All Four Seasons AC & Heating

This company is FANTASTIC. They were honest, punctual and never tried to sell us things we didn't need. The guys showed up and completed all new duct work, added another vent, and enlarged return in one day. We didn't expect it, but they also installed a new digital thermostat. Our house that previously would only cool to 77 the day before (with the AC running constantly) cooled down to 70 degrees yesterday! Above all, I am so thankful they didn't sell me parts I didn't need right now. All Four Seasons-Thank you for your honesty. I highly recommend All Four Seasons and will surely be using them again when my condenser unit gets an upgrade in the future and all other HVAC needs.

Ethan was very professional. He was quick to fit us in when our hvac system died during the winter. Gave a competitive quote and gave best recommendations for rebate programs and energy efficiency. Very clean work.

We liked them initially but we were going to have them do a re ducting in the attic and they were willing to by pass the inspection clause. California code now is getting stricter and they want them to test to make sure that there's adequate air flow driven in it. It's a single unit on the top that does heating and cooling both and they were suppose to check when they re duct to make sure that there's not too much of a pressure differential to make sure there is adequate air flow because if there's not adequate air flow then the unit uses a lot more energy than it should. And it burns off faster too. So there are good reasons why they have these code requirements and I was asking them I had thought for a long time that we didn't have adequate air flow, we only had two rather small intake ducts and I said well what if we expand this one make it bigger? He said yeah you can do that I said would that help? He said sure it will help I said well do we really need it? He said well if you it and my point of view is what the right thing to do technically speaking whether or not I want to. This is the technician I'm talking to and I wanted to able to meet the code and he said it would meet the code and I said well who's the person who checks because they're supposed to use somebody outside of the business, an independent person that goes around and is certified by the state to be able to check these things like the pressure differential you know what I'm speaking about. They said his name was Juan or something like that, they gave me a first name and I wanted to just get a little more information and check to make sure he was certified they wouldn't give me his last name or anything about him. And I was getting different quotes on what they were going to do, I had to ask for more specifics like what kind of material are we going to use and within the contract said essentially that I owed them everything as soon as they pulled up on the drive way instead of 10 or 20% and then the rest after you know the fine print said you owe us everything when we show up, and I'm not saying that they were going to enforce that but they could. So there were many layers of opaqueness from them, and they said well you have a, but you have this appointment to get this done, I said well, you know they're trying to say well you have to do this now because we set aside time for you next week. And I said then take me off and I can't use them again I don't trust them. I said what about the code what about checking and they said well you can do that if you want but it will cost more. So it turns out they are one of these company's who in spite of the fact that they have a lot of nice reviews on your website they are willing to do things and not follow the code in terms of having it checked out with the city or the state of the county I don't know who checks it. But that sound really dangerous to me. If they are willing to cut corners to save people money.

Very professional estimating process; competitively priced (in fact a bit lower than other bids received), great office staff to work with on scheduling, finished ahead of schedule, very neat no mess left behind, system passed inspection with flying colors, was told it in fact worked at 97% efficiency when 85% is the level that passes inspection. Nice crew, liked that they were local and would not hesitate to recommend.

I had a problem with my heating system. One section of the house did not get enough heat. Moris, the technician, arrives ahead of time (after coordinating it with me). He was very polite and professional. Spent some time in the attic to identify the problems. Provided me with a detailed changes that need to be made and a fair estimate. He replaced the filter of the inlet filter at no additional charge. I am likely to use this company for the above changes.

All Four Seasons is an extremely professional service provider. Ethan, the owner, gave a competitive estimate, supervised his crew on site during installation, gave thought to optimizing system design, provided superior customer service, and was a pleasure to deal with. His crew, headed by Francisco, was punctual, respectful, careful, and completed an installation that an independent HERS rater said was one of the most efficient systems he had ever seen. Cat and Nicole in the office were extremely helpful and made it a breeze to submit all paperwork required for applicable rebates. I intend to use this company moving forward and highly recommend it.

