Tom and his wife are some of the nicest people you'll meet. They do what they say they will, when they say they will and are always polite and professional. They do fantastic quality work, and helped us gain the extra space we needed before our daughter was born. The garage conversion was fairly extensive, and Tom was there from permit to inspection for every step. Some of the things that this job included: - Removed garage door, poured foundation wall and completed wall - Raised the floor to meet the rest of the house - Contructed two closets - Moved the interior door - Installed two windows - Full insulation in walls and ceiling - Electrical (worked with our contractor) - Ran A/C vent - Trim, blinds and paint For this job, we wanted to be able to do some of the work ourselves to save some money, and most of the other contractors we talked to were not willing to work with us. For example, we already had the permits and plans at our cost, we wanted to buy the windows so we got the tax break, and we already had an electrical contractor who we knew. Tom was super easy to work with, and even helped us navigate the permitting and inspection process. By working with us and allowing us to participate in the process, we saves several thousand dollars over paying someone else to do things like stand in line at the city office. We've had Tom do some other jobs for us over the last year as well, like fix our garage door framing that was cracking. He's always done incredible work, and we've referred him to many of our friends. He and his wife are a small team, so they don't work as fast as a larger company might, but it's worth the wait!
