Although I still haven't contracted anyone in particular for the work I needed done, JWL was by far the most professional company that came out to bid. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable, professional. The man who came to give the quote was punctual and spent a generous amount of time actually looking at the repairs that needed to be done, which I appreciated. Because of the scope of work, the bid did require some further research which caused a small delay. However, when the bid was returned as promised it was in line with what the man had verbally quoted.

The contract was signed on July 6, 2009 and completed on October 13, 2009. There was a delay because the painting subcontractor had not used the paint I requested and I add a new master bath shower and matching medicine chests. Any problem I had was handled by Julio Reyes in a timely manner. The estimator Mike Christopher and I had some misunderstandings so I mainly worked through Mr. Reyes.

Their kids each had ideas on how it needed to be done so with each of those ideas he rewrote a quote and was very meticulous about it. Unlike the other companies who bid on the project, they were really prompt and did a good job of getting the quote in as soon as they could. They were really good, i can't say anything bad about these people. They have started the project. They found an issue with the door Tuesday, submitted the quote Tuesday afternoon and started on Wednesday. They gave us his cell phone number and was available to family members who could only come on the weekend. So he made himself available to us even over the weekend. he is looking at this job as if it were my parents and he's keeping costs down and being realistic. One kid wants to do other things and he said wait, we need to get the bathroom done. He wants to focus on what they need and the other things can come later. He's very compassionate and very considerate of the noise level in the house and how much it disturbs her. The lady is blind and in bed, he is so conscientious and generally caring about these people. Amazing.

They did a very good job for us, and they were very attentive to what we wanted done. We had gotten another quote, and their quote was comparable. We will recommend them to others and will use them again in the future if we were going to do any more work.
