It went fine. painter was self motivated, did the work quickly and at the end of the first job asked if he could paint another area he saw outside that needed some paint because he still had more time to finish a full day's worth.

Contacted Angie's List to get the name and number on ad special was told it would not be put on my card until after the job date. Called paint company talked to Toby and found their timing wasn't going to work for my needs (outdoor fall job). Called Angie's List back to cancel and here I am filling out a refund form.

Woodiwiss Painting deserves every bit of their straight A ratings. They did a beautiful job on my house and made the project painless for me. Joe took the time to advise me about different types of paint and helped me save money by picking the right ones. The crew was polite, careful, tidy, and kept me informed about their progress. When they couldn't work one day due to rain, they came on Saturday to make up the time. Due to their excellent ratings, Woodiwiss Painting is in high demand. You might have to wait a bit until they can fit your job into their schedule but they are well worth waiting for.

His response to my email request was quick and even though he wasn't available to do the job I needed done he did go out of his wasy to recommend someone who could. What a nice thing to do . Very professional and eager to help with my request. Thank you.

Because we reduced the scope of what we wanted done, we did not engage Woodiwiss at this time. But we found their professionalism so impressive that we will certainly contact them for a larger painting job.

I scheduled a quote to paint the full interior of our 1300 sq ft townhouse. The appointment with Joe was really easy to schedule and he showed up on time. The only reason I'm not giving an A is because the price was incredibly high. It was over 3 times more what we ended up paying for the job from another company, and twice as much as another quote we got. Although they were very nice to work with, I don't I could recommend them with such an inflated price.

The project estimator, Joe, and the owner, Toby Woodiwiss, were very friendly but professional in our initial meetings with them to discuss the work and obtain a cost estimate. They both worked with us in suggesting different shades of color options for the different rooms, both walls and trim colors, including painting small sections of one wall with the different shades so we could determine which we liked best. No other painter we have used in the past offered to do this. The crews were also professional and did a very thorough job of prepping the work area, moving furniture to the center of the room as needed and covering them. They also made sure that we were kept aware of their planned work schedule. When each day?s work was complete, they did their best to make the home livable. Our hardwood floors were completely covered with painter?s paper rolls and taped to prevent any damage. Toby, the owner, came by almost every day to see how the project was progressing and see if we had any questions. The work effort on the kitchen cabinets was quite involved since it took several attempts to find a stain and finish coat that met our needs. Woodiwiss was very patient while taking a cupboard door panel back to their shop several times and showing us what it would look and feel like with different stains and finish coats.

Woodiwiss Painting provided an exceptional level of service, combined with outstanding quality of work. They verified my color choices by painting samples on my walls and cabinets a few days before starting the work. They removed my cabinet doors and took them offsite to their own shop for painting. After the fact, they returned cheerfully to make a minor adjustment to one of my drawer fronts.

The team did an excellent job - very professional, well supervised, prompt and very fair on estimate and pricing. Highly recommend them.

Although we decided to not go with Woodiwiss, I want to commend Toby on his professionalism and skill. He gave my home a thorough walk through and went step by step on what he and his crew would do. I received a detailed bid from him within the week and it was exactly as he said it would be. His price was the highest of about 5-6 bids I got but not outrageous at all. It was a fair price. I felt that he would have done an excellent job.

He does excellent work. His prices are fair and he uses great products. He's very knowledgeable and friendly. I have several friends who have also used him for bigger jobs such as home exteriors. Everyone has him back!

I was pleased. It was quite a large project - we had to have 2 people come out. We were away while they were painting. There were only two negatives - they painted 2 windows shut and that they were only there for X number of hours.

They were on time and they did a great job. I spent somewhere between $5,200 or $5,800 with them. I thought that that was a decent value for what they had to do. The quality of their work was great.

They were absolutely the best crew and company I have ever run across. I would use them again for any project I had around the house. I am so happy we choose Toby to complete our kitchen project.

The provider was way too busy ,and did not call back as promised. I called again to set up another appointment and he was going to call back in a few minutes. It never happened. I still haven't heard from him. I'm sure he would have done a good job, but he even said he had more work than he could handle. I would like a full refund for the coupon tht I purchased

This the third we have had Toby and his crew work on our home. We highly recommend them!

Toby was punctual to our house and very nice. He was supposed to send me an estimate for the job, but I never heard from him again even when I left a phone message. So disappointing....

I bought the deal for $300/painter for the whole day. I met with one guy who came out to see what I wanted to have painted. He was very professional and nice. I wanted the double closet doors painted white, touch up in the kitchen & bedroom, baseboards & trim around a small patio door. He said that all the baseboards would not likely be completed in the timeframe, which was fine with me. The painter, another gentleman, came out a few days later. Long story short, he did a nice job painting but only completed the closet doors & a few touch up areas in the bedroom. If I'd known it would take 6 hrs to paint closet doors, I would've told him to spray them. The original guy, I think he was the owner, never followed up to see how things went. This was a huge waste of $$.

Toby was prompt, professional, and responsive at all times. He came out to give us a quote, which he did right away, and also had some helpful suggestions for us. His team, led by foreman Miki, was thorough and polite, very respectful of our new home. We painted in four different colors, including a fantastic blue accent wall. Only complaint is that our fabulous blue paint seemed to find its way to our carpet in just about every room. Very very small spots, and may still be possible to get it out of the carpet, but when the guys tried to clean up they just succeeded in ruining that spot on the carpet, which is a textured berber type, so I asked them to just leave it. Other than that, the job was clean and easy - and fast! Miki was very responsible on the job, and I did a walkthrough with him at the end, pointing out some issues and asking questions. My first big paint job, and I think it went very well.

The crew arrived on time each day. Toby Woodiwiss was onsite each day to manage the project. Toby made several suggestions on paint colors that were helpful. He's seen the colors on walls and that is extremely helpful. The crew were polite and cleaned up each day. They removed and put back all the drape rods, electrical plates and blinds. The team worked well together and that is critical to getting things done quickly and correctly. I got exactly what I wanted and in exactly the amount of time Toby said it would take. Toby also helped me realign some kitchen cabinet doors that he noticed needed adjustment. After he showed me how to adjust them I was able to fix the others....he's a nice guy. I will tell all my friends that this is the company to go to for painting.

Toby is very responsive, helpful and genuine. He was super helpful in helping us to pick just the right colors. Also, he is creative and offered great ideas for future projects and home improvement. His team worked very hard, they were punctual and very communicative throughout the 5 day project. Our living room has very highly slanted ceiling, which was peeling. Also, many cracks throughout our 1939 home. They are all patched and as good as new. We highly recommend Toby and his crew!

I contacted Toby based on the Angie's List reviews. I'm so glad I did. He is one of the most professional and personable people we've worked with. He came over several times with paint samples to make sure we liked the colors we were painting the rooms (we didn't actually like a couple of them so we changed them and he was very patient with us). His guys were always on time. His prices were excellent. I have already recommended Toby to our realtor because when she came by she commented on what a fantastic job they did. I would highly recommend Toby. They did a great job for us and you won't be sorry you hired them!
