Excellent. Sally and Tyler did a fabulous job. Their work was excellent and they took great care not to get any dust or dirt on the floor or any part of the house. Sally also helped me understand a few of the nuances of my fireplace and I used it last night and it's working great. They were right on time and were both so friendly and professional.

Wonderful - Sally and Mario are great! They arrived exactly on time, spread cloths, and quickly cleaned and inspected the fireplace and chimney. Then they thoroughly cleaned the dryer vent - and the dryer - and answered all of my questions regarding the chimney cap and spark arrestor. The price was very reasonable, they left the house spotless, and were very friendly and professional. I would happily hire them again.

The Irish Sweep arrived on time and did an excellent job. They put down coverings to protect the carpet and did a very clean and professional job. They pointed out that my chimney cap was missing and replaced it for me, and confirmed that the chimney itself was in good condition. My only complaint is that the day of service, I left messages asking for a phone call or email to confirm arrival time because I was leaving another location to meet them, and they didn't reply to those messages. But they arrived right on time so it proved not to be a problem. The Irish Sweep is clearly very knowledgeable and committed to doing a great job. They offered to remind me via email of when to schedule the next cleaning, which I appreciated since it's one of those things that I always mean to do but it just slips my mind. Highly recommended

They were, friendly, puntual and professional. They were also very helpful in providing additional service measuring and photographing the fireplace for the possible future installation of an insert. We are very satisified with their service.

They were prompt in answering the call and in visiting my home, however, like many of the chimney repair folks I called they never bothered to quote on the work I was looking to have done.

It turned out great. He was on time and cleaned up very well after himself. He did a great job, he found one thing that could have been a problem and fixed it right then and there. I was very pleased and have recommended to others.

They invited me to come and see when they did the camera inspection inside the chimney so that I could see everything that they were talking about, which was nice.

I have had 3 vendors look at our chimney. The first came to sweep it and then wouldn't sign off on it saying that the mortar in the firebox needed repair. It took us a year to get around to calling another chimney/masonry vendor. That one quoted us $3000 saying the inside and outside needed repointing. $3000 is a lot and requires a second quote. So we call up another vendor who does come to the East Bay and they recommended the Irish Sweep. I called them and Sally and Manny came out within the week. Sally inspected the firebox and then went outside and inspected the chimney. Manny went up on a ladder and found a gap between the chimney and the house where water had been coming in. After looking at everything, she said that the bricks did not need repointing and were in fact in very good condition for their age. The only repair needed was where the gap was and to create an angle where the chimney and the exterior firebox met so water didn't accumulate. They came back in a few days and made the repair. They were great!!!

It was a very positive experience. Her name is Sally and they did a fabulous job for us. They came out a whole bunch of times and they were really cool. I really like them. They were nice people and very efficient. They were on time and did good work, and the price was very reasonable. I would deal with them again.

Was concerned that firebox and exterior of chimney was in need of mortar repairs. Sally McKnight and her assistant inspected the fireplace and indicated that although there was some aging of the mortar there was no no need for repairs and the fireplace was safe to use. No charge for home visit!

When I called to set up an appointment their answering machine took all the information and also recommended that I consult their website for additional information. The website is well organized and easy to use. I received an email to set up the time and date. The owner and one worker showed up right on time. They carefully covered the carpet and furniture in the area of the fireplace before starting work. They completed the inspection and cleaned the chimney thoroughly. My dryer vent takes several turns from the dryer to the exterior vent, making it somewhat challenging to clean. They went at it from both ends, and cleaned out an enormous amount of lint and dust. The dryer is working much better now-previously it took an excessive amount of time to dry a load of laundry. The price came in below the estimate due to the time involved. Both the owner and her assistant were professional, courteous and thorough. They cleaned up beautifully after they finished. I will definitely use them again.
