Description of Work: Made a last second major change. Monsoon coming in quick, late on a Friday afternoon. Owner made the adjustment himself. No added charge!!!

Description of Work: They were very punctual and did a good job for the price. Someone forgot to tell the painters to paint my shed and they were all ready to go home when I mentioned it, so that portion of the job was a little sloppy, but otherwise the house looks good.

Description of Work: Sunguard performed an excellent makeover of the exterior of our home, sanding and performing prep work (sanding and taping) where necessary. I also asked them to paint the cinder block walls to match the house. I couldn't be happier with the results and we have received many compliments as this was long overdue.

Description of Work: They painted the house and block fence. Painting was slightly delayed by dust storms. Paint was dumped into my granite gravel in the front yard. The owner suggested that I should be impressed by the multitasking skills of the painter who can spray paint and talk on a cell phone at the same time.

Description of Work: We had Sunguard paint the entire outside of our single story home. The results turned out better than I expected for the price. Our stucco has lots of cracks and hadn't been repainted since being built 10 years ago so it was due. I have seen many houses where you can obviously see where the repaired the cracks but Sunguard did an excellent job and all of the cracks blend in and you do not notice them. And 3 months later I haven't seen any of the cracks redevelop either. I felt they could have done a little better prep work on some of it but again the price was $1500 less than the painter that did our neighbors house quoted who did spend the extra time to fill in all cracks in the wood eves and stuff like that so I wasn't really expecting it and was extremely happy for the price we paid.

Description of Work: I had the exterior of my home painted including the cement block walls surrounding the property. They were very prompt, very neat, and very easy to work with. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone that needed a reliable painter.

Description of Work: They painted the whole exterior of house & Trim including a large patio covering. They dug the gravel down and away from the house to insure complete coverage and not over spraying the gravel and put back. Painter was skilled and crew worked hard. Great clean up. House looks great. I did have a few drip spots on the roofing and cement but minor. This was a small house and the price included paint.

Description of Work: Walpter Jr was very responsive and quoted me on our house paint, exterior yard walls, and deck painting. All was to be done in a specified paint in which they were willing to change to for an additional cost. My complaint is that when I called to say that I did not think that the house was properly powerwashed or prepared for painting only Walter Sr. would not listen. The workers began painting without the powerwashing and preparation issue being addressed. When the painting was done, we observed that many cracks and prior peeling paint had not been addressed. When trying to rectify this (with Walter Sr), he was huffy, angry, and did not allow Walter Jr whom I thought was the contractor I would be working with rectify this. I ended up paying the $2900 which was $300 less than what I had contracted.

Description of Work: Painted large master bedroom, hall and master bath - walls and baseboards -and touched up water damage mark in ceiling. | |They took measures to minimize mess and protect my furniture, and were extrememly neat and proficient. I was thrilled that there was absolutelyno bleeding of wall paint into trim or ceiling.

Description of Work: The advertised Angie's Deal was for a 1,500 sqft foot home with a price of $1,200. We purchased this package because this is the size of our house. When Sunguard Custom Painting went out to our house the price was raised dramaticly!!! It was bumped up to $2,100 and when we complained about a bait and switch the increase was dropped to $2,000.00!!! Then the painter backed out of the job because of our review about Walter raising the price! |
