Arturo does what most providers do NOT, and it is extremely important to me. He calls back and he calls back fast. He is very busy so if you don't get a call immediately, be sure that you will get one in a few hours. He gave me a written bid and it was exactly so when I paid. No extras tacked. I don't know if the price was expensive or not because I liked him and his attitude when he came out that I hired him on the spot. Didn't care if there were cheaper people because I knew he would do it correctly.

He showed up on time with a full crew of people. Professionally handled trees without stressing them. Clean up was thorough. Assisted with placing 4 potted plants back to their place. The hedge looked clean and neat and will encourage plant to grow in the direction it needs to grow. All debris was mulched and sent away. No mess left behind. This was the second time I have used them and am happy with their work.

I'm having my roof replaced so I needed to trim the trees from hanging over the roof. I called Lopez Tree Service left a message and Arturo called me back within the hour. We set up a time to look at what I wanted done and 2 days later Arturo showed up.and gave me a great estimate. I had 4 Oak trees trimmed, a Maple tree scaled back and a fig tree removed. All was done on one day and for a fair price. The work was done while I was at work so when I got home, I noticed I needed a bit more cut back. I called Arturo, told him what I wanted and he returned the next day at no charge! The work was completed and the clean up was immaculate. There was NO residue left behind. The only disappointment I had was waiting a couple weeks to get the job done, because they have customers lined up, in addition to a rainy day! That speaks to how good they are. I will absolutely call them again in a few months to trim a few more trees!

Arturo was very nice and explained clearly what work I would need now and in the future due to the downed limb. He charged a better price than my other estimates and he even knocked off an extra 10%. I would use them again.
