Excellent!

Exceeded our expectations.

Mike's installer, Cliff, did great work, and Mike even threw in new interior and exterior trim at very little cost. Plus, of all the bids we got, about 6, his was near the bottom. Mike's references were also excellent. We were really thrilled with our new windows and got lots of compliments on them. I have since recommended US Window Renewal to several friends and neighbors.

My house is a 1929 North Berkeley Hill house & there were old single pane windows in one of my bedrooms. I was planning to replace them with 8 Marvin ultimate Double Hung, not the cheap Tilt PAC. This work just finished about 2 days ago. And this is the best experience I've ever had with a contractor. From the beginning, Terry, the salesperson, worked with me on a detailed plan. I interviewed 3 contractors. Terry's bid was not the lowest. But they provide a very good warranty. You will have peace of mind which is very rarely found from others. In addition, they agreed to finish the windows in their shop so it saved a lot of hassle later. Mike is a total professional. He supervised the installation. The windows turn out beautiful. They are now the focal point in my bedroom. All that's to say, the whole process was extremely smooth & Mike & Terry are the kind of people you can put your faith upon. No doubt I will do the rest of my windows with them.

US Windows was great in providing recommendations on door types, door hardware, and windows based on our needs for reducing noise. Terry provided all the estimates and responded to our emails, while Mike managed the installation. Terry and Mike knew the Alameda city codes, which the other contractors were unaware of the regulations. They were on time and finished everything on schedule. They even provided us with trim around windows that previously didn't have it. The price was equivalent with all the bids we got.

We had fully evaluated all of our options by the time work began, so we were very comfortable with our plan at the project outset. US Windows gave us an accurate estimate of delivery timing and pricing of materials. Because we had small children in the house and wanted as little disruption as possible, Mike arranged for a double crew. The job took 2.5 days total, including scaffolding and clean-up. The crew leader was an absolute perfectionist, making sure the details on each of our windows - many of which were the only size and configuration of its kind in the house - were well matched and finished cleanly. There was minimal mess and disruption, and the few repairs that needed to be made to exterior and interior plaster and woodwork were handled promptly and neatly. There were absolutely no unexpected delays or costs, and they even replaced a screen we broke at no cost to us. We plan to have US Windows complete our remaining windows in conjunction with upcoming remodeling projects.

I am a repeat customer. I replaced my home's windows in two phases. Both times US Window renewal responded quickly to my request for an estimate. Terri is friendly and knowledgeable. There were some delays in getting my windows made, however, Mike kept me informed and scheduled the work as soon as my window were delivered. The installation is amazing. Most people cannot even tell that the windows are replacements. US Window matched the framing of the windows to the original well both on the exterior and interior. They left my house clean and secure. I would use US Window Renewal again.

It went very well. His men showed up on the date and time set. They did a first class job and I am very detail focused. A couple of minor things went wrong and they had to order a part. They did it and took responsibility. They showed up quickly and finished the job. My windows look and work wonderfully. I could not have been happier. Did I mention all the crew was courteous and cleaned up after themselves. Mike is a man of integrity. I would use them again and recommend them in a heartbeat.
