Jared Water Fountain Repair

Awesome experience working with Arianna and Sylvester of Jared’s Fountain Repair. I had an older fountain which was in need of repair because of root damage to the base, bowl and basin. They quoted me a price to cleanly remove the base, flush the system, install a better pump, rebuild the base complete with patching and painting. Their work is meticulous and thorough. Excellent communication and responsiveness from Arianna. Our fountain is back up and running and looks better than it ever did. They’re some of the most honest and trustworthy people I’ve ever met. We’re pleased in every way with how our project went from start to completion.

They were quick to come and gives a quote. Then, in a couple of days, they came and in half a day they fixed both fountains that are now working as new. Love it!

Ariana and Sylvester responded to an online message over the weekend and promptly scheduled a service call. They arrived right on time, were very professional and knowledgeable and quickly completed the necessary repairs and had the fountain back working again. I found Ariana and Sylvester very easy to work with, the price was what they had quoted upfront, the work was completely quickly and professionally and I would recommend their services to anyone in need of fountain repair

All went quite well and if you have fountains I wouldn't hesitate to call the. They also install fountains and do monthly maintenance on them.

Sylvester and Ariana came out and did an excellent job. They came out the day before the service to look at the job and give us an estimate. We had interviewed two other companies and decided on Jared. They were very professional, arrived on time, did the necessary repairs and everything works perfectly.

Wonderful! Sylvester and Ariana were here at the time they told me. They were pleasant, helpful and professional. They went right to work setting up their equipment and emptied and cleaned my fountain. I was partiulary impressed at how persistent Sylvester was to get into every nook and crevice to make sure that my fountain was thoroughly cleaned. He power washed every square inch of the fountain taking apart all elements to make sure no spot was left with any dirt or algae. This is a professional staff that did a great job on my fountain, which is still "smiling" from the bath.

Sylvester and Ariana were great. I called them and they came out the next day. This fountain had obviously not worked for several years and the pump and float needed to be replaced. It was also leaking like a sieve around the base. Sylvester gave me a quote of $750 to install a new pump and float and repair the base with a water-proof elastic-type coating so it stopped leaking. While he was there, he also pumped the water out of the fountain basin that my husband and I had poured in earlier so we could test the pump. I was expecting to do that with a bucket after they were gone, but they did it for me. Sylvester also spent some time investigating the electrical outlet and timer associated with the pump. All of this was about 30 years old and Sylvester gave it a thorough going over while he was there just to give me a quote. I was impressed. My husband and I decided to have him do the work and he and his wife returned in a couple of days after the fountain had thoroughly dried. The arrived as scheduled, calling beforehand to let me know they were on their way. They completed the work as promised and did a fantastic job. They gave me a lot of good advice about keeping the fountain clean and said if I had any trouble, they would return and take care of it. They also clean and maintain fountains on a weekly basis. I could tell that Sylvester and Ariana take a lot of pride in their work and we would definitely hire them again.

They were very responsive to my initial message inquiring about their service. They were on time. Unfortunately, they were unable to clog it, they said because of the way it was constructed. But they didn't charge me anything and they did try, so I give them "A" for effort. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Great customer experience. Responsive, polite, fair price, and quick estimate. They couldn't do same day service, though they tried. They came within 24 hours and had the work done quickly, professionally, and were very pleasant to interact with. I'm newer to Arizona, so they also provided me with a bunch of tips on how to keep things working better in the future. I highly recommend them for future work, and will call them the next time something breaks!

Great - service performed as expected .

We had two fountains that needed new pumps. I got a hold of Ariana in the morning and She and Sylvester were able to come out in the afternoon. They assessed the situation and give us a very fair quote for the work. They showed up first thing the next morning and replaced both pumps, cleaned the fountains and had them up in running in a couple hours. They were thorough, professional and communicated every step along the way. I would HIGHLY recommend Jared Water Fountain Repair. We are going to have them back to do some work on the water features in our pool. A very satisfied customer !!!

Our fountain is 25 years old and has occasionally stopped running when the motor burns out. It had not been running for over 4 years. My neighbor recently had his fountain repaired and was very happy with the company he used. I had intended to ask him the name of the repair company, but he was out of town when I got around to scheduling the service. I called Jared because they have great reviews on Angie's List. This is literally a mom and pop operation - a husband and wife team. They came out to look at the fountain, determined it needed a new pump, electrical outlet repair and a new leveler (exactly what we had determined needed repair). The bid was $450 and they requested $100 deposit to cover the cost of the materials. They returned on time with the materials. They did a great job! They even cleaned the fountain bowl after finishing the repairs. The repair bill was similar to what we have paid in the past. The fountain looks beautiful again! I am happy to recommend them. Additionally, as they were working on the repairs they asked if my neighbor had recommended them. They had done his repair!

