Description of Work: Replaced condenser. Went very well. He was clean,professional and knowledgeable. I had two other service men that had come out as well. I didn't feel as though I was getting a since that I could trust them, Allen's guy gave me that.

+ -1 moreAndy of Allen's Appliances was responsive and easy to reach. He arrived on time and was very professional and friendly. His diagnosis of my dryer problem also involved his honesty in advising me of the pros and cons of fixing my very old dryer or just buying a new one. In doing so his knowledge helped me to decide to buy new but ended up eliminating the repair job itself for him. I will call him for any job in the future and would recommend him to other people.

+ -1 moreI called Andy to fix a washer that stopped working and started leaking water after I tried to wash a stuffed dog bed and it and quot;explodedand quot;. Turns out it burned up the motor and stuffing was EVERYWHERE! Andy came out on a moment's notice, fixed the motor AND cleaned out the entire interior of the washer. (Did I mention this was at a friend's house and needed this done IMMEDIATELY?!) The second time Andy came to fix a leaking ice maker in my built-in refrigerator. Andy offered recommendations to repair the problem that were cost effective and talked me out of replacing the entire icemaker. What contractor does that? Allen's appliance is prompt, fairly priced, and the only contractor I'll use for any future appliance repairs.
Description of Work: I've used Andy at Allen Appliance on two separate occasionsk: to fix a broken washing machine and to fix a leaking ice-maker on my refrigerator.
