+ -1 moreThey did a good job. They were very competitive. It was very good quality. I was very very pleased. He had a lot of jobs before our job and one or two of them ran over because they weren't able to get the parts supplied.

Description of Work: Kitchen countertop replacement along with new sink. This is a follow-up to my prior poor rating review. I did get a call this morning with an appointment in the later morning. He did apologize for not calling us previously as we expected. The appointment went well. I raised my review score accordingly.

+ -1 moreThey did an excellent job. They did a very good job. I was very satisfied. I called four from Angie's List and he was the only one that responded. The other three didn't show up. They were very responsive. He had some other jobs and he let me know that upfront. When he had them done, he came by and did the work. They were always here early in the morning. The professionalism was very high.

+ -1 moreThe contractor, Steve, is very professional. He has good design skills and was able to redesign appliance placement to give more functional as well as better looking kitchen. He and his crew are meticulous craftsmen. They took time to isolate the kitchen from remainder of house to reduce the noise and dust. They cleaned up at the end of each work day. We experienced a short delay as the contractor's tile installer was tied up for 3 days before he could do our job. Once tile was in the rest of the work proceeded at a reasonable pace. Steve is a true contractor who takes charge of the project and ensured that all of the supervision and interaction was done by him and did not require that we do things for which we had no experience or knowledge. We continue to be very pleased and satisfied with our new kitchen.
Description of Work: Design a complete remodel of kitchen. Demo the existing kitchen. Install floor tile, cabinets, appliances. Rerouted power and water lines as needed. Worked with stone people to produce new counter tops.

Description of Work: Total kitchen remodel. They textured the walls, added can lights, removed an old window, and installed a smaller one, removed an unnecessary patio door and closed up the wall, and replaced all the cabinets and counter tops. As I write this, they're just finishing up. They've done a great job. Very professional looking. Steve came to my house and measured everything, then he made a computer rendering of my ideas, and some of his own ideas. To be honest, his ideas for the kitchen were much better than mine, but they involved moving water lines, which I didn't want to do because of fears of cost increases, so we stayed with my design. He was more than willing to incorporate a pantry cabinet I brought with me from my old house. We matched it up to the new cabinets at his showroom, and I'm amazed at how well it matches my new cabinets. Steve and Gary work well together and make a great team. I can't wait until the flooring is done and I can begin using my beautiful kitchen!

Description of Work: Creative Kitchens was sold to us as a kitchen designer. The owner said he only does the install and does not suggest colors, styles or any design ideas. He came out and took some photos of our kitchen and said he would be back with a drawing of how to layout the cabinets. We never heard from him again.

+ 0 moreI went to the showroom in Youngtown where I met Steve. I needed to order additional cabinets to match my existing 8 year old Merillat cabinets. As I am an experienced do-it-yourselfer, I just needed the cabinets and trim to install the cabinets myself. Steve was great. He called me promptly when the cabinets came in. He answered my all my questions and even gave advice regarding the best way to install the cabinets (even after I started the process). I installed the cabinets and they look great.
Description of Work: Provided all the cabinets and trim for me to complete my design.

+ -1 moreSteve is the owner of Creative Kitchens. He has an outstanding designer Mary and Ed did a significant part of the work along with Steve. Mary came up with a beautiful designed for the kitchen, Steve had excellent suggestions for the master bath and completely rebuilt the house to be ADA compatible. Steve and Mary came to our home to shows us their ideas on a number of occassions. They were very knowledgeable, professional and very personable. The quality of work was outstanding. And we love the new home they "created for us". The kitchen was completely redone as were the bathrooms. I highly recommend this outstanding company and wonderful professionals.