Sylvester did an amazing job and the fountain looks like new again. Sylvester discovered I had no electric on the left side of my house. He came prepared with an extension cord and plugged in just inside my door. I now have to call Mr. Sparky and get the electrical fixed, but the fountain looks and sounds wonderful.

Went very well. I'm writing this a year later and it's still working. We have him come out every couple of months to monitor the equipment and wiring etc. Such a pleasure to enjoy our double waterfall over boulders and not worry about it. Price was for initial work only.

We have a “water feature” in the backyard, adjacent to our patio. It consists of a pool about the size and shape of a good-sized, two-person bathtub. The pool sits at the base of a small, rock-covered mound. Water from the pool is pumped to the top of the small mound, and then flows in two streams back into the pool. Late last year, the pump failed and the person who had been doing work on the water feature for us failed to return my calls or respond to my emails. So the water feature sat idle over the winter while we tried to find a reliable source of help to get the water feature back up and running. In early March we found Jared Fountain Repair in Angie’s List and contacted them. Ariana and Sylvester Hernandez came to our house at the agreed upon day and time, quickly evaluated the situation and gave us an estimate of what it would cost to get the water feature up and running. The estimate was reasonable, and they were both knowledgeable and pleasant to work with, so we asked them to go ahead and do the work. A week later they were back at the agreed upon time and did exactly what they said they would do. No surprises. In our experience, it is quite difficult to find people who do what they say they will do, when they say they will do it. And who also take pride in doing first-rate work. We were so impressed with the way Ariana and Sylvester do business that we also decided to hire them to do monthly maintenance on our water feature. They are easy to work with, and extremely good at staying in touch throughout the entire process. If you’re looking for folks who are reliable, and do quality work at a very reasonable price, you might want to give Ariana a call. We’re certainly glad we did.

I called this fountain service company for the SPECIFIC REASON that their Angie's List summary said "A small family company that is dedicated to the service and repair of garden (ponds/water features)fountains. We specialize in changing pumps, motors, floats, cleanings, leveling, new hoses. Everything your fountain needs." And, further, the company specifically listed " Concrete Garden fountains, Cantera Stone, Ponds, Motor, Pump Replace, Water level, Monthly Maintenance." While they did get the fountain up and running, their service was essentially useless to me because, upon their figuring out that the fountain structure had a leak and needed to be re-sealed, they asked for their payment and left. I then had to call a SECOND fountain repair company to reseal the leak. That company - well-established in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area - repaired the leak and re-sealed the fountain and, incidentally, advised me that the leveler that Jared's Fountain put in was not really a good choice because it was metal and not plastic and that, over time, it would not last well as the chemicals required to properly maintain the fountain would eventually corrode the metal. Had I been informed UP FRONT by Jared's Fountain that they do NOT actually do "EVERYTHING YOUR FOUNTAIN NEEDS" as their ad says, I NEVER would have called them but, rather, would have called another fountain repair company that actually DOES do everything your fountain needs, including re-sealing and leak repair, as needed. The work Jared's Fountain did to get the fountain up and running and the leveler replacement were relatively minor tasks which the second fountain company would easily have incorporated in their service at little or no extra cost to me. So, the result of all this is that I paid TWICE - $160 to Jared's Fountain Service and then, again, to get a Fountain Service Company out that really DOES "do everything your fountain needs." In sum, although the young couple who own Jared's Fountain Service seemed to be pleasant and earnest people, their ad on Angie's List was not really and caused me to spend an unnecessary $160. After thinking about this for a few days, I called Ariana who, with her husband, Sylvester, own the company and told them of my dissatisfaction. While never rude, Ariana did not offer to return my money and said, "well, I guess our ad could have been clearer." When I logged on to Angie's List today, I noticed that the description of their service had not been changed. BUYER BEWARE! THIS IS NOT A FULL-SERVICE FOUNTAIN COMPANY.

Amazing work by Sylvester in fixing an outdoor water fountain. The problem had been poor water pressure with the self-leveler causing a flood in the backyard. Sylvester adjusted the water floater & checked the pump. His assessment was the large landscape rocks had placed pressure on the floater which interfered with its integrity. No replacement parts were needed and he was completely finished within the hour. It's been 24 hrs since the completed job and the fountain is working great and the flooding has stopped. Very impressed with him and his wife Arianna in providing excellent service.

Arianna takes the calls and Sylvester makes the repairs but both come together and they preferred to go through the gate than through the house. I had several problems, some that I didn't even realize I had. They work fast and fees were quoted before work was done. I'm very satisfied with the speed, convenience and cost.

Wonderful service, wonderful people, very dependable.
