Legends of the Fall - Tree Gods

We had several tall trees to prune. We had bids that had a range of $5000 from lowest to highest. They had the lowest bid, by far. We did not go with them for subjective reasons. First, although they arrived on time, despite a last minute call, we did not appreciate them taking the liberty to enter our backyard without invitation. Second, nice people, but there is a reason why we have one mouth and two ears - it's so we listen more than we talk. We had the feeling they had more to say than they wanted to hear. All our questions were answered, but it was a chore to get words in edgewise. Also, it would be a good idea if they keep statements on illegal immigrants workers to themselves. And, it's great that you are proud to be a Christian, but that is totally irrelevant to a business transaction. Keep that to yourself, too. We would have liked to have gone with them, but we were not comfortable. This is not meant as a put down on them. Part of a business/consumer relationship is the personal. It did not work for us.
