First thing Friday a.m., Rafael and Francisco arrived and started right to work. I had previously contracted with another company to remove the debris from the area in which Alpine was working, but that company didn't do what they were supposed to do and left quite a mess for Alpine to deal with. And Rafael and Francisco dealt with the entire situation with a great attitude and did a super good job. They removed a lot of the hedges that impeded their part of the job, installed 8 bumper posts for which they had to dig down 2-1/2 feet, installed new chain link fence, and a new gate. All the broken fencing was removed and all the mess was cleaned up when they were done several hours later. I couldn't have asked for a better resolution to my problem. Raphael and Francisco worked so hard and were so polite and easy to work with, and Terry was extremely helpful and understanding. They made me feel so much better after the shock of the stolen car invasion. The price was totally fair and the work and customer service they provided was top rate. BTW, Terry had already made arrangements for SDGand E, Helix Water, and whoever else had to be contacted before any digging could be done, so this was a seamless matter for me. I recommend Alpine Fence without reservation. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!!!!! If I could give them 20 stars, I would!!! :-)

The installers arrived on time as scheduled and completed the installation the same day. My neighbor and I were both very pleased with the and quot;new lookand quot;, the quality of the installation and the professionalism of the workers. The price was somewhat high, but the end result was worth it.

They were very reasonably priced. They did a beautiful job. They are very good at what they do. They are very polite, friendly and professional. Despite the windy and hot weather they had a very cheerful attitude. They did a better job than I expected even.

The sales people, and the guys who come out and do the work are very professional. We have used them twice. They come out and take care of it as well.

Alpine Fencing was one of three bids. Not wanting a new fence at this time, he was thorough in his recommendation, the process to repair the fence and the cost. He was open, honest, and very professional. After making the decision to use Alpine Fencing to repair the fence, an appointment was set up for the work to be done. The two gentlemen, Jose and Juan, arrived at the house within the time frame specified; and were also professional. They both introduced themselves, and the crew leader explained the process to repair the fence, which left no doubt as to the work that was going to be done that day. They we done in little over an hour and cleanup for me was very minimal, which I really appreciated! We are very happy with the repairs that were made. In fact, we called Mike for another possible fence job in the front yard but after his thorough explanation of our options, along with San Diego City codes regarding fences, we decided not to have the job done.|However, in the future, if we ever need another fence or repairs to a fence, we will be calling Alpine Fencing.

Mike Petruccelli gave us an initial estimate when we were trying to decide whether to include the fencing in a deck project. We drove out to Alpine Fencing to look at fencing options up close and they were accommodating and helpful. Mike came out a 2nd time to rework his estimate after we had decided on a different approach and design. Mike was very professional and helpful in helping us decide to go with white posts and rails and almond smooth boards and we're glad we listened to him. Alpine Fencing had a schedule opening and we able to schedule for the following week. Mike Kamp, the foreman with one other person did all the work. Very professional and lots of hard work. They completed the project in 2 days with the exception of 2 sections that Mike was going to return to properly level. Mike completed the leveling on Monday 12/2/13. We, along with our adjacent neighbors are extremely happy with the fence and improvement.

For years I resisted the idea of a fence across the back of our property. We're on a golf course, and I was afraid a fence would detract from the view. We had bids from 2 companies, and Alpine Fence was competitive in pricing, but far ahead of the other company in responsiveness and professionalism. Bryan and Jesus just finished our installation, and we're completely satisfied. It looks great (not obstructive in the least), they were careful in asking how we wanted the placement (even changing the way the gate latch was installed), and gave great instructions on maintenance (and the eventual PVC re-do we'll need to do to keep excess water off, which we expected). Overall: very pleased, looks terrific, and I'm already thinking of how many big red bows I'll need to get to decorate it at Christmas.

Excellent. Jim and his entire crew were true professionals. They worked with our schedule, started on time and finished on time. Very friendly crew. Jim returned phone calls in a timely manner. We are very happy with the results. My wife said and quot;It looks like it has been there the whole time.

Pros: Estimate submitted on time Knowledge of products Professionalism of staff, including work crew. Made applicable corrections when asked; but had to manage staff. Quality of installation. Cons: Multiple quotes, with no cost break down after intial quote. Delays due to staff vacations; no assigned/informed back up. Failed to treat three projects as separate, individual projects; caused unnecessary delays. Work crew did minimal site clean up; left mess and h****** landscaping.

