They did a really great job with matching the existing paint on our home. The color guy spent a half an hour with me trying to match the exact color. They did a fabulous job and it was no trouble. They were very personable workers and they did the whole job very efficiently. They have a huge list of testimonials of past customers and they all rave about them. I would highly recommend.

I've worked with Bob and Steve for a few years and know they are great guys. I called Steve because I needed my condo painted after a nightmare remodel. I knew I could count on him and his crew to be professional and punctual. They were. Steve gave me an estimate that was $3500 cheaper than my contractor! (I hate him) J & B's crew came in, covered everything in paper and plastic, did an amazing job, cleaned and were gone in 2 days! The place looked great! Do not hesitate to call these guys!

We found J & B painting from Angie's List and I met with Bob Berger to discuss our initial project of the acoustic ceiling and interior painting. From the beginning he was quick to return phone calls, and his crew showed up consistently on time each day and were very focused, professional, and quality oriented. They've been with him a long time and they're all a genuinely great group of guys! They are very responsive to fixing things as they go along and encouraged us to tell them whatever needed more attention or fixing. Their work ethic and concern for the customer is definitely what sets them far apart from anyone else! They worked as quickly as possible and over week-ends as well to meet our deadlines for moving in. Bob comes around at least once each day to make sure everything is getting done, and to check in with me about the job too. We worked together well and I would definitely use his company again for future painting and drywall needs.

They were very good about calling back and coming out to provide the estimate.

I called J&B on a Monday, had Bob at my place on Tuesday for a quote. On Wednesday I chose the colors and by Friday they started the job. Originally I was told that the job would take up to six days. However, they had a wonderful crew that got in there and got the work done in 2 1/2 days! And they worked on Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day weekend. The workers were extremely friendly and careful. They cleaned up well after themselves...especially for workmen. Granted, there were a couple things here and there, but it was small. I will be moving into the condo in a week, Bob said they would come back and fix anything that needed to some attention after I got settled, that way if anything gets nicked during the move they will fix it at that time. I was extremely impressed with everything and would recommend J&B Painting in a heartbeat. Just a little side note: I just bought a condo and have been contacting different companies for estimates for work. Everything from chimney work, carpet cleaning, and painting. I called five different painting companies...three from Angie's List and two from coupons I received in the mail. Right away I was impressed with J&B Painting because they called me back within two hours of leaving a message regarding receiving an estimate. Something the other companies could learn from! Two companies I never have heard from! One company called back and said that they had a six week waiting list. And, the other one had to take my name and number and I had to wait for the estimator to call me back. The estimator didn't call me back until four days later...too bad, at that point I had already signed a contract with J & B.

They were the cheapest one on the list by $1000. They were very efficient. They came out and did the work. They cleaned up after themselves. It went very well.

They came on time. I didn't check around on pricing, but I was satisfied with it. Their quality of work was excellent, and I was satisfied with what they did for me. They were good workers.

They cleaned up everything when they were done working. They came back to fix something that I saw and I didn't have to get on them about it. They showed up on time to do the work.

They were prompt and courteous throughout the job. The estimate was submitted in a very timely fashion and complete. The price was very competitive with four other bids that I got. They showed up exactly on the time and date scheduled, and worked continuously through each day until the job was finished. All the workers were extremely courteous. They cleaned up all their work each day, and a major clean up when the project finished. I would highly recommend them for any painting projects and would definitely hire them again in the future.

Knowing what an extensive project this would be, we got estimates from six different contractors. J&B's bid was actually the highest, however, it was clear that their estimate included all the work needed to get the job done properly. This is an eighty-year old house that had been sorely neglected for the past 25 years and to get it back in good shape required skillful preparation and repair. Steve promptly returned my call and came out to do the estimate. He paid careful attention to all the concerns we had and made useful observations and suggestions regarding how they would go about doing the job. Once we made our decision to go ahead with J&B, their color consultant came to the house and gave us what turned out to be outstanding recommendations. The crew started work on Tuesday, both inside and out, and the job was finished on Saturday. On Sunday, we had a final walk through with Steve who brought a few crew members along. There were occasional touch-ups and additions here and there that they took care of in just a few hours and the job was done. The house looks fantastic, both inside and out. From being the neighborhood eyesore, it is now again the charming and attractive house it once was. The crew was hard working and conscientious and we are extremely pleased with the work. The ceilings look better than ever and the patching was evidently done by a skilled craftsman. Steve and Bob (brothers) are very easy to deal with, and communication with them was always good. Most of the crew have been with the company for many years so we felt that we benefited from having experienced workmen. I highly recommend J&B Painting to anyone -- especially with a project that might need special attention and care.

My experience with them was good. I liked them. They were very professional. There was all kinds of stucco damage that they repaired. They primed and painted the house and it only took four days.

They were very professional and priced rite. They were on time. And cleaned up after then selves. Since they did the job I have ask him to bid on other work.

Fantastic! We had an old garage with only tarpaper and basic framing; Bob and his crew made it look just incredible. It was amazing to see the before/after with the photos we took.

Great. They were very professional during estimate process and actual painting process. One item on the quote was overlooked on painting day, and they came back first thing the next day to finish and did a fabulous job.

We have never in over 40 years of home ownership had such excellent work! Set-up (masking, etc) was scheduled for early Monday - after our call for a quote on Thursday late and the estimate on Friday. Work began bright and early - and On Time Monday. Painting began on Tuesday, and was completed on Wednesday. The foreman was quite friendly, checking with us if any questions arose. These were solved readily and well. It was worth every penny of the $50 annual fee to Angie's List to find this remarkable company. Our thanks to you all.

It was a really big job, but there were little areas where I had to do some touch-up myself. The cracks opened up again a few days after they left. They came back to fix it, but it reappeared the same day. They did come back and made an earnest attempt to correct the crack and to this date the crack is fixed. They were courteous and responsible and took great pride in the quality of their work.

They were extremely professional, reliable, and they completed any fixes immediately. The crews were wonderful. Everything was done extremely professionally. We will use them again and again.

Almost all of the estimates I received were the same cost. The difference and why I chose J&B was all of the extras they included at no additional charge. And they are the ones who suggested doing these "extras". i.e., the flower shelf replacement, cutting off and removing the studs and re-stuccoing; replacing screen on door. Only one other painter would do two coats of paint and "none" offered a 3 year guarantee like J&B. Immediately upon completion I noticed peeling or puckering on a few small places of stucco. Bob, the B of J&B, immediately responded to my call and sent out the Dunn Edwards area supervisor who diagnosed the problem and J&B then started to successfully correct it. My old house looks beautiful.

Terrific work. They negotiated on price when they learned I had other lower bids. Showed up on time. Did a beautiful job on the house. prepped all the wood, primed and two coats of paint. Also, provided a color consultant at no additional cost. Took four days to paint an left everything spotless. Even repaired a rain gutter and painted pool equipment enclosure and metal fence.

They did a really good job. I had called several companies and when I talked to them about other pricing being lower, they took the time to research the other companies. They agreed that the other companies did good work too, so they lowered their price to match. They didn't try to talk down the other companies. He did a lot of research on his own. They also had a coupon for a color consultant to help us pick out the paint colors. We didn't end up using the colors they said, but it was nice to have the service available. I really liked the fact that they did not bring radios which was a major thing to me. They finished the job even sooner than expected.
