Description of Work: They reupholstered a Berkline recliner for me. They did a beautiful job. It is now more comfortable than it was. Attention was given even to the wooden parts of the chair. I am very pleased with the quality of the work. It took |A little longer, approx 3 months and cost a little more but in the end it turned out beautiful. It was well worth the wait.

 + -1 moreThis is a continuation of my review of three weeks ago. Just got the chair back today, and was I blown away!! The workmanship is superb, and exceeds all my expectations. The chair looks like what a century old rocker should look like. The fit and finish is spot on. The fabric my wife and I picked looks like it was always there. Ron and his people did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend Sun City Upholstery to anyone looking for high quality upholstery work. We will also talk our Gem golf cart to them when we need a new seat cover.
Description of Work: Complete rebuild of a century old rocking chair.

 + -1 moreBuThe process went very smoothly. I took the chair cushion in. They examined it and told me how they could fix it for the lowest cost. It looks fabulous you would never know a dog had tried to eat it. They gave me the date when it would be ready. They called on the date and advised it was ready. I went to pick it up. I looked like it had never been abused! I was so pleased! It is my favorite chair.
Description of Work: Repaired a Wing Back Chair seat cushion that my dog destroyed. The pattern was unique, and they were able to fix the upholstery so that I did not have to have the entire chair recovered. This saved me quite a bit of money. They are not the easiest business to find as their location is a bit off the beaten track, I advise getting directions from Google maps or another direction providing program.

 + -1 moreProfessional, punctual and cheerful estimate and research of options. I called Sun City Upholstery based on their good reviews on Angie's list. I was considering re-upholstering a quality sofa my mother gave to me. I first spoke with Chris on the phone (office administrator, scheduler). She took down the details and my questions. She quickly scheduled Gary to come to my home at a time that fit my schedule in order to provide an estimate and bring samples.Gary arrived at my home on time. He had all the information I provided to Chris and completed research in preparation of his visit. Gary listened well as I explained my and quot;dilemmaand quot;....dirty sofa....should I clean it, should I re-upholster it or buy a new one? Gary provided his point of view on the subject. He also provided estimates and multiple options if I chose to re-upholster.I never felt Gary was trying to convince me to re-upholster. He merely provided me information regarding what he could do if I chose to re-upholster.Ultimately, I decided to purchase a new sofa. When I informed Sun City of my choice, they understood. I would call Sun City or recommend them for any future re-upholstering work.

 + -1 moreRon Anderson evaluated the chairs to be reupholstered very meticulously, giving specific areas that would be improved with his service and providing an accurate estimate. He also spent a lot of time with me and my wife looking at their vast array of available fabrics, trying to narrow down what candidates would be best for the color scheme and expected use versus cost. The chairs were ready exactly as scheduled, and turned out better than expected, with several improvements to padding, look, and strength. We couldn't have been more pleased.
Description of Work: Sun City Upholstery reupholstered 6 kitchen chairs and 4 bar stools for us.

 + -1 moreWe dropped the car off at 9 a.m. and by 2 p.m. we were picking it up. The job was done professionally and we couldn't be more pleased. I would definitely use this company again for any auto or home upholstery repair needs.The staff was pleasant and easy to work with!!
Description of Work: We purchased a "new to us" 2009 Suzuki Grand Vitara from a private party. When we picked it up, there was a hole in the driver's seat (looked like a cigarette burn). The map/book holder behind the driver's seat was also ripped out and poorly repaired by hand. Unfortunately, we hadn't noticed these things before we purchased the vehicle. We took the vehicle to Sun City Upholstery, Inc. for an estimate in September and made an appointment to have these items fixed. The company actually saved us money, time and effort by stitching a seam across the burn hole instead of replacing the seat cover with new material that may not match the passenger seat because it was already going on three years old. Plus this material was no longer available in the Suzuki material book. Upon their recommendation but our choice, the passenger seat also had a second seam stitched. It was an identical match to the driver's seat. What a great suggestion! The work was impeccable! You would think the seats had been originally made with this second seam! They also reinforced the binding area under the seat and stitched the map/book holder and side seam so that no one would ever know there had been a problem. Both seats and upholstery had to be removed to do these repairs.
