It maybe took longer than necessary, with some transferring to other technicians, but in the end was resolved to my satisfaction and gave me some useful information for the future.

Switch was okay, but their lack of choices and price when all we want is a few specific channels (HGTV, National Geographic, SCI) and high speed internet for business is lousy. We get all these stations we never watch and the few we want we have to get the high end package, which is crap. I do not want 15 sports channels, thank you very much! Ugh. Also, speeds not at fast at described. Keep nickel and diming for HD which cost them no more to deliver then regular. We feel like we are being forced into this because there are no other options in are area. Tried ATT, but way too slow. Hopeing Google moves into the area so we can jump ship.

Comcast has TERRIBLE customer service. TERRIBLE!!! They don't care about customer service. Now my experience with DirectTV was WONDERFUL. Knoweledgeable and helpful repair men and the service works great. Don't let Comcast try and make you believe satellite recepetion in bad weather doesn't work. That's a lie
Description of Work: Asked them to wire up TIVO and they sent two guys who bareley spoke english to my house. They moved the cables around then told me my TV was broke. I scheduled another appt and the serviceman came over and dropped off a remote control saying that was on the service order. Then ran out. I then disconnected the service and Comcast refuses to stop billing me.

They came first so I didn't think of going to other providers. I like their selection of channels especially for sports entertainment. They are pretty pricey. Quality is fairly improved and we don't get cable failure like we used to before.

One can’t beat their speed for internet. That is what stands out the most about them. I also use their internet TV. The service has been great. The price is little high but I get high-speed internet. I have not had too many problems with it, what I had they fixed it. Not all the technicians are always on time. Sometimes they are here on time and other times they call and inform me that they are going to be late. They give me a three or four hour window. Most of the people I dealt with were very professional.

They are very expensive and am looking for away to get away from them. The bill keeps going up. I started paying like $130.00 and now its like $210.00. They also have taken some of my favorite channels away from the cheaper packages. I'm just trying to decide which one satellite company to switch to. I would use them in the future until I find something else.

I did not like that because it did not completely correct the problem. It is an intermittent problem and is not as frequent as it used to be. They would not send anybody else because you need to be in the midst of having the problem and every time we called them when we had a problem nobody could come. Finally, they sent a guy and he just happened to catch it when we dropped service to somebody else. He went outside and figured out the problem. He had somebody come in and put in a new wire. However, we are still having the problem though not that frequent. The problem is usually in the evening.
Description of Work: We used Comcast few months ago. We did not spend anything as the problem was with the power. We ended up putting a new cable line from outside into the wires that come into our house.

This is a mixed bag. The installation was prompt but there are certain things we have noticed. There are certain channels that will freeze up on us. Their Internet was reputed to be much faster than what we had before. That is not the case.
