A-1 TOM WINDOW COVERINGS

There was kind of a delay from their end. When they said the shades would be ready at a particular time they weren?t. It took some callings from my end for them to finally to get the blinds installed. They did a good job. Next time I would like to get few other estimates and compare it before choosing anybody.

I stopped by their location without calling ahead. There was a note on the door, with a phone number, saying they were out on an installation but call anyway. The person on the phone told me to go ahead and leave my broken screen at the back door. My new screen was ready the next day.

A-1 Tom Window Covering was to install shades for our new vinyl windows. Sean Gaitan was an hour late. He measured the windows, deposit given, and the shades were to be delivered in one week (from up North?) Sean did not follow-up with the order and delivery schedule. Installation set up for Friday, 3:30p. I received Sean s 12:45p voice message on that Friday. We have been installing all day and we are pretty busy, I will not be able to come at 3:30p, but if it s Ok with you, I can be there either 6p or 7p. If you call the shop, my cell will pick up the shop calls. I called Sean to say Ok. I waited for him--no show, no call! On Monday, I canceled and asked for my deposit refund. Sean left a voice message agonizing and offered to refund my deposit (needed my zip code?) or he could come the next day to install the shades minus the labor cost. NO, cancel my order and return my deposit! Note: As of today Thursday, no check! If needed, I will take further action!

They are reasonably priced and nice people to work with. Arrive and finish work on time and take responsibility to come when I had a question. The person I worked with was Sham, a nice fellow.

A-1 TOM WINDOW COVERINGS HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS SINCE 1947 AND THERE'S A REASON WHY. THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB AND I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH THE FINISHED PRODUCT. I'LL DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN.
