It went great and we have no complaints.
Description of Work: He moved an upright piano out of a sunken living room up one step to a tiled area so we could install carpeting. When he moved it back he also replaced two casters.

He and his son showed up using a truck and trailer. They brought in a special metal piano dolly with a "skid" board and moving blankets. Mike told me a lot about the different piano stores and about how he's been moving pianos since his dad started the business in the mid 60's. Before I knew it they had it on its side and out the door. They strapped it to the inside of the trailer with special straps and put a bunch of folded moving blankets on it. I didn't have to give them any directions and they found there way to the new house without problem. They we're very quick and seemed quite experienced. I'd say they took about 5 minutes setting it back up and they were even nice enough to move the piano around to show me what the best look would be.
Description of Work: Mike and his step son moved my Steinway "B" for me the other day. His professionalism and dedication to good service made me feel at ease having my piano moved. He said that his prices ranged from $120 for uprights and went up to $225 depending on the size of the grand piano (all the way up to 9 foot). But he said mostly he moves 5-6 foots for between $140 and $160. He came highly recommended from Steinway of Phoenix and AZ Piano.
