Cort Bacon was supposed to inspect my house for just your regular home inspection. He said the roof had 5-7yrs left on it even after I told him a PROFESSIONAL roofer came and looked at it and said it was good for at most 3 years. He said the electric ?maybe bad? because only 2/6 track lights worked when he turned them on. NO KIDDING, there were only 2 bulbs in the fixture. He also claimed the ?electric maybe bad? because the 20 YEAR OLD STOVE didn't work! I screwed light bulbs into the remaining light bulb sockets and the lights were fine. We had a thunder/wind storm a couple of weeks after Cort Bacon?s inspection on my house and sure enough, the roof leaked. We now have to hold off on closing on the house because the bank isn't allowed to give me a mortgage unless the roof has 2 years of life expectancy on it. It certainly does not and now the roof is getting replaced. He said I need to get a plumber because the toilet didn't fill up with water. Thanks Cort. I will not recommend Cort Bacon to anybody. Every single thing that Cort Bacon put on his $350.00 report, an average homeowner would have been able to figure out for free. It was a giant waste of money.