Went very well, Alpine workers were very friendly, did an excellent job and cleaned up after their work. I was very pleased with the outcome of the work. It made my house look awesome.

It went well. They did a good job. They were efficient. They showed up on time and completed the job they were supposed to do. I was totally pleased with all their services. I would use them again.

I called the boss to ask if he could add on a small section so it would all look the same. He said no because his guys were on overtime already. Yet he went next door to me and asked him if he wanted to have his/and my fence replaced as part of the and quot;dealand quot;. My neighbor said and quot;noand quot;. They left 3 large pieces of cement in my yard. When I went 2 doors down where they were now working and asked if they would come and get them, they said they would and quot;be right downand quot;. 2 hours later, when they had not come, I told my neighbor who had hired the guy about it, and he said HE would take care of it. 10 minutes later, they were here to pick them up. They did not knock at my door, just entered the yard thru latched gate, and then complained to me that my dog jumped all over them. They were not careful with my yard, knocking over my rosebush, and trampled some flowers. The fence looks very unprofessional. Not what you would expect from a fencing company. When my friends and family came over, the first thing they said was, and quot;who did your fenceand quot;? There are multiple gaps between the fence and the ground that we will need to fix at our own expense. They put a large, ugly runner board along the bottom of the fence, and put the fence boards on top of that. The colors don't even match. The fence is now over 6 feet high, which is not up to code. The boards were put up uneven, and one of them now has a large crack down it. I think they would have done a lousy job anyway, but their rude treatment of women vs men was totally uncalled for. .

The service went very well. They were professional and timely. We had no problems and everything was left in clean order. It was a good experience.

Kurt is beyond amazing! Such a kind and patient guy. It took me forever to decide what I wanted (I upgraded twice from original plan). The fence is two-tone clay w/textured boards and almond trim. Kurt re-designed the access to back slope, he made several really good suggestions -- his advice is always given in a very positive way. I have trouble making decisions without photos, so he gave me several places in the area to look at. He was also very helpful to my neighbors in handling the common fence between our homes -- all with a separate contract and personalized attention to them as well. The installers were Garrett and Robert -- both also beyond amazing. I really mean it! They are extremely professional, very experienced, neat and clean and able to work in the summer heat like it was no big deal. They had to come back at a later date to complete installation of an interior section (once we assembled our lawn shed). Garrett explained everything he was doing very clearly, he was always open to options in working with the hardscape crew. I have recommended Alpine Fence many times because of these three guys (oh, and Sharon in the office as well). Great, great company! I did spend more than I originally planned, but it was totally worth it!

They do a good job. They had somebody come out first who is in charge of the job, give you a price, he scheduled the work and then the crew comes out and they were a very good crew.

It went well. The new fence was about 2 inches off the property line. It was fine but it wasn't quite at the same location.

The installers arrived on time and seemed to work efficiently. They both appeared to be experienced and knew what they were to do and how to do it. The installation required that some vegetation be removed from around the old fence. In doing this the installers cut down one of our bushes that was on the inside of the existing fence. I am unhappy that they destroyed some of our plantings that did not need to be cut down. They also trampled on several flowers that were along side the fence and they must now be replaced. That was not necessary. They just did not pay attention. They needed a board to close a gap where the new vinyl fence met an existing wooden fence. They took a fence board that was along the side of our house and used it to close the gap. They did not ask if they could use it, I discovered that they had done this after they were gone. If they had asked, I would have agreed they could use it. What upset me was that they did not ask. They simply took the board. But the most annoying thing was the lack of clean-up. The installers apparently had more trouble removing the old fence and installing the new fence than they anticipated. They broke one sprinkler line and had to leave to get parts to repair it. This took more time. This was a Friday installation. We live in Poway and they needed to return to Alpine by the end of the day so they were in a hurry to leave. They arrived around 9:00AM and were gone before 3:00PM. They did a terrible job of cleaning up. My wife and I spent over an hour picking up debris, plant cuttings, sweeping and filling gaps under the fence so our dogs would not escape. I also discovered that they left a large pile of plant debris in the common area of the HOA. I had to clean this up myself also. I believe that the installers wanted to get done and return to Alpine before the traffic got heavy. To do that they simply did not clean up appropriately and left what I considered an unacceptable mess. Very disappointing. The supervisor of the job never returned on Friday to ensure the job was done correctly. It is now three days later and he has still not returned to inspect the job. I am very displeased with this. The fence looks fine. The clean-up and attention to detail was very lacking. I am not sure I would use them again and I cannot recommend them.

called 2 other fence companies. after many calls the other 2 companies never called me back.Alpine fence called right back, came out and gave a estimate. The work was exceptional, the crew was on time, polite. I highly recommend this company and will use them again.

