HTO Plumbing & Radiant

TJ has come through a bit more expensive, but has been very accommodating in helping us through the permit process. The city of Alameda requires precise plumbing specification for permitting and the architect was not familiar with this type of requirements. TJ step up and help us design the project in detail. He has been responsive and available for consultation. At the end we have selected an other plumber that was coming with the framing contractor, and have voluntarily compensated TJ for his time in consultation. We will use and recommand HTO on future project. ----- UPDATE 5/2012 ----- We were very happy with HTO. In this (big) project we had the opportunity to contrast the services of 2 different plumbers, and TJ (HTO Plumbing) outperformed the other company on all aspects. We were not on a tight schedule so we were comfortable with TJ's relaxed style, and the quality of his service was very good. Solution driven, accommodating, and paying attention to detail are words that comes to my mind. The only criticism might be on the guidance we have received when it cames to the selection of the radiator unit. Without prior experience, it is very difficult to judge and evaluate units on catalogs. As a result I think we have somewhat oversized the system. Now, with the acquired experienced, I might have chosen slightly different radiator model. The system is now functioning well and really beats any pulsed air system...