It was refreshing to have work done on the home by a group of professionals that place a high regard for customer satisfaction. I shopped around with five different AC/Heating companies before deciding to go with All Four Seasons (AFS). Our aging rooftop package unit was replaced with a 3-ton, 16 seer unit with new thermostat (went with 16 seer for the two-stage heating/cooling, greater comfort and efficiency). AFS?s quote was on the higher-end of the bell curve, but it was well worth it because you get a lot in return. Ethan provided the estimate and he was the only estimator who thoroughly reviewed our current AC/furnace system. Not only did Ethan check the old package unit on the roof, but he also looked at all the registers and return. Other estimators only looked at the rooftop unit and thermostat. There was also one who didn?t even bother to look at anything at all. Ethan was very thorough, answered all my questions and explained how the crane would be used to remove the old unit and lift the new one up to the roof. Use of the crane was one of my biggest concerns. Installation went very well, including the crane lift. The techs are all nice, very professional and considerate. There was an issue with the thermostat wiring (not AFS?s fault) that required the installation of a different thermostat than the one originally quoted. Ethan went to great lengths to get the other thermostat from a supplier 20+ miles away so it could be installed the same day. Post-installation inspection went just as smooth. AFS obtained the necessary city permits before starting the job, coordinated the final inspection visit with the city and supplied copies of all paperwork. We passed with flying colors. Working with Cat was a great pleasure. Not only is she a true professional, but she exhibits terrific communication skills. Within minutes of sending Cat an email, in comes her response. Ethan said that he would help us with obtaining manufacturer rebates and Cat made the process so easy. Cat provided a detailed email with all the information I would need to submit the rebate. Everything I needed was there and I completed it in just 5 minutes. I never heard of a company help their customers with even filing rebates.

Moris cane out & took a look at the furnace. Said the board needed to be replaced. temporarily fixed for the moment until board is changed.

At first they were trying to push us for complete replacement, but once we indicated that we were not interested, then they completed the repair promptly.

Ethan is simply put amazing. I have neverbefore gotten the level of service that I got from Ethan. He not only installed the HVAC unit, but he also provided incredible service. I highly recommend Ethan for the following reasons: - No pressured sales talk - compared to his competitors, Ethan offers a price and then lets you decide. No call backs to see where you are at in your decision (and the price is competitive) - knowledgeable - simply put he knows his stuff - customer service - he came to my house 3 times before he installed. I had issues with asbestos abatement and he was key to resolving it. When I did choose him, he had sufficient resources to do the job on time and within budget. On top of the HVAC he also installed a new dryer vent. It was a little tricky but Ethan did a great job on this as well. One year later I had what I thought was a perceived issue with the unit (it was not), called up Ethan?s office at 4pm and he was at my house by 6pm, problem solved. He stands by his work. I would highly recommend Ethan and his company for your HVAC needs. He know his stuff , is very customer oriented and really wants a win-win.

1. Your technician checked the ac heater and found the wires connected to the relay burned and disconnected. Technician reconnected the burnt wires. 2. Technician restarted the unit. The 24v transformer then exploded and burned. 3. Technician replaced the relay and transformer. 4. Technician tried to locate where the short was coming from. 5. Technician concluded that the low voltage wire is faulty and causing the short. I was billed for $225.00. On top of the $69 I paid for the troubleshoot fee thru Angies List. 6. Technician concluded that the low voltage cable should be replaced by owner. 7. Technician left after I paid with my credit card. 8. Next morning, I reconnected the old low voltage wires that the technician left hanging on both ends. First, I had to find the shorted wires. Using a multi-tester, I was able to eliminate the white and green wires to be shorted. I went to the internet to look at the wiring instructions. Both for the ac/heater and the thermostat module. It was not hard because they were all color-coded. I did not replace the low voltage wire as mentioned on the Description of Work Completed. There was a spare wire inside the existing 5-wire cable that I was able to use and replace one of the shorted wires. I also made sure that the junction boxes are water-resistant by replacing the gasket and wrapping it with electric tape. The unit started to work just by using the existing low voltage cable. Both heater and a/c are working now.

All very easy. They were here for maybe 30 minutes.

I was very impressed with Ethan and the whole team at All Four Seasons. We had our 1952 house renovated to a second-floor and our contractor did not bother to do a mechanical plan. We had some HVAC people come in and look at all the work they would have to do since it would be a whole system install and walk back out again. Ethan took two hours to walk through my house and together we figured out where all of the vents would be and where they would place all of the ducts and tubing inside the walls and ceiling. Our construction crew was a nightmare but I always knew I could count on Ethan. He and Jason and Nichole in the office, as well as Cat, were always there to ask questions and made sure we got our $1250 rebate which was very much needed. They were professional and communicative throughout the whole process. I can't say enough good things about them! Thank you All Four Seasons!

Owner Ethan was on time for our estimate. Very friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. It was the third estimate we received to have our HVAC system replaced. All four seasons gave us the best price and INCLUDED duct replacement, vent replacement, enlargement of family room and master bedroom vents, installed new condensation and refrigeration lines WHEN THE OTHER ESTIMATES DID NOT INCLUDE. They even included the city permits something the other estimates didn't mention. For the installation: what can I say. The crew showed up on time were very professional and courteous and did the complete removal and installation in two days. The installation was done during the record breaking heat wave and the installation crew didn't miss a beat, It had to have been 140 degrees in the attic and these guys worked like it was nothing. I was truly amazed how these guys worked right through the heat and never complained. My wife and I we are very happy with the installation and the system works great!