Alpine Fence did a superior install of all products selected. They were on time, on budget, very clean with the demo work required and most responsive to my concerns. I needed an adjustment to the gates a few weeks after the install and they were very quick to respond. Excellent install, superior product with great after sale resolution.

It was a pleasure doing business with this company from start to finish! Jim, Benny and Patrick all did a great Job! Jim came out and gave the bid. Benny and Patrick installed the wood and chain link fence. We are very pleased with the entire job.

Very prompt and courteous. They also advised me on things which could achieve the look I wanted for less money. They followed up via email to make sure I was happy with the outcome of the project.They completed the project on time. The only small glitch was that they came on two days earlier than I expected. But that was okay. They also had to come back the next day to complete the work, but they were apologetic about that and did not charge me extra. Overall they did a fabulous job.

I would tell the others that they are of very good value and that they do a great job.

I called Alpine Fence Supply and set up an appointment to get a quotation for replacing our old, rusted out wrought iron fence in the front yard. The visit was scheduled for 1:00 PM a few days later. Early in the morning on the scheduled appointment day, I received a call from Alpine Fence Supply that the person who was scheduled to visit our house was sick; however, another employee would be there in his place. An hour or so later, Kurt, an Alpine Fence Supply Project Manager, called to say he would be at our house by 1:00 PM, but could come earlier if we wanted. I told him any time was fine, and he arrived around 11:00 AM. Kurt was fantastic. He was both very professional and very enthusiastic. He showed us their license and insurance information without our even asking. He had samples of different fencing materials, and a large binder showing different fencing options and photos of actual projects where different types of fencing had been installed by Alpine Fence Supply. We had originally planned to have replacement wrought fencing installed, which was fine with Kurt. However, he walked us through various options and sold us on the idea that white vinyl fencing would look great and really blend in with the white trim on our house. The 50 year warranty also was appealing. Once we decided on that option, Kurt took his measurements of our yard to his truck, got out the cell phone, pricing data and calculator, and gave us a firm quote in a few minutes. We agreed with the price, and Kurt said he woould check the installers' schedule and call us. He later called and said they could do the installation on Monday, which gave us the weekend to do some shrub trimming and removal, and stump grinding to allow the fence to be installed further out to the edge of the property. The two man crew arrived around 9:00 AM on Monday, and had the project completed that afternoon. Kurt stopped by just after the installation crew arrived, to be sure that we had no questions or concerns and that the work scope was fully understood.The guys who did the installation were very hard working, as well as being very pleasant and easy to deal with. The team lead was very creative in solving some problems with water lines that inhibited the installation of some fence posts. When the installation was done, they did a good job in cleaning up the entire work area. The finished fence looks terrific. Kurt was right; the white picket fence really goes with the paint and trim on the house. We have received numerous compliments on how good it looks, from neighbors, the mailman, and from our relatives. We thought the price was very fair, the quality of materials and labor were excellent, and everyone we worked with from Alpine Fence Supply, from the women we talked to on the phone, to the installation crew, to, of course, Kurt, were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We definitely recommend them, and would hire them again.

Alpine Fence was superb start to finish. Jim provided a quick, accurate estimate actually giving me better savings than I had anticipated by using Angie's List. Not only that, Alpine provided the lowest bid of all the fencing contractors I contacted; up to $2,100 lower than one company and for the exact same material and job! The installation crew was quick, courteous, professional and did an excellent job. They completed all work in only one day. Overall, my wife and I are extremely satisfied and will have Alpine Fence eventually replace the fence around our backyard as well.

I asked for several bids from several companies. This job involved 3 neighboors since the house had a neighboor on each side. At one point in the bidding process (right when I was ready to cut a deal) one of the neighboors changed their mind about what they wanted. This required another set of bids. Alpine Fence was very friendly and professional. They rebid the job quickly and came in with the lowest bid (out of 3 companies). They put the fence up in 2 days. Everything went well and the fence looks great.
