Went well, I did not anticipate the mess this would leave, when I was unhappy with the initial cleanup they did, one phone call and Arturo agreed to come back and clean up to my satisfaction immediately. Thorough and professional. Excellent job on thinning out the carrotwood tree.

A real pleasure doing business with him. The trees look fabulous and we are very pleased with the entire process with Arturo and his men. Highly recommend!! Would definitely hire again and recommend to anyone!!

Called to have Arturo come out and look at the trees. They had worked on these trees 2 years ago but things got so fast in Southern California. Arturo showed up on time. I told him I was looking to cut the trees back from the house but keep privacy in tact. He explained what they would do and gave me an estimate by email the next day. After giving the go-ahead it did take 3-4 weeks to get an appointment. They are busy. The guys showed up at 7:30AM and worked until 4:40PM. It is amazing how much they cut and took away. They know trees and where and where not to cut them. Very happy with the way the trees came out. No need to ever use any one else.

Great. Unavoidably, lengthy periods of rain (which kept moving back their schedule) and exceedingly forceful winds (which created emergency responses from longterm customers needed downed trees posing safety dangers removed) pushed back the time for our intended plan for work, but Lopez kept in touch with us, explained the circumstances, and made sure we were not overlooked. We were very happy with the work and communications.

They showed up on time with everything they needed to do the complete job. As they cut the tree they put everything in the grinder all the way down to the stump. Next they used their stump grinder to grind the stump. They cleaned up everything and in what seemed very fast they were 100% done. Others wanted over double to do the same job and I can't think of how the job could have gone any better.

Overall it was excellent. One tree service never called me back another called today after two weeks. I called Arturo only a few days ago and he called me back and had an estimate the next day. He said he could come within two weeks but he had a cancellation and came today which was excellent! The tree was close to my house. His crew is great and very careful. I thought it all went very fast, 2.5 hours and they cleaned up everything. It could not have gone any better. The price was very reasonable as well. I enjoy hiring people that are passionate about what they do and do the work like they were doing it for a family member. I got that feeling from Arturo. My neighbor came out and was impressed as well and said he was gong to call him for tree service he needs. Will definitely recommend them to my friends.

I called to have Arturo give a quote. He arrived on time and gave a quote on the spot. It was right around xmas so he asked me to call right after the holidays which I did. He said he was busy to call again in a week. I did call 3 times and received no response after leavin gmessages

Arturo the younger has taken on the business aspects of Lopez Tree Service and he is about as professional as you can get. He does not, however, have anyone other than himself to take calls and you might have to call a time or two to link up. Once you do, you will receive his full attention and he will go out of his way to be of service. We were very lucky and Arturo the elder came out to the house to supervise and participate in the actual work. He has been doing this for a very long time and was extremely gracious and fun to work with. (In other reviews you will note that this is a family business involving both father and son.) We had a full day of work to get done and they showed up with a team of four at the appointed hour. The work was terrific and, once done, they cleaned up everything and left it looking neater than when they arrived. A lot of the work revolved around removing dead and dying trees and, frankly, almost anyone can do that. (Though the work was on a hillside and a bit precarious.) Where they shined was the crowning and thinning of some very tall and dense trees on our property. We were scared that the trees might be brutally hacked back but Arturo and his team truly earned the title "tree surgeon." They look great and will continue to weather our ongoing drought with less stress. Will definitely be using them again.

Arturo was very responsive. The work was enormous. They had to bring in a huge 30 ton crane to lift some of the tree stumps and roots. He works with his father. So they were both on site with their crew. If you look at the URL I posted you will see the enormity of the work and the crew working. Since then I have been in touch with Arturo regarding triming and or removing other trees. I was that pleased. He alwys responds to my Text messages.

They're responsive, they're on time, they were quick with the work and they cleaned up. They did exactly what was agreed to and it was done in a quick manner.

This is how it is supposed to work. They gave me a great estimate, told me what they would do and, on the given day, arrived (on time) and did exactly what the said they would. Clean, efficient, friendly, fast. One of the best contracting experiences I've ever had. Very professional.

My very large cedar tree had a broken branch. Arturo rolled up with his crew and it was gone in a matter of minutes including clean up and disposal of the wood. These guys are the best!

Great. Arturo Lopez visited my home and walked through with me what he would do and gave me a competitive quote. Although, he was not the lowest bidder, his quote was much less than one bidder who had done a lot of quality work in the neighborhood. The lowest bidder, I had actually used previously and they did a fine job. However, given the scale of this job, Lopez's top rating with Angie's List and Lopez's familiarity with my township, I chose Arturo. Lopez did an excellent job. They worked hard and fast. A huge amount of residual foliage was generated and they did an impressive job in grinding the waste and cleaning up after the work was done. I was impressed with how tidy things looked after they completed the work. I also appreciated how willing Arturo was to start the job to match my schedule. It was an indication that he understands the importance of customer satisfaction and what it takes to get the business.

Arturo and his team arrive on time and everyone was so professional all day and did absolutely beautiful work. These are simply the best and most professional trees specialists in Southern California - period! I will only use Arturo's moving forward.

This is the THIRD time I have used Lopez Tree Service. Arturo's knowledge of trees and shrubs is extensive. He knows every plant variety and exactly how to maintain them. He shows up exactly when he says he's going to and cleans up before he leaves. I love this company! If all contractors were this good, the world would be a better place!

My appointment was originally scheduled for the beginning of next week; however, Arturo told me if something opened up sooner, he would call me. As it turned out, he was able to fit my job in for today. A crew of 5 men showed up right on time and immediately went to work. The original proposal was for the two trees to be cut down and the stumps ground up. When the crew arrived, they discovered that the stump grinder machine would not fit through my gate. They ended up removing both trees, roots and all, even better for me! The crew was courteous, hard-working, and very neat in their clean up efforts. I was very impressed by this company and would not hesitate to use them again.

I had a few home projects going on at the same time including the tree trimming and landscaping mentioned here. Arturo was by far the most professional of all the people I had come out to my home. He knew exactly what he was talking about and more importantly in a sales role, knew how to present it to me. He showed up on time, walked me though how he was going to fix my issues, and then presented me with a professional quote before he left. I still had a couple more people coming out but already knew he was the likely winner. The others came and left and even though Arturo wasn’t the cheapest, he had my business. At that point all he had to do was deliver on what he presented to me and I would happily pay him what he asked. Finding a professional that can deliver based on the expectations they themselves have presented is, unfortunately, a rare thing these days and is without a doubt worth paying a little more for. At his point my biggest fear was something would go south on the day of the job. Well here we are, the day of the job… Guess what, Arturo did not disappoint. His crew was here bright and early ready to get cracking. After a quick review with me they started. It only took them about half a day to get all that taken care of. I did have one concern when I saw the work after they had left. Nothing major but something I wasn’t happy with so I called up Arturo and let him know my concern. He was quick to address the issue and it has since been resolved. I never expect a job to go down without an issue, this is real life, stuff happens… But how we respond says a lot and Arturo’s response and overall quality of work and service is nothing but top notch. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone that is in need of such services and plan on calling him again when needed.