Johnny did a great job - he worked quickly and communicated important info to me throughout the servicing. He was very professional and I was very comfortable having him in my home.

We got several estimates, all from companies with excellent reviews on Angie's list. They were all comparable in terms of scope, customer service, consideration given to details. The choice came down to Carrier vs. Lennox and price. After spending some time researching, we decided to go with All Four Seasons because they price was more competitive and Carrier was offering a large rebate on the high end Infinity model we wanted. Ethan, who gave us the estimate, seemed to be very focused on planning for all details and making sure we understood everything. They were able to accommodate us quickly once we finally made our decision, despite it being the hottest (and in my thinking, probably the busiest) time of year. Ethan even helped us by recommending an electrician, since we wanted to have a grounding rod installed prior to beginning work on the AC/Heating. The crew showed up right on time with Ethan on the agreed day. Ethan introduced everyone and made sure we all were on the same page with where the registers and return would go. The crew was great - all polite and worked so hard, despite horrid heat. It was 100+ outside, so I imagine the attic was more like 120 or something. They had everything done in three days and communicated proactively during that time. We had the HERS inspection and city inspection and everything passed. We are so happy with the system we chose. We chose the more expensive option, with a higher SEER rating (which is like the equivalent to MPG for AC) and the 5 stage variable speed motor. It is SO quiet, works like a dream and we expect to recoup our money in comfort and energy efficiency savings as we plan to stay in our home a long time. We would highly recommend All Four Seasons! Juan came out immediately and fixed the issue but did a thorough inspection and informed us our upstairs AC unit, furnace, duct work was from 1988. Needless to say it was on its last leg and was in HVAC hospice. He put no pressure on us but with the amount of info he gave it was clear we had to replace the whole system. After a few calls back and forth they returned a week later to do the work of installing new furnace, ac unit and duct work. The crew was professional and respectful. They replaced all of the duct work and hung it properly from the ceiling in the attic as opposed to on the ground like it was. It took them two days and there was no trace of them being here. They had someone come back a week later to check the efficiency of the work and the unit. Kat in the office was easy to work with and was very kind and responsive. I went to 3 different companies for bids to replace all the ductwork, to 12 vents, for my HVAC. Ethan came and inspected and informed me that I would need asbestos removed first, before they could do the work. The other 2 companies told me the same thing. But Ethan said they could get the Asbestos removal company to come in the morning, and they could then go in and replace it all. The other 2 companies would have done the asbestos removal one day, and the replacement of the ductwork the next day. That would have left us without A/C on a day and night, when temps were near 100. That was very applealing to us. Ethan was also the most reasonably priced, and his price included the asbestos removal, and all permit fees. I really liked working with Ethan. He took more time during the initial visit to look in my attic, than any of the others. He did exactly what he said he would do. The asbestos people came at 7 AM, his crew moved in at 9:30. It was so hot that day, they had to take frequent breaks, but they still finished by 4 PM, and I had A/C again. That saved us the expense of staying in a hotel for the night. I am so happy with the job they did. His workers were incredible. and the contract was completed on time. I will use them for all my HVAC needs in the future. I came home from a short vacation and found my AC unit leaking into my hallway during a recent heatwave. I had to turn the unit off to prevent the leading. I found this company at Angie's List and called them the next day, a Thursday and they were able to get me an appointment on Saturday morning between 9:00 & 11:00. The Repair-person showed up at 9:00 on the dot and immediately was able to assess the cause of the leak and fixed it within an hour. Great service, very nice man and very polite! I was dreading the visit as I was afraid that the fix might cause me a great deal of money but I was relieved at the price.

Of course on the morning of one of the hottest days of the year our AC unit decides to spring a leak. I called 6 different Angie's List Top Rated providers and none of them could either make an emergency call that day or they didn't service our area. When I called All Four Seasons, not only did I get a friendly person who was more than willing to set an appointment (with a 2-hour window) but she was able to give the name of the technician who would be coming to meet with us. Cut to the appointment...our technician arrived early, was incredibly efficient, professional and friendly. He fixed our leak, added more needed freon, made some recommendations, educated us on a bunch of stuff, answered all our questions without hesitation and gave us a coupon discount just because. We never felt upsold, only like we've taken good care of. We will be using All Four Season AC from now on. Also note that we used an Angie's List Deal for a 20-point AC checkup the week before with one of the highest rated providers. You can look for that review as a one-star.
